I want to start this review off by stating that I am usually a drink chugger and thus go through…read morecoffee very quickly. I drink coffee daily, and will drink just about anything. Lately, I've been into iced lattes with chocolate flavoring but my usual go to is a basic cortado (should have ordered that instead). I couldn't tell you what was wrong with the drink, but I can tell you that I must not have liked it very much considering I didn't have the urge to chug it. I also don't really want to finish it. I think maybe the flavoring of the syrup is stronger than the taste of the espresso and this is why I think I should have ordered my usual. I did sit in the cafe and the vibe is really neat and clean. The seats are comfortable and there are plenty of places to sit down. The walls are basically just big windows which is great for a people-watcher such as myself. The music is a little loud, which isn't a problem for me because I am not doing anything remotely productive but had I been here expecting to get work done, I'm not sure I would have succeeded. The people were super nice when I ordered and I even watched them go around and clean the surfaces which is always a good sign. As I look around, I notice that everyone else sitting in the cafe has mostly half consumed beverages that have been sitting awhile (they look a little watered down). Maybe I just don't like the espresso which is a preference thing. I'd say definitely give it a try and see if you like it. Not sure I'll be back, personally. Also, the music is definitely getting louder. This is my queue to leave.

The latte was actually pretty good.. Now for the puff stuffed pastries. Those were just so doughy and not enough meat.. Maybe next time I'll grab myself a muffin or a croissant. But overall the place is nice and clean and the service was very polite.

I went to visit their original location on Northwest Hwy. conveniently located right next to the Dallas Police Northwest Division. Fun fact: did you know that they have a roastery next to their original location? How amazing! However, that one is by appointment only, so check with them for more details. Shoutout to the White Rock Coffee staff for welcoming us back with open arms, as well as introducing new drinks to us that were of high demand and interest. One, however, that really did catch my eye, was my all time-favorite: the White Rocker, which included two shots of espresso, whole milk, and their signature White Rock syrup. My friend on the other hand, got the Lone Star Latte -- chai with a hint of that White Rock syrup that they put in there as well! Because of their roastery, all of their coffee beans are sourced from local partners and cooked and roasted right here in the heart of Dallas. I'm just really glad that I was able to really catch up with the times that there are, honestly. I'll definitely be back to visit more whenever I'm in the DFW! Y'all have my support! :)

The coffee had just the right amount of sweetness, and the oatmeal cream pie was the standout. My daughter and I both loved it and would definitely come back just for that. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made. The staff were very friendly, and there was plenty of comfortable seating inside. Parking was also easy, which made the visit even more convenient. Overall, a great little find. I'll definitely be back to try more treats soon!

While both were good, I especially enjoyed the flavor of the mushroom one. The florentine tasted a little bit more plain than I like. The portions were surprisingly generous, which was a nice bonus. I also picked up an egg and pepper kolache and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and the kolache actually ended up being my favorite item of the meal. There was a steady flow of customers the entire time I was there, which says a lot about the place. The staff were all friendly and easy to talk to. I really liked the décor and relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to sit back and enjoy my breakfast. I'll definitely be back to try more things.
