Dealy Plaza

We did the guided JFK tour. Our guide, Tim, is clearly passionate about the subject and gives a healthy dose of humor along with the accepted story and conspiracy theories. You'll even get to hang out in Oswald's rooming house (still owned by the granddaughter of the original owner) and see his CIA safe house

I took this tour today with my mother. I did the 1-hour tour of JFK assassination and I wish I could have done a longer tour. Dan...Daniel, what can I say about my tour guide? Amazing!!! The knowledge was there. The passion was there. The interaction was there. My questions were answered. He showed us video footage during our walking tour to back the events of 11-22-63. And because the walking tour was just my mom and I, he drove us along the route. We discussed every turn, every conspiracy theory and never missed a beat. It was a tour from someone who lives and breathes his job. I will gladly take a longer tour in the future because there is so much more I want to see. Side note: I was impressed with how downtown Dallas preserves its history. Everything along the route was there in 1963. I post on more than one platform so I will be leaving this review there and this is my personal first hand experience.

Dan, our tour guide was rude & unprofessional!!!! If you go on this tour, I hope you DO NOT get Dan. He did not tolerate other opinions. He didn't want to address other theories and when you brought them up he immediately dismissed them. We asked him about recent new information that has come out, including personal testimony from RFK Jr. (the president's nephew). Instead of a logical discussion of the facts, he belittled RFK Jr. calling him names. The worst was watching him argue with Mrs. Pat Hall at the Oswald Rooming House. They have different opinions on the matter. She was there as a little girl in 1963 and still owns the house. She met Oswald. It would have been interesting to hear more of her side of the story, but he talked over her and argued in front of the tour. When we left the Boarding House, he sat with his captive audience in the van for another 10 minutes arguing how she was wrong and he was right. He was crude, used the F bomb in front of a child and did not want to address other theories, just his own. It was a less than enjoyable. I've been on many historical tours (Gettysburg, Monticello, Mount Vernon, The White House...) This was the worst! For $75 each, I'd expect more professionalism and civility for what should have been a dignified tour about our American President and a tragic moment in our history. Waiting in between the highway and off ramp. Driver walked other passengers off the highway to a nearby business.

Trip was supposed to start at 10. Two guests tardiness meant we did not until close to 10:15. Where I tried to originally sit, there were broken seatbelts. As we are gong on I30 near Six Flags, we hear a large pop. Thirty seconds later, we can feel the tire has had a blowout. It was a bit scary moving from the left lane all the way to the right shoulder, but it got done. We got stuck in between a small opening between the three land highway to the left and an off ramp to the right. It is now 11:10 and the best of Fort Worth that I've seen is nothing more than the asphalt of the highway. Not the most comforting feeling having traffic whiz by on both sides. Makes me wonder about the maintenance history of the van we are in. * I should also mention if all had gone to plan, we'd have lost more time because we had to drop off people going to the Cowboys (NFL) stadium. Four hours might be 1 at best. Because we've been sitting here for over an hour, we missed the cattle run at Ft. Worth. The thing we really wanted to see. At first, they wanted us to wait for the tire to be changed - more waste of time. Fortunately, they had another van come out and I had to insist we change vans. Completely disappointing and waste of money. Update. They only offered us 50% off for the hell we went through. When I insisted it should be fully refunded and they should feel lucky none of us were hurt or killed, this was their response "Please do not take advantage of that situation what we have. If you'd like to continue that's fine we will give you a 50% off if you cannot the guide would not able to have you with him" How am I taking advantage of a situation that the company created by having an unsafe vehicle transport us? The original vehicle had about 100k miles, the replacement had 14.7k

I took my nephew on a 3 hour Cowboy stadium tour and we had an amazing time. Our tour guide Johnny was the best he was fun and very informative. He should us the route JKF took when he was assassinated. And also took pictures of us in front of the ATT stadium. He had us laughing the whole time. Thanks Johnny your amazing.

Note that tix are only refundable within 24hrs of purchase and not within 24hrs of the event. We left the parking lot behind Crate & Barrel on Knox about 15 minutes early, since they were able to verify that we were all present. The van was the right size for the group, not a large bus like I've been in before. It was a nice van. I totally forgot to take a photo of it, as we walked around the corner, saw it sitting there & boarded. We left shortly after that! Our tour guide was fun and inserted some nostalgia along the way. I was born in Dallas but learned a few things about Highland Park that I didn't know! We stopped at 2 houses for photo ops (about 5 minutes) and then a bathroom/treat/drink stop at La Madeleine (love it) for 10 minutes. It was a lot of fun - one side of the van would say 'OOOOH' and one side would say 'AHHHH'. Wisely they asked us not to take photos, as the light from the phones reflected on the windows, which makes it difficult for the others to see out. Tickets for 2025 were $45 + tax. A nice value for the 1 1/2hr of fun and new friends!

John was a great tour guide: very informative, friendly and patient with our group. We went on a general tour (where we got to ride in a very nice van) and got to walk around a few sites such as Pioneer Plaza, the Dallas Farmers Market and Cathedral Guadalupe. I got some great pictures. John also does a JFK tour about the assassination that sounded very interesting but due to time constraints, we couldn't take part in. However, if you're looking for information on Dallas, seeing what makes it universal and want to partake in a tour this company is definitely a good choice for that. We also discovered Lockhart Steakhouse at his suggestion and were very pleased with that experience.
