When in Dallas, you must check out the Reunion Tower. There isn't a whole lot to do while you're up there except enjoy the spectacular views and beautiful landscapes. We were fortunate there was no cloud cover! You could see for miles from the Ball's point of view at 470 feet up. The Reunion Tower itself is a 561 ft observation tower in Dallas, and one of the city's most recognizable landmarks. We spent about 30 min checking out the views and eventually made our way back down the elevator. Overall, it was a nice experience! But for the price we paid, I did expect a bit more! I always try to visit an observation tower when I visit a different state. So I had to visit the Reunion Tower whilst in Dallas. The Tower looked like a lollipop and was only 20 mins walk from our hotel. At one point we found ourselves on the train tracks and could see the Tower but couldn't quite see how to get there as there was no signage or directions. Eventually, we had to walk around and go under a bridge to get to the other side and walked towards the Tower. Even the entrance had no signage. It did have the name of the restaurant Crown Block and also Hyatt Hotel but nothing about the Tower. Anyway, we walked in and went downstairs. Tickets were $19 and can be bought from the kiosks. As we walked to the line, you get to have your photo taken with a green screen. There are props you can use on the right counter if needed. In the elevator you can see outside as you are going up. I just wished the glass was facing the city instead of Trinity river and the two Margaret sister bridges. You can see all the freeways overlapping like spaghetti. At the top, there is a little area with a few tables and chairs. I guess you can bring a lunch or snack whilst enjoying the views. The restrooms are really clean up there. Outside, there are telescopes available and info about the skyline. However, it was awfully windy and cold in January. The staff were really friendly and helpful with any questions you have. We found out the photos taken earlier, could be viewed at the kiosks by scanning the barcode on your ticket. They email the photos to you for free or you can buy a physical copy from them. Overall, it was a nice visit. Have to say, there were hardly any people around. I guess it was off peak tourist season, so it was nice not having the crowds and long lines. read more

Cost about $18 per adult. The wind on the deck is really nice. There's a little dining area. Take the elevator, which has part glass so you can see yourself going up. Purchase your tickets online. I went on the Sunday before Memorial Day, and it was PACKED. When you get there, you're essentially walking through a giant hotel. They have time slots for the elevator ride up so you get in line and wait. You go through security and there's a pop up photographer (which you can skip) The elevator ride is probably 30 seconds with maybe 10 people in the elevator with you. Once you're up, it's a bunch of historical plaques and photos inside. And the outside perimeter gives you a great 360 view. Restrooms are also up top. read more

This is an iconic tower located in the heart of downtown. You will find tons of commercial parking lots available to park. I recommend exploring parking apps to find some deals on parking. The tower is also conveniently located right next to Union Station. So, taking public transit here would be an option too. This is not a very tall tower. At 561 feet, it is only the 15th tallest building in Dallas. Yes, the 16th tallest tower in the city, not even the state or nation. The tower is the site of the city's annual New Years Eve festivities. That is what brought me here. I decided to go up the tower and check it out as well. The tickets to go up the tower are timed and can be purchased at a kiosk or at the agent next to the kiosk. Once you purchase your ticket, you just get in line when its your time. You then pass through a security sensor and take a green screen souvenir photo. You can retrieve the photos by entering an email address in a kiosk at the top of the tower on the GeO Deck. A few of the photos are free and you can purchase prints of others. I got photos with different backgrounds for free. Once you take the photo, you get in the line que to go to the tower's viewing platform. The line moved relatively quick. I would say it took about 15 to 20 minutes to get on the elevator. After a short elevator ride you are up on the viewing area which is enclosed. It is a somewhat small area and has some snacks for sell and some seating. There is an interactive kiosk there where you can operate a camera on the tower and look at sites around the city. you are free to partake in the 360-degree views of the Dallas cityscape, at your own pace. You can go out to the outer ring which is outdoors and you will find free binoculars to use. Next to the binoculars you will see pictures of landmarks, with names that you can try to locate. Once you are done checking things out up there, visitors can just get in a line to catch the elevator to go back down. Once you are back down on level ground, you exit through........yep, you guessed it, the gift shop which sells light snacks, toys, magnets, shirt and other typical souvenirs. All of the staff that I interacted with at the tower were very friendly and helpful. They made the experience more enjoyable. I liked my visit to the tower. I spent about 30 minutes or so up at the top and I was ready to go though. This is definitely a must visit while in Dallas. read more

The tower offers great views of the skyline of downtown Dallas and the surrounding areas. On a clear day, it's possible to see the skyline of Fort Worth kind of. Unlike other observation towers, there is no glass in the viewpoint area so views of the area are unobstructed and there's no annoying reflections regardless of the time of day. Overall, I would go again during a different time of day such as sunset. read more

