Choctaw Stadium is like the cool uncle of sports venues--used to be a baseball park, got a makeover, and now it's trying new things like football, rugby, and rooftop cocktails. I didn't go for a game, just wandered through, but even without a crowd it had that big Texas energy. You can feel the history in the bones of the place--like it's still whispering old Rangers games to itself while gearing up for a rugby scrum or high school football showdown. The architecture is part ballpark, part modern facelift, and part "we're figuring it out as we go." I kind of loved it. It was quiet the day I visited, but the views were wide open and the breeze rolled through like it had season tickets. From the upper deck, you can see the whole Arlington entertainment zone laid out like a buffet--Texas Live!, AT&T Stadium, all of it. I've always been a fan of this ball stadium. I recall when it was just Arlington Stadium, before it became sponsored. It's been around for a while, the brick ball park is becoming a thing of the past. When the Rangers moved across the street, I was excited to know that they weren't taking this one down. It's a beautifully aged ball park. One memory is of being in the park for opening day of the Rangers where they set a record for the coldest opening day for the Rangers at 31 degrees. It was cold, but it was fun. The vendors are plentiful and the views are great. Walking up top, you can look over the brick wall and see across the area, it's a beautiful view. The baseballs out front are a great touch. A lot the outside accessible areas are becoming restaurants, stores, and offices. It's still a beautiful ball park. read more

Went for high school football game Friday. $15 parking plus tax ?! Really ? Bad info in where to park and enter. Said we could enter at any gate. Wrong. Said there would be employees to assist with people that needed assistance. Wrong. First base side box office open but not the entrance ! Wtf ?Rude employees in box office. Told to go enter at center field. Wrong. Very helpful lady there but no entry. Told to go to third base side. Finally someone knew what they were talking about. Very Rude jerks at the check in. Bathroom was disgusting. Filthy toilets. Floor covered in water. Gouging at the concession stands. This is high school not a professional event. Poorly run venue with rude incompetent employees. I am pleasantly surprised just how well organized and clean this stadium is! Security and checkpoints were easy to manage and once you were inside the options were endless. I came here for Lady Gaga's Chromatica Ball and tbh it was a great venue space. Our seats were in Section 117 and they were in such close proximity to bathrooms, multiple food and alcohol spots, and the merch area. Bathrooms were super well maintained and I like how they had dedicated beer to-go stands throughout, food spots sold beer, and they had a liquor bar nearby. I can see how this stadium has such a large appeal with it being less than a decade old. I'm even tempted to go to a baseball game now just because of how much fun I had. read more

I've been going to baseball games since I was a small child. I've been to a few different Baseball stadiums/fields but when I walked into this executive suite it changed my life. When I tell you I felt like a Queen getting Royal treatment from the staff. They made sure everything we needed was there and they really just rolled out the red carpet. I will never be able to sit in the nosebleed section ever again. All jokes aside. I came to this stadium for a company outing. We took charter buses from the hotel and were walked right up to the door of the suite. When the doors opened there was all kinds of goodies and delicious food. This venue is super cool! I highly recommend going to a game! Rangers lost against the National's but it was a great time. We felt safe and secure in the venue. We will absolutely check this place out again. read more

Beautiful breath taking stadium! When I arrived, I was amazed at how quickly this stadium was built. So gracious to see something like this come together. Parking is conveniently located across the street. However, the rows are not labeled. Make sure you look for a landmark to help you find your car. You might end up looking for your car the whole night! Stadium was semi cool. Actually, it was a bit warm especially wearing a mask bc of Covid. My skin was sticking to the seat. That's concerning bc, it going to be a hot summer! Theres an assortment of foods. Hot dogs, pizza and ice cream seem to be a fan favorite! They have Bbq and there's even a Golden chick! I was satisfied sitting in section 103 but, after awhile my bottom was hurting. They are not very comfortable but, they come with a drink holder in front of you which,is pretty low for you to reach your drink . It's a great view and your able to see the big screen as well. I noticed there was a bit of an echo too but, overall it was a very clear sound. So thankful for Globe Life Field Stadium but, make sure your remember where you park, dress cool and bring your appetite! read more

