Foxtrot is a cute grocery store / coffee shop nestled just north of the Knox/Henderson area, close to SMU. They offer various products you wouldn't necessarily find in your chain grocery store, but rather things you'd find in a local market or Trader Joe's. The items can be on the pricier side, but the selection is fantastic. I ordered from their cafe menu the following: -Iced Strawberry Matcha Latte (featuring strawberry puree and simple syrup over milk of choice) -Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast ($14.50, either this or a house) Overall the food and drinks were good, but I would say the price is a bit high for the quality and you can probably find the same/equivalent matcha and avocado toast at La La land for cheaper. However, the inside of the cafe has a nice ambience, and I would definitely bring my laptop or book to work/read during the day sometime. I'd also like to try the iced pistachio cream top matcha next time. read more

I've heard so many great things about Foxtrot, so I decided to finally give it a try. I ordered an iced apple cider chai, which was fun and different for the fall season. The apple cider flavor overpowered the chai, but it was still enjoyable nonetheless. I stopped by on a Saturday afternoon to read my book, and the atmosphere was lively but not too loud. There were plenty of people coming and going, and there were some working. The place is bright and spacious with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, along with a large group table in the back. Parking was tricky. There's a garage, but the gate wasn't working when I came. I was thankfully able to snag a parking spot next door, but it was really packed since the parking is shared with nearby stores and restaurants. Love this place! I have been in before to explore the market side of everything with snacks and such but this was my first time getting coffee. I got the iced pistachio cream top latte and it was so yummy! I also got a bacon breakfast taco and it was a good size and so delicious! I will be back for sure! read more

THANK GOD THEY ARE BACK OPEN! Not even being dramatic, this is my favorite coffee shop in Dallas and I was so devastated when they closed this location. So happy they are back and better than ever. This location has a lot of seating available and a good amount of outlets to charge your devices. I love the floor to ceiling windows and natural lighting this place gets--Truly one of my favorite spots to do work. To be honest, I've never had their espresso, but their matcha is incredible. I love it. I've also sat here to get some work done and had a glass of wine/ beer. If you buy alcohol from here, you can open it and enjoy while you are sitting down. read more

Perfect little market for the coffeeshop foodie. OMG the selection of meats alone stole my heart. My kids loved the little made lunch boxes. Love that they don't just cut the matcha with sugar so when you order matcha you actually get the earthy taste and you can even tell they don't skimp on matcha by the deep green color. Expected to find Monsieur Hulot walking around trying to apply for a job amidst the vast architecture that is Hilltop Plaza. Foxtrot adheres to every trend common with a coffee establishment of the last few years in tandem with an upscale grocery store. I don't think anyone is gonna buy that family-size box of Cheerios off the cereal shelf here, but you never know... You do, however, know what you're getting, so keep your expectations where they are, right on the level. The food itself is designed for any specific hangover you might be experiencing, given it's relation to a college campus, but the high sodium and calories are given in small enough proportions that exclaim 'health conscious'. Outdoor seating puts you right on the periphery overlooking Snider Plaza, where you can grumble at how much has changed or relish in the progress being made. As a coffee shop, there's nothing to complain about here, but there also isn't a whole lot of character or personality. This also seems to be the type of place where you bring your laptop and study/work, which is kind of a bummer if you're trying to escape office vibes for the weekend. We come here all the time. They have a great patio so we are here all year round. The drinks are great, the atmosphere is laid back. Normally love this place. I went last year and got the cherry seasonal latte which got me hooked on this place. This time of year they don't really have anything good and since their menu is pretty limited , this place is kind of a hit or miss for most. Unfortunately, as of recently they run out of food pretty early in the day? which I didn't know could happen, especially since they have few things to order from you think they'd be able to keep in stock till at least the evening?. It is frustrating to come and have nothing you want to order off the menu be in stock. Service is not the best, the people behind the counter really don't care about anything and won't help accommodate you if somethings wrong.
