This place was great! Looking for fun fall activities? Hall's Pumpkin Farm has it all! We had a blast walking through the corn maze, shopping the craft stands, seeing the adorable animals that live on the property and so much more! The entrance fee is $15 for adults and that includes the corn maze. There are plenty of photo ops and yes, you can even buy pumpkins to take home. The prices for the pumpkins were very reasonable and seemed to be lower than most grocery stores. Everyone working at Hall's was also so nice. From the ladies working the pumpkin stand, to the lady in the gift shop. I bought an excellent pumpkin soufflé candle and some jam. The lady was nice enough to keep our bags while we enjoyed the happenings, and then we were able to retrieve them when it was time to leave. There were also lots of portable restrooms onsite- they called it "potty town USA" Also, there were booths for food and drink, so you really could make a whole afternoon of roaming around here. Went on a weekday night to the farm! It opens at 3pm until 8pm. The tickets for entry are cheaper on Wednesdays and Thursdays ($5) vs the weekend which is $15. Parking is free. The place is cash only and has a few food stalls around and snacks for purchase. There's a few activities to do as well like hay rides which is an additional fee, small petting zoo (only a few goats, pig and an alpaca when we were there) that you can only view through the fence, fresh cutting flowers ($5 for a jar) and a corn maze which comes with your admission. The place was packed when we went and by the time we left the line was all the way out onto the street. Overall a cute place to come and take pictures but very busy and would say it's only worth it to go during the weekday when the prices are cheaper. read more

LOTS of photo ops and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Corn maze was fun for my family to figure out which way to go, Funnel cake was good (we got the original but they had many more toppings). Plenty of parking if you're ok with walking but there is some parking onsite. Lots of pumpkins to choose from to buy. As for the negatives, a few animals behind a fence but cannot feed them, not enough seating areas (with or without shade), things were expensive as expected since it's a family farm, not much else to but walk around, people watch, eat, drink, take pics, and get some rosy cheeks! Sad to say we've somewhat been priced out of a tradition. We used to come yearly until covid closures. Pre-covid it was free to go check the farm out, but pay for hayrides, corn maze, pumpkins and snacks there. We would easily drop a good deal of money doing all of the activities, grabbing a pumpkin or two, and at least some kettle corn. After covid closers they started charging a cover charge just to come in to the tune of $15-20 per person on the weekend, which includes the corn maze and the ability to go take pictures. I totally get trying to recover, and price of everything going up. (We have family that are farmers up north; trust me I get it.) Though at those rates we are spending about what we would have just to go in, and my kids don't get to grab a pumpkin or do the hayride ... or we have to leave part of our family at home to go do it which somewhat voids the purpose of doing it as a family. It is less expensive on week days, but based on the previous year or two, they did not run the hayride on those days. Which my younger kiddo would bug me about if we were there and they are not doing it. For the weekend price we may as well shake things up to try the other pumpkin farms in the DFW area that may charge a little bit more but include most if not all of the activates vs just sticking with the one we went to every year ... or if money is tight just go up to Bedford Library while they have their pumpkin patch for free pictures and buy our pumpkins there. read more

We came into town for the stranger things pop up shop late October. Figured we needed to get our pumpkin patch visit off the checklist while visiting for the weekend. This place was so cute! And was different than our usual back home. So many photo ops. So many pumpkins. We didn't take professional photos. We just took them with our phone, but the pumpkins, tractor and little pumpkin stand were such great back drops for our photos. They offer a veteran discount. You do have to pay to enter. Cash only. Such a cute pumpkin patch! Parking was free. I believe it was $15 per person for entry. Sweet teas were $5 and served in a huge mason glass jar which was awesome to keep. Pumpkin prices were reasonable. There were plenty of photo ops around so no long lines to take pictures which was very nice! The corn maze was included in the entry fee. This is a cash only place and they had a few venders there for food, drinks and desserts. There was a playground for the kids and animals to look at. The lady at the front was rude. I can't help but think she was racist. When I walked up to the counter, the face she gave me was filled with disdain and hatred. I know that look I've gotten it before by people who I've done nothing to. Could be jealousy also- it's one of the two. When I gave her the money, she semi-yanked it out of my hand. Enough for me to notice- not enough to make it obvious and complain about it. The food was not only overpriced, but it was disappointing too. The roasted corn is not roasted. It's just warm. A lot of the kettle corn in the bag tastes very burnt (even if it doesn't look like it on the outside). The funnel cakes are way, way too small for $10. Also, I hate the grifting of only accepting cash. They do it so they can make more money with the ATM machines that they own. I get it's a business, but it shows the kind of money-greedy people they are. I still give it a two star because it's not all bad, but I don't think it's worth all the other downsides I mentioned and parking situation too. read more

This is our favorite local pumpkin patch to go for photos. They have tons of great photo ops set up around the farm. They have moved all the playground area to one spot this year over by the animals. I do like that they consolidated it to one area. They also added a new tractor structure for the kids to play on. The one downside is they started charging admission except on Wednesdays & Thursdays. They are also closed Mondays & Tuesdays this year. I came with my service dog, who is actually trained for my personal health needs. I was screamed at by the owner that my service dog was not allowed. This is against Federal ADA laws and Texas State Laws. All companies open to the public must follow these laws. My dog is very well behaved, never had any signs of aggression. And literally get complimented on his behavior every time we go out. Unacceptable to scream at disabled people. Would not recommend. read more