So sad to see a great a ballpark end its carrer. I have been going to see the rangers play since i was in the 4th grade and i sure got lots of fond memories of this place. I remeber my dad bringing me and my siblings to our first rangers game and everything after that is history! Over the years the name has changed but the spirit and love of baseball has not! Lets break this down bits by bits, first parking. There are lots of parking lots run by the rangers and most take cash and card but just to be sure i always carry cash. They post how much they charge on a sign before you enter the park so dont be fooled. The city of Arlington does allow businesses and residents that live in the proximity of the cultural district to sell their own parking spots so if you drive a little further away and dont mind walking you can find parking for a rangers game for as little as 5 or 10 $. **Life hack** I have a season pass to six flags with free parking so if i have tickets to a Rangers game I go to six flags, park my car there. Depending on the game I may go ride the rides before or after the game. Dont feel bad about this because six flags sells their parking for rangers games too so dont hate the player hate the game. Outside food and drinks are allowed inside the ballpark but no alcoholic drinks and no glass containers. They dont allow giant coolers but a nice backpack will do just fine. I usually bring my own water and snacks and just buy one or two things inside the ballpark. **Life Hack** if you walk on the ground floor towards home base you will see guest service and next to it you will see a 'designated driver booth'. If you sign up and promise not to drink and drive you get a voucher for a free soda at a rangers concession stand. I always do this and it just gives me an extra drink, the vouchers can be redeem anytime in the season but I am usually always thirsty so i redeem them that day. If you buy tickets online and choose to pick them up at will call you can go to any window the day of the game and pick them up. If you go the day before only the ticket windows on first base are open. (they are across the street from Texas live). If you go to a game with a promotion make sure to get there early because those promotion items go by qucik. There are also plenty of store selling merchandise and if you wait till the end of the season they have some great deals on items due to them being 'out of season'. Some of the bathrooms have AC and some others dont. Some have more elbow room compared to others. There are certain vendors that sell dollar blue bell ice cream (usually near the outfield). Also, make sure to stick around on Friday nights after the game to see the firework show. Also, you get a chance to run the bases, just wait till after each game is over and an announcer will come on and announce where to meet. Well, there is soo many other things why the ballpark is great but i think yall get where i am going with this review. This was on the vacation list of things to do while in the area. TAKE our daughter {9 months} to her first Rangers game.... So glad we visited. The Rangers played the Mariners in a warm night at the park! Stadium experience is awesome! We had all you can eat seats. In the homerun porch... So much food to choose from the variety is what I was impressed with.....( Peanuts, popcorn, nachos, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches, burgers, sodas) all the condiments/toppings. Bathrooms were easy to get in and out. Fan shops all over the stadium. All the workers had smiles on their faces and were happy to help with anything! The temperature was hot and the AC was comfortable in the eating lounge. They had a bar up in the lounge area also bar staff was phenomenal.... the overall experience was superb! I would love to return..... I love baseball baseball and I like the Stadium. They are building a new one across the street I do appreciate the staff at the stadium for providing a super fantastic experience. I can't wait til next time to visit! First concert (of maybe 200 over 45 years) I was ever threatened to be thrown out of! Seriously... First major concert in the re-purposing of this MLB stadium as its replacement is built next door! The act was the nearly ageless Sir Paul McCartney (77 years old). The temperature was in the 80's with slight breeze. No rain despite recent days of huge storms! The stage was set up in deep center field and the infield was enclosed in a protective barrier. A plastic flooring (to protect the outfield) was set up for those lucky enough to get floor seating near the stage. All else sat in the regular stadium seats(or boxes) which made the video screens essential. Access to the field/floor seating were from steps in a few locations along 1st and 3rd base. A wrist band was used to help improve visibility to those allowed on the field. Concession support was in the traditional locations under the stands which was a long way for those in front of the stage. There were some adult beverage vendors walking throughout the stadium along with the daiquiri vendors with their very obstructive to vision drink carriers. Every so often, water vendors would come through. Traditional restroom support to those in the stands were readily available. Those on the field had access to some banks of portable toilets. Parking was the traditional lots minus the space where the massive new stadium was being built. The sound and special effects was perfect! Not having a roof allowed lots of fireworks and very impressive explosions of fire! The sound system was very good for the floor seating. I was on Row 19 in the center and it was an absolutely perfect show (seldom needed to look at the giant video screens on either side). Close enough for eye contact and to see Sir Paul grin. A couple of significant events made me consider dropping stars. The first was being told halfway through this rock and roll concert to sit down as my 6' tall frame was too tall and I was blocking the view of people behind me or I would be removed from the concert. Seriously? Sit down at a rock and roll concert at 19 rows from the stage? Does the staff realize that standing fans is something rock performers want to see?? Oh, and why was I and only a few others singled out when there were hundreds standing? I followed instructions for 2 songs and then joined the hundreds standing. If Sir Paul was going to stand, I would, too! The other event happened as the stadium floor crowd was leaving the field and standing in line for the limited number of stairs out. The crowd was half way off the floor and the ushers closed off many of the stairs! Easily added another 15 minutes trying to leave. What let them keep the 5 stars? it was Sir Paul McCartney's Concert which was over the top! read more

