    a cold brew sign

This place is Open, Open!! CiboDivino is literally a refreshing corner cafe. I admit that I'm a coffee snob. Iced coffee drinks have been my jam this year. The barista recommended the cold brew. It hit the spot especially during at hot summer in downtown Dallas. I couldn't stop eyeing the pastry case. A chocolate chunk and salted caramel white chocolate cookie came back to the office with me. I took advantage of the friendly staff and asked about lunch options. I was told the pizza, chicken salad and soups are all hits. Oh joy! I'm so happy to find another option for good food that is waking distance from my office. See ya soon CiboVino!

This place was on my watchlist for months!!! They final had their opening this past week and I was super excited to try it since it's so close to my work place. Nothing beats a freshly hot poured cup of coffee pared with a nice treat to calm your nerves for the day or even a nitro cold brew to help you battle your way through the rough ones! Food for breakfast lunch and dinner Or just a casual wine company after work social because they got plenty of room inside and outside on their gorgeous outside patio for everyone! Make sure to stop by and give this beautifully built and well thought out cafe! Cheers to the owners on a job well done!

Such a cute place to grab coffee downtown and do a bit of work. It's always pretty quiet and never extremely busy which is just so odd to me lol. They've been here for awhile now, but it's like no one knows they're here. They also have space that's available for venue rental. I totally give the food five stars. The chicken is always so good. And their coffee is amazing. They also have wine by the glass available and I likes me a nice lunchtime drink. All in all, I like this location because it's not far from me, and right next to my best friends job - so we come often. The only thing that bothers me is that they have limited hours (M-F from 7a-7p) but I'm assuming it's just because it's in Bryan Tower. **Side note: This location is much different than the Sylvan Thirty location off of 30, which I was NOT impressed with at all. The menu and vibe is COMPLETELY different and that one smelled like mildew when I went. The cashier was also super uninterested in her job, and they had no coffee choices. It was just weird and I actually ended up leaving, so make sure to go to the downtown one lol.

Best place downtown for lunch, the panini/soup combo is excellent. Ask for Mimi, you will be treated like family!!

My first experience here wasn't the best, so I was curious to see how a second visit would compare…read more A friend was moving out of town and wanted to come here, so I decided to give it another try and order completely different dishes. We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I'd love to return with my husband sometime.

The restaurant was very busy, the acoustics made it had to have a conversation and hear each other. Food was wonderful, I had the chicken Parmesan on recommendation from our server and it was phenomenal. Others in our party enjoyed their food as well.

Pretty good. Always drove past the place I wanted to try it out. I remember reading about the name…read morechange fiasco. Came for 6pm dinner rez with my husband. I have plenty of parking in the back. Ordered the chilled crab claw appetizer and the portion was very generous. The crab meat was a bit firmer and drier than I expected, though that may simply be due to it being served chilled. Overall, we enjoyed it. For entrees, we shared the casino linguine vongole (clam pasta)- they split this on 2 plates for us, and chicken parm vodka (forgot to take a photo). Both were very good! We couldn't finish the entrees and so we put them in to-go boxes. I feel like they tasted even better the next day, lol. Service was great!

Wow. Worst service ever. Our waiter "greeted" our table with "shall I get you a bottle and five…read moreglasses?" Presumably meaning wine, but we were considering cocktails and a bit confused by the question. He said "I'll come back when you're ready," and disappeared for the first of many long absences. From the beginning it felt like we were ruining his life. He was cheerless and curt and wouldn't make eye contact with anyone. It would be more understandable if the restaurant was super busy or understaffed. But this was Monday at 6 pm. We listed a birthday on the reservation, but it wasn't acknowledged. Why bother to ask if we are celebrating? We waited for empty plates and glasses to be cleared between courses. We waited a long time for him to return so we could order a second glass of wine. Even longer for the plates to be cleared and longer still for the opportunity to order dessert...a piece of cake for the birthday girl and two after dinner drinks...but the drinks weren't picked up from the bar when the cake was delivered, and only remembered when we asked for the check. We watched him pick them up (well after the cake was consumed) on his way to leave the bill. No mention that they had been overlooked, no thank you, no good night. This was our first time at Barsotti's and it will be our last. Aside from the awful service, we had issues with the food as well. The veal was pounded paper thin and fried hard resulting in a tough, chewy texture similar to dried beef or jerky. It was dry and overcooked on two different dishes. On a more positive note, we enjoyed the fried ravioli appetizer and the redfish was fine. While our waiter was largely MIA and unpleasant when he did show up, the bus boy/assistant was gracious and attentive. Maybe he was trying to compensate for his colleague. BTW, the offensive employee was in his late 40s to mid 50s with a slight build and salt and pepper hair.