This is a great sight seeing experience for everyone. This tower allows for great views over the city of Dallas, Texas. My family and I came at the last sight seeing appointment which was at 8 30p.m.. We opted for this time slot to actually be able to enjoy the Dallas city view lit up with all their different lights in varies parts of the city. We also opted for vallet parking since it was only 20$ and didn't have to worry about parking and making it to the tower at our allotted time. The tower has an amazing restaurant at the top that slowly spins around as you eat to be able to take in varies views of the city. It has a great Dallas souvenir shop that is a bit pricey but has great options of items available. Once your allotted time is near, you can step up to the line of the elevator that takes you to the top of the tower. Before getting into said elevator, there is an opportunity for a family photo with photo props available for free. They usually sell these pictures but there cameras were not working so they were using our own cellphone to take the family picture so they were free for us that night. TIP: If you are scared of heights, once outside the top of the reunion tower, do not look down. read more

I have always wanted to visit this tower and Friday evening was finally it! A bit expensive just to visit the deck but worth it for the experience. $150 for 4 adults and 4 kids for their last 8:30pm entrance. They do valet parking and you just follow the signs that lead you towards the entrance of the GeoDeck. Once they scan you in, you get in line to take your souvenir pic. Unfortunately on this night, their equipment was not working so we had to take pics on our phone but it was free and we had about 4 to choose from. Once we pass that tou are lead to an elevator that takes you straight up. You have the option of staying inside and choose from many of their high top tables they have located around with seating to just sit and enjoy the view. Perfect I'd your on a date and juat want a chance to sit and talk. You can also go outside and take pictures and that is where you can really get the good views! Loved going at night and seeing the whole city lit up! Such a great experience and view. You are able to walk all around and see the city from every single angle. If you are afraid of heights this can definitely get scary especially if you are closer to the edge taking pictures. Overall such a great and unique experience if you are in the Dallas area and def recommend coming in the evenings. Everyone enjoyed it and the kids too. This is located in their downtown area so parking can get tricky unless you are really paying attention to their signage. We got lost so we ended up just leaving our car with the valet in from of their restaurant parking. read more

This place is great way to see the whole city. I specifically enjoyed how it was way cooler on top than being on the ground. There are plenty of parking spaces nearby and it's $10 last time I went so it wasn't that bad. At least you won't have to drive around. Short walk to the entrance and short line too. Highly recommend buying the Dallas CityPass to have the Reunion tower as a part of your plans along with other museums and the zoo as options to finish out your ticket package. Enter through the front entrance of the Hyatt Hotel to enter the Reunion tower. We used a map app that had us walking around the building and unsuccessful at getting in to side doors! Having a pre-set time for our entrance made it hassle free and really limited crowds. We went on a Saturday afternoon in the summer. The weather was clear so you could see for miles. Don't forget to watch the videos they have inside on TV like screens regarding the death of JFK and other highlights of the views around you. You can really get a sense of how expansive the DFW area is when you have the view from the observation deck. You can stay inside (climate controlled) and walk around, or go outside and be able to see around. They only offer vended beverages at the observation deck. read more

This is a really cool landmark to check out. I was in town on business and a business partners suggested we go check it out. The views are amazing. I will admit, when you're going up 450 feet plus in the elevator it felt kind of intense for a minute, but I'm just afraid of heights so that's just probably unique to me. Our first ever trip to Dallas, Texas and we did all the iconic tourist attractions. We purchased the Dallas City Pass, which included the Reunion Tower as one of the options. The Tower is 470 foot high viewing experience with an incredible 360-degree panoramic view of Downtown Dallas. The entrance to the tower is located inside the Omni Hotel. They will take your picture before you take the elevator ride to the top. The elevator ride was cool because there is a glass window that you can look out as you make your way to the top. One in the observation deck, there is a small gift shop that has some light snacks. There is an indoor seating area that has a panel that will show you videos of the history of Dallas. But the best part is walking along the outside and checking out the views. One of the most unique views you will see here is the birds eye view of Elm Street, where President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. There are free telescopes throughout the outdoor viewing area for you to use. When we went, it was raining. But the views were still beautiful. Tickets range from $19 to $40 depending on when you go. Your admission includes the souvenir digital photo you take at the start of your adventure. They also require you to make reservations for a specific day and time. I had to change my reservation at the last minute and there was no issues, but again, I went on a rainy day when the crowd was probably lighter than usual. Parking was a challenge. There was some kind of convention going on in the normal parking lot, and the alternative was to park in their secondary lot, which is a far walk....especially in the rain. So given the situation, I opted for the hotel Valet parking, which was $20 vs. the self park $10. Overall, the views are nice. The admission price is a stretch, especially for a big family. I'm glad it was part of our City Pass. read more

