The 13 acre park has a one mile long walking track that I enjoyed today but there are other features including two large open multi-use areas, scattered picnic tables, a structure with restrooms (thank you!) and a very neat spaceship-themed playground that looked like fun. I was really surprised by the Japanese garden. It was quite lovely. This park was busy on the night I was there. People walking, kids doing hood rat stuff, kids playing basketball. Right up the street from Desoto high school, Ziegier park has just about every accommodation a park should have . The bathrooms work and cleanliness is ok. The basketball court has some nets that could use adjusting. There is a baseball parka don an area where soccer can be played. Great to come here when the sun is not too hot. There is not many shaded areas along the walking path .
