I purchased tickets for my husband and myself using the senior/disabled discount as I am both. Whether it was my error or an error with the website, the tickets were purchased for the wrong date--I had planned this as one of the few gifts my husband and I would share this Christmas season--and we hoped to go on Christmas Eve. When I checked the tickets on Dec. 24 to see what time we were scheduled to go, I saw that they were actually issued for Dec. 17 and we had missed the date. I purchased them on Dec. 16 and being disabled, I require time to plan and ensure that we can make it on time--I never schedule anything next day. And besides, as I said this was intended as our Christmas event, the only thing we had planned that Christmas Eve. I contacted Fever to ask if we could use the tickets anyway, and was immediately denied because "fine print says no refunds or rescheduling." I emailed again and explained the situation and asked for a little grace and kindness at Christmas...I wasn't asking for anything special, just for them to open the door a little wider that evening to allow two more people access. Denied again, with a "we appreciate your understanding." Well, I DON'T understand. There were two old people with nowhere to go and no family around on Christmas Eve, and this venue didn't have the kindness and compassion to allow us entry, though we had paid for tickets and now have to just lose that money because of a scheduling error and a refusal to show us grace. I hope that it was a lovely time for those who were allowed in. Sadly, we'll never know.

I played classic rock and we sung so loud we didn't need the karaoke mics lol We did a 10pm on Friday night & it was awesome to see Dallas at night. Our driver took us to The Blue Alley which had some great artwork and we got the tail end of a festival & I was able to buy some artwork from a local artist. This was our first time in Dallas and I just feel in love with the city. I called ahead and asked them if "kids" could go to. We had a 13 & 15 year old and they said Yes. We even got to stop by the trolley depot and meet the person in charge of the trolley system who also answered questions for us. I would recommend this food tour as we got to try three different places. Baboush, Ka Thai, and The Rustic. All were great! However, the restaurants can change from what our guide was telling us. We also got to stop by a local bakery and try their sweet bread. Next time we're in town we definitely want to try out another food tour with them.

Let me first clarify, this is the closest "campground" to downtown Dallas. Be very scared. I decided to give it a whirl and take it all in as an "experience". Plus, I wasn't the one who picked the place out and I didn't want to be rude. The sign out front says Lady Luck "Modern". I would say that this is anything but modern. It's by far the oldest RV park I've ever been to. I'm guessing it has about 100 spots, only about 5 were available for the daily stays, making it 95% of a trailer park. Like, chain link fence around the RV spots, "beware of the dog" postings, trailer park. Yep. I'm rating a trailer park a four. Why? Because it was super cheap for our two night stay, with full hook ups, and it is like 10 minutes to downtown Dallas. I didn't stay outside or use the amenities anyways and the only time I drove toward the middle of the property was at check in. I stayed two nights and I only seen two people outside while I was there. So, the residents keep to themselves. I would definitely not bring a kid here, not only because of the previous reviews, but because the "playground" looked to be from the 1970s. Actually come to think of it, the entire property was straight up out of the 1970s. I mean, I like vintage and all, but this was slightly risky. The dog park, that's a similar story to the playground. The owners must collect old signs and metal ornaments and decided to place them about the front. There really isn't a way to explain it properly, just look at the pictures. It's loud, especially for the daily rated spots upfront, those you can even see the trucks and traffic passing the freeway and on I35. We just turned the air conditioning up and tv on and rolled with it. If you can tolerate the sound and can keep an open mind, do it. When you go RVing, life's a trip. Make sure you clarify whether you have a 30 amp or a 50 amp. Otherwise, I think they automatically charge for a 50 amp. Cash and check only... told ya, 1970s.

I called at 7:14 PM and explained I made a mistake and asked if they could amend the date to November 8th. I was told that since it was within 24 of the tour, I am not entitled to a refund or an amendment for the date. They had to ask the tour company, Great R Tours to see if they could switch the date. I found out today that they will not work with us. They are keeping our money. The Viator rep had suggested that i book and pay for the same tour on November 8th. That way i would pay twice for the same tour. I told her that does not make sense. I called both Viator and Great R Tours and explained the situation. I asked if they could see through the 9 minute mistake i made. They essentially said "no". So they have lost a customer forever. If i could give ZERO stars, i would have.