I took family for an hour tour of the Reunion Tower's Geo-Deck. That was disappointing. Our guide just tapped the kiosk and repeated the information on it. DO NOT spend extra on a tour. Not worth it. Underwhelming compared to NYC or Chicago, but this was a reasonably priced experience that didn't have a ton of crowds. It isn't anything fancy, as it's tucked away inside a hotel. But you can get in quickly and see pretty much all of Dallas. If you go at sunset, as I did, you get some great views of the dusky red sun reflecting off the skyscrapers. It was also quite a sight to see the sun setting in the background, behind the winding overpasses and highways, like an art piece made of spaghetti and concrete. Definitely recommend the later evening, you won't regret it. read more

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency which is adjacent to the Reunion Tower. We were literally able to walk to the Reunion Tower entrance from our hotel lobby. Sweet... The observation deck is pretty cool. There's a tiny gift shop to purchase souvenirs and snacks. There's some interactive touch screen monitors powered by Google Maps that allows you to see Dallas landmarks from the tower. You can stroll to the outside section to really feel how high you are in the tower as you feel the weather elements. I want to give a major shout out to the super friendly elevator operators and gift shop employees. Their vibe was friendly and their high energy positivity was cool to be around during our short visit. I wish there was a bar or something up there to get a drink. I associate cool views like this with a cocktail or two lol This is one of those urban tourists stops that's worth checking out once. Reunion Tower was a good experience. I didn't know the ride to the top would be so quick lol did high roller in Vegas and the ride is longer granted it's not an elevator. The views are amazing and having the telescopes to look down or just to watch from afar was a cool addition. I enjoyed the Photo Booth at the beginning and the fact they can send you the photos as a download or you can actually get the prints right there. I do believe the price for tickets is reasonable for the experience and would visit again. Everyone was friendly and just made us either laugh or smile. read more

I've been to Reunion Tower three times in my life. Once for Prom in 98'. Another time about 9 years ago and this most recent time. I gotta tell ya, every time it gets a little less exciting. I'm glad Dallas has an iconic tower that gives 360-degree views of the city, but it feels really dated. After you advance past the ticket desk, you have an opportunity to have a group photo taken with novelty props like a cowboy hat or sponge hands. Then, the glass elevator ride to the top is fun as you ascend to the observation deck. There are touchscreens arranged around the perimeter of the sky lobby that have different factoids and short videos about the history of Dallas. They are not as exciting as they could be. The programming is a bit dry. If you exit out to the observation deck, you get a 360 degree open air view of the city. There is also a small gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs like stuffed animals, keychains and pens. Overall Reunion Tower is good, but it doesn't have the buzz and excitement that other towers have. It could definitely use a refresh on the programming and decor of the sky lobby. Also, one final thing- Parking was a pain. We parked in the dedicated lot for Reunion Tower/ The Hyatt Regency and the electronic parking gate would not read our ticket, which was just dispensed barely an hour before. We wound up paying the full day rate instead of a shorter window. Another person next to us using the other parking gate had the exact same issue. A frustrating end to a pretty meh experience. read more

Alisica was such great host and guide for Vicki and me at our Tower LIIA event Saturday (2/28/26). It was the 1-year anniversary of when we met, I proposed marriage, and Vicki accepted! We were about an hour early for our dinner reservation at Crown Block so we waited at a small round white table with a spectacular view of South Dallas. We wanted to view Dallas from the other windows and Alisica suggested that we do that. Alisica suggested that we spend 30 minutes sightseeing. She said she'd meet us at the small white table in time to guide us to Crown Block 20 minutes before dinner. We must have lost track of time and around 25 minutes before dinner Alisica found us IN THE CROWD and guided us to the restaurant where I proposed. Alisica may have saved our night! Alisica was also an excellent guide getting us our own seats at that small white table as it was crowded. We also enjoyed her as our guide before that! Thank you! read more

My wife and I were blown away by Jaleesa and her customer service. Jaleesa directed us to the photo area, then gave us insight about the Reunion Tower while going up the elevator and gave us a tour of the tower!! She helped us to know what we were looking at and what to look for while looking outside 470ft in the air!! She was very personable, knowledgeable, and enjoyable. For the price of going up to just see up there no complaints (I think it was under $20 a ticket). Simple process walked to the desk, bought tickets and got on the elevator, no lines. Went up to look around. took some photos looked outside. In total it's a short experience about 20-30 mins really if you don't do any extras just go to look. I have a small fear of heights the scariest part was the fast elevator ride up! You feel safe outside with all the bars they have. read more
