Very nice to have an air-conditioned stadium in Texas! We arrived 20 minutes before the stadium opened so we could get an exclusive - the lines were in the sun (very little shade outside the stadium). The right most line was for t-mobile only (no signs beyond the first 5 feet of the entrance) and a lot of people didn't know that and were trying to move lines halfway through. The upper levels of the stadium weren't accessible without a ticket to those areas. There is a good variety of food at the ground level. Seats are very tightly packed together - you will be shoulder to shoulder with the person seated next to you. read more

First time here was on a Tuesday early April for the Rangers vs Mariners game. Enjoyed the experience so came back in middle of May for the Rangers vs Diamondbacks game. So this is the new field for the Rangers replacing Globe Life park. While I think it's silly and a waste of $$$ to get a new ballpark considering Globe Life Park is less than 25 years old, I give this new ballpark some props for the fact that it has a retractable roof to make ball games more bearable during those hot Texas summers. Plus they've built around this area which include the Texas Live! venue nearby for entertainment and lodging purposes. As for the views of the ballpark, each time I've been here was in section 303 cause tickets are cheap at around $20 per head. You get a nice overview of the diamond and the outfield and the seats are very accessible via the elevator. As for concessions, I saw on Instagram that they have some special concoctions but it's on the first floor somewhere. Plus I have no desire to pay $7-8 for a hot dog or $14 for a beer; both of which are highway robbery. Some tickets do include credits you can use toward food depending on where you're sitting and how much you pay. But for now, the $20/ticket is fine with me as far as all I need to pay. I'll be sure to catch more games here whenever I find myself in the DFW area. read more

Go Rangers! Globe life was a great experience. Traffic around the stadium was fairly smooth and we quickly found parking even though a game was just starting. And once we got in all the staff were very helpful in pointing you towards your seat. I really enjoyed being covered from the sun. Globe Life Field in Arlington is the home of the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball team. From the outside, it looks plain and like a Home Depot (or George Foreman Grill). On the inside, it's one of the most beautiful and tasty parks in the US. My Overall Rating - 4 Stars. 5 Stars if the roof is open, 3 Stars if you care about how it looks outside. Atmosphere - Globe Life Field (affectionately known as the GILF) has a seldom used retractable roof. It's a shame, because it completely changes the experience, but since the summers are hot in Texas, the GILF is always a cool 72 degrees. Inside the concourses are wide and super clean. There are tons of food options and plenty of tables, and the sight lines inside the stadium are superb. 1 Star. Service - Everyone I interacted with was so friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a specific food item, just ask! Even the fans are super friendly. I always feel welcome no matter if the Rangers are losing or not. 1 Star. Food - The GILF has some of the best food in all parks. Each year they were release some new items. I'll focus on what I came to eat, starting with the Ribeye Sandwich from High Steaks near Sec 106. This sandwich has a thin Nolan Ryan Beef ribeye steak - a real steak not shaved. Cooked to order (Medium rare, please), the steak comes with grilled onions and is topped with arugula with a vinaigrette dressing. The grilled roll holds it all together, but I used a knife and fork to slice into the tender, well marinated steak. It was just like eating a steak. Next, I washed it down with a Cookies & Cream + Churros Batting Helmet. This can be found at Scoops, but only on the main concourse (Sec 102 or 125). The churros are freshly fried and piping hot. I did the "dunk and bite" method to make sure I got a good combo of ice cream and churro. 1 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. I like attending the games on Sunday when the game starts at 1:35. Doors open at noon, so I end up eating lunch at the GILF. While this visit was for the new items, future visits will include a return to Hurtado's BBQ or Texas Live next door. 1 Star. read more

