I had a pasta dish when I came a year ago and it was as good as just about any I've had, including in Italy. This latest visit, I had the New York strip and it was excellent. I am usually unimpressed with the steaks served at restaurants, but this was of a sufficiently high quality that I throughly enjoyed it. And while it was steak, the kitchen's skill was shown through the excellent sauce that accompanied it. The service was attentive, including the host staff who graciously moved us outside. I was quite pleased on that front. Ambiance/decor is fine. But the inside of the restaurant is loud. Like, really loud. If you're hard of hearing like my mother, it will be impossible to talk inside. And if you don't like practically yelling to communicate, it will be uncomfortable. There were also issues with their AC this visit so it was stuffy inside. These (hopefully one-off) issues notwithstanding, I would definitely go back to Il Bracco and probably will in the future.

There was not enough salt and I had to add chili flakes to give it some more flavor, I've honestly had better spicy vodka pastas elsewhere. This may be a dish that is overhyped in my opinion. -Italian Sundae; the dessert was actually quite exceptional here, featuring a sundae with homemade Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, extra virgin olive oil, chopped pistachios, fresh whipped cream, and sea salt, I highly recommend ordering this if you have a sweet tooth but like a bit of savory in your dessert Ambiance: -A sleek and elegant design to their interior with intimate booths, full service bar, and patio dining Service: -The service definitely could've been better. It's hard to find Real carbonara out anymore. I don't know if it's the eggs in there that restaurants or people are worried about it but I don't have a problem with that at all. All that said, this was a great dish. Had the chicken carbonara with fettuccini and it could not have been done better. It was a special that night and I hope the put it on the menu permanently. Drinks were good as well. I'll be back. More often if carbonara gets on the menu :-)
