Love the passion from Mr Palmieri. The quality is evident - coffee roasted in house as well as homemade pasties and gelato. I had a latte with SF caramel. My entire group enjoyed their drinks.

Let me tell ya something. You have likely never had the privilege of enjoying a pusty (pasticciotti) unless you've been to the booming metropolis of Utica, NY or to southern Italy's Puglia region. This place has them and should get one. The farmer's market dining hall in which this little cafe is found is reminiscent of a dining hall in Europe. It's amazing. Parking in the area is atrocious. Just suck it up and pay for a lot. Trust me, the pusty is worth it.

It's located in the farmers market here and I am guessing it's open all year round. One can take a coffee or boba from nearby shops and take a chair in the sun. I ordered regular Cappuccino with whole milk, and was ready in surprisingly quick time. Appearance, if you see the photos is no where close to other craft coffee shops. Looked more like the one from Starbucks or Panera bread. Quick service with no attention towards art. Serving size was 12 oz which would make it more milkier than usual. So, I was basically drinking coffee flavored milk. Needless to say, this visit was a disappointment considering I was excited to see an Italian cafe. Ambience: farmers market, which is always a fun place Barista skills : 1/5 Beans: 3/5, if this beans is used well, I'll possibly get a taste of Milan. But unfortunately, I was drinking coffee flavored milk.

Cute little shop, not a lot of parking, but there is some off street parking in front and around back. I always get to-go, but there's a patio space for seating should you be passing through. I'm always tempted to get the affogato, but haven't just yet so I'll have to come back for that. Service is always good with patient staff bc I don't ever know what I want when I walk in. The chicken rosemary calzone is really good; if you like olives I think it's worth a try. When in bishop arts again I'll definitely be back.

I would so love to give Palmieri a higher rating because some of its items, as well as the service, truly do deserve it. The problem is consistency--there are some items are wayy underwhelming, so it takes some trial and error (and luck) to know what to get. I ordered an amaretto (black cherry) pasticiotto, a chocolate cornetto (croissant) and an iced latte. The croissant and the iced latte were phenomenal and I would definitely come back for those. Possibly even every day. The buttery, distinct layers to the croissant were such a pleasant surprise. The flavors in the latte were beautiful, with all the flavor from the espresso while still maintaining a certain subtlety. New place to treat myself on a weekend morning?? The pasticiotto was the disappointment. A pasticiotto should be a soft, fluffy pastry filled with delicately flavored cream. It shouldn't have a crumb to it, but it definitely should not have been as gooey as this one was. I think it was overfilled with cream on top of being underbaked. I hear the pasticiottos here are normally okay, so I wouldn't be opposed to trying again the next time I go. Go try it out, and make sure to check in on Yelp to take 10% off your order!

Nice start to hump day. There have been so many new "sweet shops" opened around Dallas in the last few years,I decided I'd better try a few. Next up on my list, is Palmeris. I found myself in this part of downtown on business so, decided to partake in a coffee and pastry. Palmieri came up with good temperatures on Yelp so, I went for it. Its located in the Gentrified area called Farmers Market. In my childhood this was a real working farmers market and you could come here on any day of the week and find a selection of common foods, from fresh vegetables to meat and everything in between. Now it's been enclosed and spaces rented to food stalls and shops. Nice area. Most businesses were still closed when I arrived at about 920am. I searched for a while until I found Palmieri cafe. I didn't realize it was a walk-up. No harm though, they have an excellent staff of three waiting to expertly help you. I ended up ordering a Cappucino and Cornetto. The Cappucino was perfectly prepared and placed in a Real Cup for my pleasure. A Cornetto is a pastry made with eggs, butter, water, and sugar, then filled with pastry cream. I have to admit. For almost $5 I expected more. The flavor of the bread was fairly average and I expected a bite of richness. The cream filling was almost nonexistent. They could improve here. I would say if you are here and in the mood for a coffee or pastry give them a try. Otherwise, I don't think id go out of my way to get here!

One of my favorite cafe's in the Dallas area. Drinks and food were great! I ordered the matcha latte and probably one of the best i had in Texas. My wife ordered the gingerbread latte and that did not disappoint as well. The service and the vibe of the cafe was great as well! Definitely will be coming back

Small cafe just next to Paradiso! The service is great and the coffee is strong, very strong! What else do you want!

It was a bit confusing finding this coffee shop because it is actually located within the Dallas Farmers Market. It is near an entrance/exit, so if you have trouble locating it, just walk the perimeter of the inside of the Dallas Farmers Market building, and you'll surely run into it eventually. I got a Soy Lavender Latte, which was absolutely divine! It was probably one of the best lattes I've had to date. The lavender isn't overpowering and compliments the coffee so well. The coffee itself was very aromatic and without any lingering sour aftertaste. Employees are very friendly and willing to customize almost every single drink offered on their menu. I highly recommend coming here if you need a dose of caffeine! If I didn't live so far away, I'd be here every single day to grab a cup of coffee!

Great spot for a quick cup of coffee. Their espresso was strong and full bodied, so it made a nice iced americano. Will be back!

I started with the croque monsieur, and it was exactly what I was craving. The cheese was perfectly melted and bubbly, and that hint of dill on top really pulled it all together. For dessert, the chocolate kouign-amann was a total standout, super crispy on the outside with those rich, sweet layers inside. Staying open late worked in my favor as I got through DJing a show. The establishment is modeled like it's someone's house who just wanted to turn it into a food spot. Very welcoming, the lady at the register who took my order was nice. While every selection made it hard for me to choose from, I ended up going with the Cloud 9 - butterscotch, caramel, brown sugar meringue. I took the slice to go as I was heading back to Tulsa. It was so good. Every bite. I couldn't get enough. The combination of those 3 components went well together. As I was looking up the menu on their website, I noticed that none of the selections were the same from when I had my slice. That indicated to me that they have a rotating menu. That's going to make me a returning customer because I can have something new to look forward to.

The blueberry scone was fresh and although I only pinched a small bite from it, I could tell it was moister and more flavorful than most, well done! I wanted to try the Chocolate Kouign Amann, since I had no idea what it was, lol. It was packed with chocolate, but it wasn't fresh, the wonderful flaky pastry was rock hard. And now the quiche - I wanted SO much to love it - it was bursting with ham and the pastry looked lovely. But the pastry was SO hard that I couldn't even cut into it! I wanted to eat it with a fork but had to pick it up to bite the top part, since it was like wood. And the entire bottom of the quiche was drenched - when I bit into a bite from the lower part, all this water came squirting out - every bite that touched the bottom part of it was squirting water! I was so grossed out, why was this happening? Unlike my fave place La Madeleine, they only send you a slice, so sadly that was my one and only experience with Village Bakery quiche.