The 17th MLB stadium that my wife and I have been to together! Compared to all of the other MLB stadiums that we had been to together, this ballpark felt about average-size. It didn't feel small and cozy, but it also didn't feel huge either. I had seen this ballpark on TV for so many years and it looked exactly as I expected, so there weren't many surprises in person. The most unique aspects about the interior of the ballpark are without a doubt the white steel façade office building that overlooks center field and the roofed home run porch in right field, which is reminiscent of the old Tiger's ballpark, Tiger Stadium. As for the concession stands and concourse area, it was actually quite narrow at times, but then again we came for the Adrian Beltre retirement ceremony, so that game was more crowded than usual. For food, everything is definitely bigger here, especially the 2 lb chicken strips and foot-long corn dogs! Unfortunately, nothing really wow'd us about the stadium and compared to the other 16 that we had been to, it was somewhat middle of the road. Hopefully, in the new roofed stadium for the 2020 season, there will be a nice distinct feel to it that really makes it stand out more and gives it more of a 'wow' factor like the new stadiums that are being built. read more

My local ballpark - I'm sad to see this place not be the home of the Rangers after this season. Thankfully the park will still stand and host concerts etc... We have been making the most of the Final Season and trying to get as many games in as we can. We usually avoid day games due to the heat but actually did one the other week and it was fine as long as you were in the shade. Our go to games are Friday night Fireworks, the Rangers put on a good show, as well as Dollar Hot Dogs on Wednesdays and Dollar Ice Cream on Sundays. Parking is easy but kinda of pain at $20 now - I wish you could buy some kind of season parking pass. Security is easy, you can take in soft sided coolers - we usually take some snacks and sodas with us (no cans). Also they used to let you take your Swiss Army knives in, but no longer - we learnt that lesson!! read more

So we decided to give the XFL a try and cheer on the Arlington Renegades. Something to do on a beautiful Sunday. Tickets to the XFL game were remarkably inexpensive. Upon arrival at Choctaw Stadium, we paid more to park than we had for an individual ticket. However, it still dwarfed the price of going to most sporting events. The stadium itself is wonderful and still in great condition. They did a fantastic job converting it from baseball use to football use and it still had an excellent selection of concessions. We were very surprised by how inexpensive food and drinks were, for it being a sporting event. Beers for under $10 and food items similarly priced. The seating wasn't particularly comfortable, but that's because we chose the bleacher style seats closer to the field rather than the chair style seats. The staff was overall pretty good. However, it was a bit disappointing to see several staff members reprimand children from walking closer to get a better view. They weren't taking better seats, they were simply walking up to the fence line. Overall, great experience and we'll be back. read more

We attended a Twins Rangers game this weekend. The stadium is very nice and they have a retractable roof which was closed for the 97 degree day - perfect! We were very unimpressed with the food. The only Mexican food is nachos. The mac and cheese was thick like paste and not served very warm. The beef brisket sandwich was drive and only served with a small amount of BBQ sauce. But the container it is served in was so flimsy that I couldn't sit it on my lap as it twisted and almost pitched my food on the floor. Seats were pretty comfortable but we couldn't see the entire scoreboard from our seats. read more

So swayed to the American League, it was disheartening, very little to no Dodger pictures, recaps throughout the series, nothing!!! Seats were great, as you pay for them! Plenty of entertainment prior to games from corn hole in the bars, BBQ restaurants, game area for kids. Security is tight, which is good. They don't allow clear stadium bags allowed "read the post season rules" seriously who reads that, sucked, but I snuck them in anyway, makes No sense. Expensive food, drinks and beer. Clean bathrooms with no lines, well capacity was only 20% so that us to be expected. This is NOT one of my top 3 ballparks, sorry. read more

