Almond Croissant Butter Croissant Pain au Jambon

I absolute love this place for all things bakery! Been here three times already and never had a problem with anything there. I mainly go for their pastries so I have not tried the other items they have there but I will have to soon. It does get really busy at times but the wait has never been too much at all. It is small with a few seating areas so it is best to get your things to go unless it's not busy. I really recommend this place and for sure will be coming back!

Awesome pastries for everyday adventures. Service is always quick and kind. The fresh smells are always appreciated and show how fresh their breads and goods are! Can be a bit busy in the mornings but if you find to time to sit and eat inside when it's quiet you'll find the staff's little noise and chit chat music to your ears as you relax.

Such a cute place, tried the salty maple cold foam, paired perfectly with ice latte! Staffs are very patient and attentive!

Best Boulangerie on Greenville Ave. The shop is small, but the selection is fantastic. We were greeted by a friendly staff who were so patient as we tried to decide. Everything was fresh, made with real milk, butter, etc. So good!

Adorable Shop with Amazing Prices! Village Baking Company is such a cute spot! It's super reasonably priced--two coffees and a cookie for just $11? Absolute steal. Super friendly workers too. The shop itself is cozy and inviting, with so many delicious-looking pastry options to choose from. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. This place is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

Croissants - almond, bacon jalapeños, bacon, jambon, spinach feta, pretzel! (September, 2021)

Village Baking's Saving Grace is their Canele de Bordeaux, as scrumptious as ever! Dry though were their non-flaky croissants! Messy was the service, forgetting our lattes order and wrong pastries boxed! Crazy busy it was on this late Saturday morning! Packed at their patio and cluttered at their stand only counters! With this experience, I doubt I will be coming back here anytime soon! cheers!

The croissant was very buttery. The tart's shell held up instead of becoming soggy which was very impressive.

Veggie Quiche - Slice

GET THE QUICHE!! So goooood! My favorite is the veggie one - lots and lots of mushrooms. I believe is mushroom and spinach. If you don't love mushrooms then it might not be for you. However, the quiche lorraine is also good. I just don't prefer it as it can sometimes taste too fatty for me. If you are getting it heated, make sure they heat it all the way through. I have had multiple occasions where it's only toasty on the outside and then it's good on the inside.

Cute cafe! Pastries are beautiful and taste good, matcha is just okay. Prices are high but as expected for the area.

My cousin and I stumbled across this bakery because we were just looking for a drink, but we were pleasantly surprised with all the delicious looking pastries. As soon as we walked in We were greeted with a friendly smile and welcome. We really love this place because of the customer service. The drinks were fabulous and we had such a great conversation with some of the customers who walked in as well as the employees. Everyone was just so nice. Not only that the coffee that we got was so good and they have alternate milk options for your coffee. The oat latte was definitely a hit!!! You can also order your pastries warmed up so you can enjoy that with your coffee. They do have juices as well since it's not only just coffee. This bakery is located right in the heart of lower Greenville. Parking is around the area or you can just park on the streets. Overall this is a wonderful place to stop by I definitely recommend it!

Beautiful French pastries are the special of the day at Village Baking - where you can also get fresh delicious sandwiches! The line moves quickly with efficient knowledgeable service in a charming setting on Lowest Greenville. Great place to sit on the patio and people-watch - except it was 95* when we dropped in. Another time!! We came in for traditional French caneles, which we saw yesterday on the World Feed of the Tour de France. Not as dark as the one Anthony and Nico had, these were just as creamy and decadent - the mark of bakers who know what they are doing and respect tradition. 5 Taste of France in Dallas, y'all stars!

I have been trying to get to this place for weeks, but my daughter made we wait for her to come back to Dallas for a visit. Thank goodness she finally made it! It was well worth the wait! We got there late in the day, so they had sold out of a great deal of items, but I still managed to rack up a pretty hefty check! Lol! 1. The Laminated Brioche was like a pillow of Heavenly cinnamon and sugary dough. Its like if a croissant & a cinnamon roll had a baby! 2. I'm forever in love with the Croissant Loaf 3. Almond Croissant was very moist and flavorful 4. Zucchini Bread w/ a little butter was Ahhhmazing! 5. Baguette is a must have! It was fresh, great for warm buttered bread or any sauce Whenever you get a chance- please take the time to visit one of their locations soon! It's really a great bakery with awesome staff!

It was right after a furry convention happening at my hotel, so it was definitely crowded, but you wouldn't have known it by how smoothly everything was running. There were only two people at the register and two making drinks, yet the service moved quickly and efficiently. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. We both started with black coffees, which we prepared ourselves, and everything was fresh and exactly what we needed. Later, I went back and tried their strawberry, banana, peanut butter smoothie made with almond milk, and wow. Usually, banana overpowers everything in smoothies, but somehow they balanced it perfectly. I could actually taste every single fruit, which felt like magic. The prices were very reasonable, and I even grabbed a croissant for my walk back to the hotel, which was a nice little bonus. The location is beautiful, and while the space itself is on the smaller side, it more than makes up for it with comfortable and ample seating. The overall vibe, combined with top-notch service, made this such a great experience. I can't wait to come back again.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

There were tons of mushrooms and creamy flavor. By far one of the best grilled cheeses I ever had. Banana horchata matcha: This drink was very sweet and good for people that dont like bitter drinks. I loved the banana flavor and it reminded me of banana bread. There was also a lot of cinnamon in the drink which made it so tasty.

A Must‑Try Donut Truck at Klyde Warren Park!…read more We stumbled upon this donut truck at Klyde Warren Park while in the area expecting a quick snack, and instead walked away having tried every single flavor they offered. Yes, every one -- and honestly, it was worth it! Each donut was fresh, and crafted with the kind of care you can actually taste. The flavors weren't just different; they were thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly creative. One of the biggest highlights was the vegan Neapolitan donut. Vegan options can be hit or miss, but this one was so good we had to double‑check it was actually vegan. It had the same rich, indulgent flavor and perfect texture as the regular donuts -- no compromise, no "good for vegan," just good, period. It was one of those rare treats that makes you rethink what vegan baking can be. If you're anywhere near Klyde Warren Park, do yourself a favor and stop by this truck. It's the kind of place that turns a simple donut run into a memorable moment -- and we'd go back in a heartbeat. My kids have already asked a few times, ha!

The other donuts I ordered were decent, but I don't think I'd purchase them again. The classic donut was okay; it was a little too cakey/bready for my liking. Although I liked the flavors of the yuzu & matcha mini, because of the smaller size, the ratio of cream/curd to donut was overpowering. Lastly, again, i liked the flavors of the pistachio cannoli, but it was too sweet and the cream was dry. Overall, I'd still go again and I'd love to try the other flavors. I love the creativity!