My experience at Hall's Pumpkin Farm was good and I'm gonna give you some tips for a great experience! 1. Try to come on a weekday if you can! On the weekdays it's free vs weekends there's an admission fee. -Plus on weekends it is a lot more crowded compared to the weekday. It was very crowded when I went on Saturday. (I still had a good time despite it being crowded.) 2. Bring cash. The venue is cash only. (There's an atm there as well in case you don't have cash though) 3. Come in early October because they have a flower garden where you can cut fresh flowers to buy. If you come later in the season, all the flowers will be gone :( 4. Come during the late afternoon and stay through sunset for better lighting when taking pictures. (Although taking pictures at night wasn't too bad either because they had plenty of artificial lights.) The recommendation Hall's pumpkin farm is worth definitely worth a visit IF pumpkin patches are your thing. There's a corn maize, a flower field and lots of pumpkins. Perfect for the kids. A little fresh air and farm life feels in the middle of an enormous metroplex! It gets pretty crowded here and the lines for hayrides get long (I haven't been on a hayride), and you'll probably experience screaming and crying children being forced to take way too many photos, but it's festive and sweet! There's a pretty decent variety of pumpkins and squashes, lots of sizes too. Enormous classic round pumpkins perfect for memorable jack-o-lanterns, plump little sugar pies, whimsical fairytale pumpkins in shades of sage and white and butternut, enormous phallic gourds... you can put together a serious harvest scene! A little expensive for pumpkins, however. There's a kid-friendly corn maze, a petting zoo, two small playgrounds, a bunch of tires to climb on, a little ice cream stand that wasn't open when we visited at 3:30 on a Wednesday, outhouses, and a few picnic tables. My family and I have been coming to Hall's Pumpkin Farm for 10 years now and we look forward to it every year! We watch the corn grow inch by inch and anticipate the opening of the farm. They have a 2 acre corn maze that is just the right level of difficulty, an amazing assortment of pumpkins in all shapes and sizes, hayrides, and country chic gifts and decor for sale. We bought a huge white pumpkin this year and carts are available to pull the pumpkins to your car. The farm does get busy so if you want to take advantage of all the vintage tractors for photo opportunities it's a good idea to arrive soon after they open for the day. This year we bought some kettle corn and sweet tea and it was delicious! The hayrides are so fun and you'll take a scenic tour of the farm and feed the cattle and donkeys! The farm animals are very well cared for and are so gentle. This is a great family fun event that we enjoy every year! read more

Came here on a Saturday evening during their opening weekend which was free admission. I've been wanting to go to a pumpkin themed place every fall but haven't gotten the chance until this year! There's plenty of photo opportunities and pumpkins for sale. They have a few props with the pumpkins for photos. The pumpkin prices were decent and there's a variety of sizes/shapes/colors. There's also a corn maze ($5) which I got lost in for a while since it was night time and super dark. Thankfully there's people inside that give you hints if you do get lost. They also have a hayride which I didn't get on because there was a long line. I liked the string lights hanging around! I enjoyed my time here and would definitely come back in the future! We have been coming here yearly for 4 years now, ever since our son was born. Quite the event, tons of cute photo ops, hay rides and corn maze (for extra fee), a little petting zoo (well if you can reach them through the fence haha, with chickens and goats mostly), kettle corn, corn dogs, hot dogs and more for sale. They also sell hay bales, corn stalks and a variety of different types of pumpkins of course! The prices for pumpkins are based on size basically, we got a pretty huge one for only $10! I felt like it was a great deal and much better quality than the grocery store ones or the overpriced ones being sold at the landscaping place near our home. Quite a bit of parking is available and they even have a playground and wagons to carry your pumpkins in. Perfect for young families! Definitely my most favorite pumpkin patch I've been to. The only complaint I'd have are the bees. Never been stung by one but it's always a possibility. I guess they're attracted to the trash cans? There is so many pumpkins that they have to offer in various sizes. There's a pumpkin stand and they price pumpkins off size, not by weight which is really cool! I didn't get the chance to buy one but there were also gourds and other weird pumpkin things. This was a beautiful date spot as it hits sunset and even after the sun starts to set! The lights make it so pretty. I wanted to go into the corn maze but I'm really short and I'm terrified of getting lost in the dark, so we skipped out on that. I would definitely come back! This is one of my favorite pumpkin patches to go to! I am obsessed with all of the photo opportunities. They have a corn maze, a hay ride that takes you to see donkeys and cows that you can feed, animals that the kids can look at and two small play areas. The only reason why my rating is at a 4 and not 5 is because of the long lines. They should make two lines for a lot of their activities. The wait for the hay ride and tea was the worst. Although the line moves at a decent speed this took the majority of our time at the pumpkin patch. I recommend not parking at Halls Pumpkin Farm. The church right down the street offers free parking and it is so much easier to find parking without having to stress about the traffic. read more

Some employee named JOHN was so disgustingly rude to me that my whole experience was completely ruined and I ACTUALLY left in tears. Their prices are super reasonable and they have pumpkins right out front so you'll know what to expect price wise. Their little pumpkins are a little pricey ($2 each) but they are a must have and they usually last the whole season. **TIP** Make sure you bring cash. (see tip). They are cash only. They have ATMs there but there are almost $5 in misc fees on top of your selected amount. Parking here is free, which is great!