I had such a great time at a Texas Rangers game at Globe Life Field. The park itself is beautiful--clean, modern, and easy to get around. We had amazing seats, which made the whole experience even better, and of course, you can't go wrong with classic ballpark popcorn and cold beers. One of my favorite parts was walking around the stadium and taking it all in. We made our way over to Pluckers Wing Bar out in the outfield area, and the wings were definitely worth it. If you like hot dogs, most definitely get your tickets on Wednesday for 1$ hot dogs. That's one of the best deals they offer! They have a moving clothing station of jerseys that's super cool, blue bell ice cream, frozen daiquiris, beer baseball bats, hot dogs, chips, and more! Sitting in my seat looking around it occurred to me how architects and designers have progressed light years from the Astrodome. Perfect lighting, temperature,view,seating. It reminds me of a high quality tool. Makes getting the job done easier and more enjoyable. That's how I felt in this stadium. Easy to move around,plenty of restrooms and vendors. First time to be in the new stadium and it was just taken a back with a shock of how nice it was. The food we ordered was very good. My only complaint is we were in section 2 near the third baseline. In the elevator, you had to show your ticket every time you got on, so that made it very hard when you have a handful of food or drinks. read more

Went here for a baseball game with my husband's work. We had a "porch" area, plus seating in the stands. It was clean and a fun game. My 3 year olds first baseball game and she loved it (though scared of the fireworks when they hit home runs). It was covered that day and air conditioned, which was nice. I attended a Bruno Mars concert here. The venue was well maintained and even though I had to ask for directions multiple times, there was always staff on hand to answer questions and some even went out of their way to help me. Venue staff were also working the merchandise booth and were working hard even under challenging conditions. I enjoyed that the venue had a roof covering the event space the whole time. A/c wasn't quite up to the task of cooling a stadium full of people. The only issue I ran into was that the Globe Life Field bag policy stated that every ticket holder was allowed to bring a quart ziplock of food with them but when I arrived I was told no food was allowed. I was granted a medical exception but it's frustrating to research a venue bag policy in advance only to be told it's not in effect and there's no way to know what the real policy is. read more

Saw Shakira here and what a night. Stadium is huge but still felt super organized. Getting in was way smoother than I expected for a packed concert. Security was chill but efficient, and the staff was actually helpful Sound was great. The crowd was so engaged the whole time - people were dancing and singing- Pure joy. The screens were massive, so even if you were way back, you still felt close to the action. Plus, the A/C inside was super strong!! Went to a concert here during the week and went with a group and had box tickets. Overall, we had a great experience, especially with the convenience of the private bathroom for each box and the nearby bar, which did not have a long line. The bartender was not the kindest though, so service could be improved. The prices are also extremely high- i got a regular marg on the rocks for like $28. The box itself was a nice area and very clean. They gave us popcorn, water bottles, and a selection of regular and diet soda. The view from our seats was fantastic! Sound was good, and the production of the show was amazing. Excited to come back here for later concerts and events. Parking is hard though- but there are various lots within a mile radius that have differing prices. My group got a spot that was $40, but I say signs for $60 too. read more

I went to two games at the old ballpark (2009 and 2017) and a game on a Friday in June 2025. I really liked the aesthetics and feel of the old park. Both game temperature were at or around 100 degrees at first pitch. A/C definitely made things more comfortable during this visit. I was able to procure a ticket down the 3rd baseline fairly cheap from Seatgeek. I was staying at a hotel about 1.5 miles away so parking was not needed. Round trip Uber was under $15.00. Next time I may pop in Texas Live before the game. The game I attended had Budweiser products for under $5.00 until first pitch in the Budweiser area. I didn't eat anything else there as it appeared to be typical ballpark fare. Sightlines were ok, seats were comfortable, no issues navigating around the park. It just has a Home Depot feel to it. In terms of domed stadiums I've been to, certainly not the worst but there are places I've liked better. Overall if you have a chance to go to a Rangers game, go. You don't have to worry about the weather and it is a laid back atmosphere. Rangers did do a great job highlighting their history throughout the stadium. read more