The concession stand was long, the pretzels are dry, the hot dog was not tasty, they tasted old, and their Die Dr. Pepper wasn't working. The game was great! When we went in, it was nice and cool and boy were we relieved. Texas summer baseball can be pretty rough. I've been to numerous games where the evening temps were very hot. Then low and behold, the roof starts moving and opening. I love that they can do that and we have the luxury of closing the roof for inclement weather but isnt the 147 degree weather with the heat index enough to keep it closed? We ended up sitting and starting to enjoy the game and then we were slapped up side the head with the heat wave. Then we were slapped again when we found out that we were in the wrong seats. We were in 139 when we were supposed to be in 138 and so we had to move. Bad thing is I just got back with our food and had to pick it all up and move with it. No the weather was not any better in the other seats. My hot dog was not the best. The bun was very dry and did not stay together. As humid as it was, you would think that would have been different. Not soggy. And boy oh boy, for someone who likes jalepenos, I sure got plenty on my hot dog. The one thing I noticed was that the seating feels a little tight to me. I know stadium seating is usually tight, but I really felt like a sardine. I couldnt use my elbows to help me eat my hot dog. I wont lie, we are Dodgers fans and have been for years. Being a Ranger fan is new to us. This park is not quite the same as going to Dodger Stadium but The new Texas Rangers ballpark is spectacular. We love the character you get when at Dodger Stadium. Do we feel that here? I am not quite sure yet. I don't think so. I do not the feeling about the parks are not quite the same. We love baseball so we will be back - it's just not our favorite park. Globe Life Park is home to the Texas Rangers...for now. I couldn't believe when I heard that they started constructing a brand new field for the Rangers called Globe Life Field. What's wrong with this one?? It has nice amenities, good location and is a fun place. The new ballpark (opening 2020) will have a retractable roof and I'm sure it'll be nice but I still really enjoyed GLP. When we arrived we got into a crowd of red, white and blue (Rangers colors) and being that it was July 3rd people were extra patriotic. Security was quick and painless and navigating the ballpark was easy. We got seats in Section 22 which were infield seats and in the SHADE which is what you really need to check before purchasing your seats. No one wants to deal with the hot summer Texas sun! A man came around to our section and all the sections around us and gave us a ton of coupons for food and for the Golden Chick dot dash (if you get a coupon for the color that wins you get a discount) I liked their beer selection at this park and they even were served in souvenir Rangers cups (which we kept for momentos from our trip!) Some of our friends we went with went to the Jack Daniels lounge and had some drinks there which they said were good. We got hot dogs later in the game which were decent but nothing to write home about. The only down side to our experience was really that when it got windy it stirred up some dust down on the field and created a mess of debris around the stadium for a few minutes. Overall a cool park but I will have to see what I think about the new GLF! Can't wait to see! read more

Overall the new baseball stadium is very nice. I have been to several games here. I removed one star for the very high prices of food and drink, but left 4 stars as the staff is mostly very friendly and helpful. There is plenty of (paid) parking available and getting in and out is managed very well by the Arlington PD. Overall, I would recommend coming to a ballgame here, might want to eat first, but water is allowed in, but alas, only one bottle per person. Despite the prices, I will be back because I love baseball. read more

It's kind of dwarfed by the Cowboys stadium which is funny because the stadium hides behind it sometimes in a sort of Stadium Eclipse - then even when the stadium is being eclipsed you can hear it squealing "I am a Stadium" from behind the baseball stadium. What a beautiful ballpark! In my quest to to see all 30 major league ballparks this was my first time visiting Globe Life. When I saw my Tigers were playing the Rangers, I grabbed tickets, snagged the fiancé, and drove our happy butts up to Arlington from San Antonio. The hotel we stayed at offered a free trolley to the game so we got there early and walked around. Everyone working here was friendly and even decked out in my Tigers gear everyone was all smiles. From what I could see there isn't a bad seat here. I did think the food and drinks were sky high but everything at sporting venues have gone up in price significantly the last few years. The quality of food here looked impressive though. The nachos and hotdogs both looked and smelled great. Since it was hot out we made our way to the Rebecca Creek bar near the entrance of the park. The bar was very nice inside and also serves food. The bartenders were friendly and made a pretty strong drink. After cooling down we made our way to the Tigers bullpen to watch them throw pitches. Even though my Tigers lost it was still a perfect night for baseball. Globe Life Park is a modern ballpark yet still holds on to that nostalgic baseball magic that you can feel. read more

What a night! This past Friday, I went to watch the NYY play the TX Rangers at Globe Life Park. It was a lot of fun and my team winning made it even better. These being the last few games to be played at this ballpark, a farewell seemed fitting. I've been here to watch the NYY play a few years back during Derek Jeter's last year playing MLB. Then recently found out about them closing down this ballpark for a new one " Globe Life Field" which opens in 2020 right across the street. Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX was opened in 1994 so not too long ago. But what they didn't think through was the TX weather which no surprise needs shaded seating. So I'll be looking forward to that for future games. But GLP is pretty darn amazing and Friday night was nothing less than perfect with great weather, fireworks and did I mention the NYY won! Loved it and I'm glad I got to see my last game there. Goodbye Globe Life Park. =) read more

