Best place to take the dogs for walks. It's free for residents of Grand Prairie. Just show you license at the booth and you're good to go. If you don't have a resident of GP with you it's $20 for a one time entry day pass. It's more on holidays and not free to residents.

I haven't seen may parks with such a concentration on climbing. It's genius. Several play spaces that separate small and big kids, permanent toilets and picnic benches are available. There is also a large open grassy field for sports. You will need to watch your kiddo's as the park has gates, but multiple entry/ exit points so be prepared to move around as kiddos explore.

There's places for the younger kids(babies/toddlers) and climbing areas for the older kids . There are plenty water fountains and benches for rest and relaxation . There is shaded areas for those extremely hot Texas days . Lots of open area for space to play catch . This is far from your ordinary park and you could easily spend over three hours here . Highly recommended and super close to the Epic area / waterpark.