A day game with a/c during a scorching Texas summer? Yes please. Rangers vs. Phillies Globe Life Field is located near Texas Live and AT&T stadium. It was our first time seeing a game here. Deets below... PARKING: Was hoping to catch a shuttle from J Gilligan's like we do for Cowboy games and concerts, but it wasn't running. I read where not to park on Reddit (aka Magic Mountain or a private lot that will tow you). Turns out we can park for free in Lot W with a Lexus and a sticker - even better! TBH, if that didn't happen one of the indie lots for $20 are probably a better deal than the stadium prices, so don't pre buy if you want to save $. BAG RULES: You don't have to have the ugly clear bags like for AT&T. Larger bags are allowed (see dimensions on their site). It said no backpacks, but I saw a ton of them. FOOD: Standard peanuts, popcorn, cotton candy. I had Frito pie because Texas. Also - Hurtado BBQ, cheesesteaks (because Phillies?), brisket nachos, fried things, hot dogs, mini pies, grab and go 7-11 drinks, Bahama bucks, bars, beer and Bluebell sundaes. The line for Bluebell was so long, sad to miss it on a cheat day :( The stadium was full by the first inning but no drama or fights like football. Never a line for the bathroom. Easy in and out. Globe Life Field is what happens when Texas says, "Let's do a ballpark, but make it fancy." You walk in expecting peanuts and Cracker Jack and end up in a climate-controlled spaceship of baseball. I didn't just watch a game--I felt like I was attending a well-choreographed indoor festival that happened to have a diamond in the middle. The retractable roof is the real MVP. It was 102 outside, but inside? A crisp 72 with a light breeze from the gods of air conditioning. I didn't sweat once--unheard of in Texas. And the food? I passed up a plain hot dog for something called a Boomstick, which looked like a brisket burrito and a State Fair had a baby. Worth every bite. The seats were comfy, the sightlines were clear, and even walking the upper concourse felt like a luxury stroll. At one point I sat in a rocking chair inside the stadium, margarita in hand, watching the game like a Texas grandma on her porch. Unreal. I went to a Chris Brown concert last night and the audio was absolutely terrible. The only thing I enjoyed about the concert was seeing Chris Brown because I love Chris Brown and he knows how to put a show on, but the audio wasn't it. There was so much echo we could barely make out the words, and my entire group noticed this. I almost thought we were crazy but then when I go to other reviews and Reddit, I actually see people complain about the stadium's acoustics. This has to be fixed, like we pay hundreds of dollars to go to a concert and the audio isn't great. I saw Chris Brown at Dickie's Arena in Fort Worth and it was amazing. l've never been to a concert with the sound this bad. Literally the only positive of the concert was Chris Brown. The stadium and most of the vendors while pricy are clean and pleasant. This however is a review of Hurtado BBQ in the stadium. . I'm leaving it here since i couldn't find any other place to review them. The food was slopped into the boats, and the barbecue was of average taste at best. The part that really bothered me was at $23 dollars for an order of nachos, the barbecue on them was cold. Get out of the city to get good barbecue and service. read more

The stadium guest services team are OUTSTANDING. I brought my 87 year young mother to a game and they gave her the red carpet treatment from the parking lot, through the game, and back to the car. They shuttled her from parking lot, to an attendant with a wheelchair to get her to our seats. They tended to her when I went on a food run, and chatted with her while I was away. They commented on how she was cheering and clapping, and gave her a free Rangers bucket hat and cookie! Shout out to usher Sharon, who said my mom was her soul mate as they shared the same name nd same love of baseball. Great experiences with this field! I've been to a lot of MLB games at 9 venues and this is the best! It is great for the players, great for the fan, and even better for kids and those really not into the game. There are a lot of activities for kids including batting cages, arcade, wiffle ball park, playground, and autograph session from current players. There are also autographs from former players for all ages, lots of food options if you don't bring something from home (see the rules for that), lots of special seating options, and too many other things to mention! (Go online, take a few minutes as there is that much information in their Guest Guide.) The retractable roof is AMAZING compared to the 2 previous stadiums here. My last visit, is was 100 degrees, high humidity, no clouds and intense sun outside, 74 degrees inside. I also had the chance to visit the Lexus Lounge before the game and WOW. read more