While visiting Texas, I had an opportunity to go watch a ball game at Globe Life Park. The stadium was nice and big, since we arrived before the game, not too many people just yet. We went to see the field before going up to our suite. Beautiful evening, perfect for a ball game! We had Ferguson Jenkins Party Suite. It has indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is air-conditioned, and closed off with glass walls and doors from the outside. You can either stay in the cool air, or go sit outside to watch the game. The view from the outdoor seating is pretty nice, although I do enjoy the game from a spot that is closer to the home base. What about food? The food and beverage package at this suite had pretty good selection. We had hot and cold dishes. The cold dishes consisted of cheese & fruit platter and salad for healthier options. The hot foods selection was interesting, very Tex-Mex in my opinion. They had chicken fajitas with veggies, beef brisket with onion rings, chicken tender & wing combo. And ball game won't be complete without jumbo hot dogs! They were pretty good. The chickens and dogs were nice, but other food options were just a-ok. And yes, some desserts. They had lots of cookie & brownie tray. As for drinks, they had soft drinks, bottled water, canned beer and some wines. They had plenty of drinks of all kinds, we were well taken care of right here. They also had huge container filled with popcorn on the bar tables, which was great snacks with some ice cold beer. We had a fun time here at the Party Suite, such a nice way to watch the game on a hot day (or any day, really). Noisy, way to many adverts clashing with each other to take your money. It's an assault on the senses. When they built the last one they thought about green spaces. That park was praised for it's design. They slow walked maintenance to speed the spiel about building a new one. Now they've got their Vegas on the freeway and it's silicon and neon. The only green they thought about is the folding kind. I will miss seeing MLB baseball locally. Oh, watching the game is like watching a television with the brightness up too much. read more

I'm not an American League fan. I think pitchers should have to swing a bat. And, I'm proud to say that I am a Cardinals fan. More than anything, I'm a baseball fan. Globe Life is very nice, I'm glad I was able to see a game before they tore it to the ground. Although, the new facility looks good. Mid summer day games can get pretty damn hot, and as with all stadiums, shade is a luxury. When I go to games, I prefer to sit second level, just to see better. But, with the second level, you usually have club seating when behind home. Lexus Club seating is awesome. You are getting hit with the mid day sub, and the seats can be scalding hot if you don't sit much. But, this is definitely where the action is. Foul ball city!! Usually Globe Life is a fabulous place with magical moments. Tonight definitely wasn't the case, in fact, the customer service in the Capital One club was a big, fat thumbs down! The employee, Brian, who works in the Capital One club, was belittling and honestly flat out rude. Also our server was never around, I think I saw her maybe twice the whole time we were there. The only reason WHY I am giving this spot even two stars is because the food is really good in the capital one club. I absolutely loved the meat and cheese plate as well as the variety of deserts, that is always what I look forward to most when I come to the Rangers game. Overall, customer service needs a lot of improvement. I did not feel special and I felt as though I was a burden while I was there, and no guest should ever feel that way. Bad parking, great stadium. Every large parking lot in America has letters and/or numbers to designate different parking areas - to make it easier to find your car. But Arlington didn't get that memo, so you have to wander around looking like a homeless explorer. BAD PARKING. Fairly quick and easy to enter, even with the draconian security measures. Decent access to the overpriced food and drink. Nice views of the pristine diamond from most areas. Clean restrooms. Courteous staff. Baseball fanatics please catch a Rangers game at Globe Life Park! You can check this off your bucket list for perfect baseball ambiance whether TX is your team or not you will have the best time! Staff is incredibly friendly -- from the moment you enter the gates (note free Lexus parking across the street -- a $25 value -- get the sticker on your car ahead of time) you are greeted with "so glad you are here" and "enjoy the experience". A bobble head night made it even more fun! Beer stand and bar staff are friendly and the selections are super. Frozen fresh fruit margaritas and top shelf choices -- wowza! Ballpark food is impressive: giant Tx size hot dogs, killer jalapeño nachos, peanuts, Blue Bell ice cream served in a ball cap cup, refillable fountain drinks and many many other choices. The seats have great views and get there early for batting practice -- bring your glove! Ambiance is wonderful with giant screens everywhere, seats with legroom (!!), huge bathrooms with touchless everything and plenty of stalls in the ladies (a rare find at a park or any venue really), gorgeous club level (next on my bucket list) and the best part: the superb organ player who brings it!! Awesome music piped in at the right time (lots of humor in sound here when chats at the mound or an out they have the best music -- e.g hit the road jack by Ray Charles after a batter strikes out :) and screen chants to get the crowd into it at all times make some noise! Perfect family atmosphere or date night. Debating how to sneak away for a mid day game and ditch all obligations to hang out at Globe Life Park! Note: a huge shoutout to everyone who facilitated the vaccines at this venue -- y'all are heroes. That was my sneak preview of the park (along with Luminova during the holidays) and I couldn't wait to see a game here! read more

