If you want to find the worlds best honey, that is local and convenient. This is your one stop shop. I love their honey and all of their products very professional and friendly and very dependable. Check them out. You will never regret it and it's local in Grand Prairie, Texas, Texas.

Life changing lip balm! Fate dealt me a win the day I came across the folks from Nottingham Bees at Trinity Groves. They had lots of products they had made from bees that they raise (which is SUPER cool). I bought a couple of lip balms because I have been a chap-stick addict for the last 28 years or so. Oh my goodness! Talk about awesome! This is my new "Go to" lip balm and I can never be without it. I apply way less frequently than store bought stuff. If you're like me and you apply tons of lip balm all day, I highly recommend you give their lip balm a try. They have tons of flavors too.

The informational session and tour were amazing. My daughter is fascinated by bees but too young to join the tour but they were flexible and let her join. The couple running the tour was extremely friendly. They had water to keep us cool. Everything was very clean. They also answered all of my daughters endless questions and if it was age let her do anything she asked. Overall this was a great and very educational experience.

Experiencing the bees nectar and honey making process.

Three of us met Tall Paul, the owner and tour guide on the square in McKinney Texas. When thinking about starting the business,he and his wife attended a school in Chicago on the subject. Evidently, Chicago is known for food tours. Basically, over a 5 hour period(it was supposed to be 31/2) Paul walked us around old downtown McKinney enlightening us on the history of this lovely North Texas Town and stopping in for small bites and drinks. Our first stop at 11 am on Sunday was an Irish pub! I have to think back a long time to remember when I may have been drinking beer at 11 am on Sunday! I bet 100 years ago people of McKinney would have been up in arms over beer drinking any time on Sunday, especially before church! This is the type of thing that Food Walk and Paul made fun to think about. Our tour wrapped up at a great place with oysters and some lovely mixology drinks. I think if you are open-minded and can roll with it, this may be something different that would expand your horizons. I say, Go!!!

First, even though they'll take your money in advance they won't take "reservations" - instead, you call them when you get your luggage, and within 5-10, they make a timely pickup. Unfortunately, it doesn't guarantee a timely departure. The first time I used their service, the driver kept circling and circling the airport until every seat on the van was filled. I could have claimed Texas residency by the time the van finally left DFW! This trip, I was relieved to see I was one of the last persons to be picked up on this afternoon's shuttle, but today's ride ended up being equally lengthy. Ominously, our driver nearly sideswiped a car on the freeway on-ramp leaving DFW. Then he rear-ends another car on an I-20 off-ramp in Arlington. We phoned this in to dispatch, and the dispatcher says our driver just needs to exchange information with the driver he hit, which he did. But then we sit and wait as the fire department and paramedics arrive and more information is exchanged. Then we wait some more as two police cruisers show up and information again is exchanged. In the meantime, the six passengers are trying to call the dispatching office but nobody will pick up the phone to tell us whether a backup van will be dispatched or whether our fares will be comp'ed or refunded (note - their phone automatically disconnects you after 5 minutes of ringing). Finally, some forty minutes later, the driver is released and we're back on the road again. I don't know why the local hotels recommended this service by name, when two or three blue SuperShuttle vans stopped to ask if I needed a ride while I was waiting for the Yellow Checker Shuttle, showing there IS another option - I think I'll use them for the return to the airport - the Yellow Checker Shuttle has far too much of a checkered past.

First, working with Steve was so easy and relaxed! As you can imagine, coordinating a kayak trip with Texas weather and multiple involved Girl Scouts posed a bit of a logistical nightmare but Steve was understanding all along the way! He was understanding when we dropped a few girls and added one back on and when weather canceled us the first few times he was very clear and quick with the communication. Second, Steve was incredibly informative and patient with our Girl Scouts. This was a group of girls ages 11-15 but most of our group fell into the 11-12 year old range. He kept the girls on task and made sure they were watching at the important parts without coming across as too tough. The girls LOVED the experience and I highly recommend Steve and Discover Kayak to Girl Scouts and new kayakers alike. Thanks again Steve!
