I'm always looking for a good coffee shop and I was excited to find this spot which was a short walk from the hotel I was staying in. I found The Berni Bean and I was instantly excited to try one of their specialty lattes and their empanadas. I almost decided to keave because my first interaction with one of the employees was not the most welcoming, but I stayed. I ordered the empanadas (I got both chicken and beef but beef was definitely my favorite of the two) and a Cinnamon French Toast Latte with an extra shot of espresso. The latte was absolutely incredible! I got it iced and I drank every drop. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and packed so much flavor! The beef empanada was really good but the chicken was a bit dry inside to me. The spot was cute but lots of homeless people came and went. Overall it was a nice coffee spot option.

I usually don't order matcha out because it's so expensive and so rarely good but this was 10/10. The pricing was incredibly reasonable compared to most other coffee shops and the flavor was perfect. The color says it all. I'm only in town for work but I've already come to this shop multiple times. It's a comfortable place to sit and read and the servers are all great. I'll come here every time I'm in Dallas.

Cute little coffee shop with a unique vibe. Transports me to the beach! Great menu options with seasonal choices as well. Ordered Americano, Breve Latte & Blackberry Chocolate Cortado. First place they've made the Americano drinkable within 5 min. THANK YOU.

Stopped by Bernie Bean and tried their banana coffee--super unique, pretty good but a little on the watery side. The empanadas hit the spot though and the whole place has such a cute, cozy vibe (love the decor!). Free Wi-Fi is a nice bonus. Just wish the drinks and food packed a bit more flavor, but the staff was really sweet. Cute spot overall!

I loveeeeee this place! This is our 2nd time here in a couple of weeks and let me tell you, I haven't been disappointed. Well.. maybe with 2 things and that's the vanilla loaf bread being soooo dry and the lady who brought my food out the first time was rude. The coffee's quality is amazing. Had the sweet potato special for fall and the Christmas flight this time and both were soo good! My husband got the pistachio fall one and loved it last time. We got an everything bagel each last time and when the lady came out with plain, I just mentioned that it was supposed to be everything and she got very offended by that and was like well you need to specify when you order at the front that and I said yes I said that when I ordered and she said it didn't get told to her that way. Okay whatever, I'll eat the plain bagel it's fine... there just wasnt a need for all that. I got the bagel sandwich, flight and a vanilla loaf and my total was 30 bucks! So just know it's a little $$$$ but def worth it! That bagel sandwich was *chefs kiss* and they did it with egg whites for me! Hope they open more locations up north.

Visiting from out of town. Such a cute coffee shop! They clearly make their drinks with love. Very friendly staff and the very best matcha ever! Pumpkin spice seasonal latte wasn't too sweet; delish! Give this place a try.

We were in town for a conference & it was one of the closest cafes to our venue. It was a chill little cafe. Went twice Service was a little slow but everything was flavorful. Parking is a little difficult, hope you can find a spot right out front

Good coffee shop conveniently located around multiple attraction. The ambiance was nice, with chill lounge music and people quietly on their laptops.

This is such a cute and vibrant shop, there pink decor and plants all around with the typical cafe music and seating spaced out to have a study session or chat with friends. The coffee was alright, not anything to be wowed over, perhaps I ordered the wrong ones ? No for the reason this is not 5 stars really was the service. The young women at the counter did not once say hello while we waited or even when taking our order. Just a " what can I get you ". I'm the kind of person who won't come back cause of bad service so don't go in with high hopes for that.

Vegan strawberry guava poptart made in house - this was so so good!

First time here and I loved it! I ordered the cinnamon french toast latte with oat milk. It was very good! They also had other dairy-free milk options. The matcha latte looks amazing, definitely want to try that next time. They have vegetarian and vegan options available as well. I tried the breakfast croissant sandwich with egg and swiss cheese on my first visit. It was filling and tasted like it was made to order. I also grabbed a beautiful homemade pop tart which also happened to be vegan (dairy-free). Like what?! Vegan poptarts make me happy. The drinks and decor were so cute. I work remote and the environment was very inviting, making me want to stick around but I didn't have time that day. I'm super excited to come back the next time I visit Dallas! Parking looks like it can be a bit of a challenge though, so keep that in mind. Highly recommend if you're in the Downtown Dallas area. Update: I visited again on my next trip to Dallas, and wanted to post some additional photos. I love the attention to detail the barista puts into the drinks they make. The menu is so creative!

    Empanadas

I come to Dallas periodically for work, and each time I've come to Berni Bean, it never disappoints! The staff are always friendly and the drinks are delicious. I appreciate that the syrups are made in-house. I've had the empanadas, the toast, and the bagel - all delicious (it's not often you are able to find great specialty lattes AND fulfilling hot breakfast food items). My favorite drink is the Bee Happy latte because of the pistachio - perfect amount of sweetness for me without tasting totally artificial. There is a good amount of seating to hang out and enjoy in and the pink decor is cute. I've only ever gone in the early mornings but the vibe is pretty chill and on the quieter side. Looking forward to coming back on the next business trip

Space cowboy DEFINITELY gives a kick but it's just enough if you want that boost! Would come back to work here, great space, available additional retail parking. I would happily eat either again without hesitation. Drinks: * 10 oz iced vanilla latte -- creamy, smooth, and made with quality-tasting beans. No complaints here. * 10 oz cappuccino (oat milk) -- tasty... but visually alarming. When the cappuccino arrived, it looked like it had been on a diet. A very strict one. I genuinely thought there had been a pouring mistake, so I politely asked at the counter. The response? "Yes, that's correct--it's supposed to be about 1 1/2 inches from the top." Reader, it was not 1 1/2 inches. It was more like "emotionally distant from the rim." I even slid the cup closer, hoping maybe perspective was playing tricks on me. Nope. Same answer. Same empty real estate at the top of the cup. Now, I understand cappuccinos aren't filled to the brim. I respect foam science. I honor espresso traditions. But this was bordering on half-cup energy at a full-cup price point. Photo included so you folks can be the judge