Go Rangers! I love watching our Rangers WIN live! A beautiful stadium this is! The service is great! Wonderful amenities at different clubs inside! When not in club or suite, there is such a variety of food offerings, arrive early so I can walk one time round in mentally choosing what to try other than my usual hot dog and peanuts for the game! Parking can be a pain, best is to purchase reserve parking; otherwise, beware of the awfully long wait while exiting at the public lots! My one huge complaint is that it can be insufferably hot in Globe Life Park! Up to low 80s is perfect under the sun, yet when it creeps up to 90s and above, it's not enjoyable whatsoever! Night games it is then but it's not the same feel! Looking oh so forward to the retractable ceiling in 2021, a season's ticket holder then I will be! Cheers! read more

Nice new ballpark! Wish they had been a little more imaginative on the field itself like Minute Maid though. Drinks your typical $20. Food outrageously priced of course. Very good ballpark food options though and the Texas size hot dogs are huge! The folks working here were super nice and friendly. Really cool set up under stands to eat and watch games. We pre gamed at Texas Live before hand and that place is bad ass!!! Get there early and stay late !! We will be back many times to watch the Astros play here ! read more

The stadium itself is beautiful! Super new, clean, huge, with so many food options, great seating sections, tons of bathrooms, a kid area, photo opportunities, etc. I would give the food a 3/5. Not bad, but nothing I would rave about. I got a corndog box, fried pickles from pluckers, and blue bell ice cream. There are many bars and restaurants and fun around the stadium for after the game. This was my first time at a game at globe life park, and I am already looking forward to my next. read more

I've been to all the major and minor sporting events in Dallas, and this was surprisingly on the tip of the list next to the Eagles Vs Cowboys game opener and the preseason WNBA game that im pretty sure ended with me giving both team BUCKETS. Overall, walking around a really nice stadium watching a sport that was americas favorite past time back when people like me couldn't sit here! Great experience read more

Last season for this great Rangers ballpark. Been here many times. Hopefully this ballpark doesn't get torn down. Hopefully it can be continued to be used as a venue for concerts, or maybe for some baseball tournaments for high Schools or whatever keeps this ballpark alive and going. read more

I've been to a few Texas Rangers games at this ball park and it's always such a fun night out. The atmosphere is really good, the stadium is nicely laid out and if you don't mind having a little walk around there's a lot of different food options, a merchandise store and a nice bar named after Rebecca Creek whiskey. Last time we went to a game we shared a foot long hotdog but they offer lots of other choices from BBQ to nachos. We've never really had to wait in long lines for entry or refreshments. I visited this park to see the Indians and the Rangers and I have to admit that I'm a fan! Now, the evening I attended the game, the weather was beatiful. Low 80's with no humidity and a nice breeze, it was perfect weather. Getting into the park was very easy. I entered behind home plate and there were no lines. There were a lot of great food options as well as some places that sold craft beer. I enjoyed everything I ate (chicken fingers, Blue Bell ice cream) and drank (beer that wasn't Bud Light!). The crowd was nice, the sight lines from my seat were perfect and I loved the ambiance of the stadium. I do understand that if the weather is hot or it's sunny that it could also be a miserable place to watch a game. One nice thing is that they have a designated taxi/Uber lot if you don't drive your own car to the game. It was very easy to be picked up at the Uber location near lot C. I prefer ballparks that are down town or that have transit service because driving a car to a game just isn't my usual experience but it was very easy for my to be dropped off and picked up. read more

Great time to go to the ballpark. Labor Day was less crowded. I forgot how easy it is to get in and out of the parking. All the vendors and employees are very professional and seem like they want to be there. We had tickets on the all you can eat porch - great selection of all the ballpark favorites... Hotdogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, nachos, peanuts and popcorn. Great deal and the patio seating was where we stayed. The park is very clean and modern.... not sure why we need a new park. Hope to make it out there again soon! read more
