This is an interesting park that the city has managed to tuck into an area that is likely prone to flooding from Little Creekand probably would be undesirable for building a home. The entrance is on a very short street and you're walking over a bridge. Interesting start to the encounter.
The 13 acre park has a one mile long walking track that I enjoyed today but there are other features including two large open multi-use areas, scattered picnic tables, a structure with restrooms (thank you!) and a very neat spaceship-themed playground that looked like fun.
Maybe not enough parking for non-locals but if you're in one of the fine homes adjacent to the park, you can just walk over.
