There is foam matting to break falls (because we know they will happen), there's bench tables as well as other places to sit. I liked that the park was set up for different ages and was inclusive, however we apparently went on a day when most kids were out of school so there were times that the big kids were running around and almost knocking over the little kids or big kids playing in areas that are intended for smaller kids. Would we go back? The kids loved it and said they had fun and want to go back so that's what really matters.

My then-7 y/o son was able to climb 8 feet up a structure for its intended use and jump off "on a dare" by other kids and ended up in the ER. I've also assisted with autistic children that elope and get separated due to the multiple exits. There are also multiple places to have a party, first come first served. This also makes things extra crowded. I haven't been there in a while since the heat, but I am hoping they will maintain a good-sized field because independent play (soccer, football, kite flying, etc.) are just as important as playground structures.

This is the coolest free indoor playground I've seen in a while! Don't be alarmed of how small it…read morelooks from the outside or inside, it packs a MEAN PUNCH! Those slides in there especially the blue one is adult sized and oh so fun! I went down it a few times an almost had whiplash from the speed and all the twist and turns! And it feels like the slide goes foreverrrrr. The entire playhouse is tall enough for adults to play inside which is hardly ever the case at most places! It was jam packed full of people by the time we left, and we got there right when it opened at 10am. Check in is a breeze. You tell the nice lady behind the counter your name and kids name and they give you a sticker. If it's your first time you simply fill out a form and then get the same sticker. Shoes have to remain on and it is located inside what looks to be a mega church! Ample parking and very nice parents who go there.

The indoor playground at Prestonwood Baptist has REOPENED and offers FREE fun to the public 5 days…read morea week (not including during Sunday services). The sweet spot for this playground is probably 3-6 years, but there is plenty to do for the younger ages too. The max age for entry is 10. There are slides, climbing areas, and a rubber-bottomed hill for the kids to run up and roll down. Despite being fully closed in, the play area is bright and doesn't feel cramped at all (in comparison to Irving Bible Church's THE TUBES). Everything was exceptionally clean. The playground is open M-F from 10a-4p. It is free and open to the public, but you must check in at the desk in front of the play area before entering. No food or drinks in the play area and children MUST wear shoes. This was a bit of a drive for us, so I packed a lunch and after the kids had their fill of the playground, we headed over to the indoor eating area on the opposite side of the church ("The Commons") to eat. We even got to see the little train crossing, just didn't know where to get the kids a ride on it. Porta potty near by. My only complaint was that more shade is needed it was a very hot day and not enough shady place to sit inside the play area. A bonus it is completely enclosed and has one gate. What a great safety feature. We will have to come back in the fall!

There's an older kid side as well as a younger kid side and we've explored both while here. The couple of times we've visited during the daytime, it's never too crowded, which I like. We came for an evening play date once and there were certainly a lot more people, but my son still got to get on what he wanted without a wait. The park also has nice sand volleyball courts, basketball courts a small running trail and a nice sized little fishing pond. One of the best things is that the bathrooms are located in the center of everything so there's easy access and they are typically pretty clean as far as park bathrooms go. There are multiple pavilllions with BBQ grills scattered all throughout the park. In the park, they have a small skatepark where you can practice your latest tricks on your skateboard or roller blades. There is also a splash pad here too that is open to the public during the summer months. They provide a parking lot here with ample parking, so parking should never be an issue. This is a great park to get outside and get some vitamin D, whether you're taking a walk or just letting the kids get loose. When planning a birthday party here, reservations are not required, but is a first come, first serve basis. They have a bulletin board here where you can check out the latest events the city has planned for upcoming events and any questions or concerns you may have with Mansfield City Parks.

Parking was a struggle when we arrived to setup everything, but once our party time started it cleared out and was great! The employees helped with tables and socks for the kids. Bathrooms are out in the big room...kinda far but no biggie. This place was clean and big so there was plenty of room for a couple of parties at a time. We will be back!
