We were on the hunt for a place that had a lot of seating, a good coffee menu and also sold pastries, and Otto's checked off all the boxes! I always say that when you are able to find front parking, also, you are exactly where you are meant to be, and somehow some way, we found just that! We both ended up ordering their wedding cake latte, that we later found out that changes colors based on whatever wedding they are hosting in the hotel they are located in. HOW COOL! The latte was FANTASTIC! I love when a coffee shop serves it in glass when you are deciding to sit for a bit! It felt so welcoming! I also decided to order their pound cake which was FANTASTIC! SO moist and perfect with my latte! However, the true star of the show has to be the ambiance! It's located in downtown in the Adolphus hotel and it is STUNNING inside! You truly get a city coffee shop experience at OTTO's! They had plenty of chairs and tables, as well as plugs! Which made our visit that much more great! Staff is truthful and honest. For instance, someone dropped their drink and they remade it with no problem whatsoever. It's hard to find a coffee place like that. I find that to be a reason to return as accidents do happen and some coffee places will charge you again for an accident. Some of the food items can appear high in price but other than that, they were good.

It was a great place to just take a breath and enjoy the morning. The sun shone brightly through the front windows. It was hard not to smile here. I ordered an iced dirty chai latte, my go-to, and this came out superb. I also got an Abuela's Cake -- it just looked too good to pass up! My colleague and her boyfriend got some of their specialty drinks: a Cinnamon French Toast Latte and a Banana Latte. They were impressed by their drinks as well. If I lived in Dallas, Berni Bean would definitely be a favorite. And if I come back, I'll be stopping by again.
