What a wonderful place to have a fun birthday party for both girls and boys! The staff was friendly, pleasant, helpful and did their jobs wonderfully. The Cinderella host never broke her character and was sweet and pleasant towards everyone. The room was decorated beautifully (I brought in the sequined table runners, confetti gold centerpieces, pink ribbon/cherry heart disposable placemats and the Mylar balloons to give the environment an extra flair). The costumes that were supplied by the venue were in great condition and the food and treats were a big hit with everyone! The price was in the range expected for everything that was provided. A nice little princess shop right in the heart of Grapevine Texas. If you are a parent of a little girl this is the place to be! The lady who works here is very nice and accommodating. The concept here is that you can have a fast five minute tea party for $10-$20 depending on the day. This is a mini makeover, includes nails being done up and a lil makeup, that includes a cupcake. Also she received a tiara and a wand. Not really a tea party but my five year old daughter loved the experience. They also have room for bigger tea parties as well and birthday parties where you can schedule and invite guests. 15 guests in total for the larger tea parties. Must wear a mask, and take a temperature check. The store sells tons of bows, dresses, headbands, glitter makeup and princess costumes. If you are visiting from out of town, say the Gaylord, Great Wolf Lodge, or laying over at DFW airport for a few hours, and you have a daughter who is into princess stuff and tea parties, highly recommend if you have a little daughter and you are looking for time to kill that stop by and have a fun experience. read more

I didn't realize when you book online the deposit they charge you is nonrefundable. So, you get charged an extra fee you don't anticipate. Not super cool. I had my daughter's birthday here in January with Elsa. Staff was great, attentive, friendly and paid attention to detail. I didn't have to do anything but pay for their services! My daughter is still bragging about hanging out with Elsa, getting her makeup done and having a dance party. I think owners have changed from my last post in 2013. We had given it another shot with a Groupon again during an non-peak time and had a better experience. Then out of the blue my daughter asked my MIL to have her birthday here so My daughter recently had her birthday party here. Cost of the particular party runs about $300 for 6-9 girls and for us include goodie bags, dressing up, snacks, cupcakes, tea, a hot chocolates, hair and makeup & a parade to the gazebo. It's $21-22 per extra kid with a deposit required to book it ... so honestly given the fact food& cupcakes are included where at other places it's add on it's about right for a party. As well you can open presents if there was time. The kids had fun which is the important thing. As most of the kids were 8/9 years old 3rd graders; one kindergartener & a 5th grade aged friend, I was worried about if they were to old for it but I think with the group of kid it worked out as a one of the last years we could have pulled this off. We didn't get to do the parade to the gazebo part, with no explanation to why we didn't. Had a couple parents ask me why & the best guesses I could give was things started late from the previous party, one girl spilled her drink & needed to change which for some reason got the other girls thinking they needed to go ahead and change too ... not quite sure ... So I think that I could tell it threw the rest of the party for a loop as the employees got distracted for cleaning up the spill. As well the 3 toddler sized siblings were getting into everything we opted to just open gifts. The one thing I would have changed was the employees just started doing makeup & hair without any real announcement & just started working on who jumped to the station first. So some of the girls wouldn't have noticed it was happening, including the birthday girl, if parents of the kids who were still changing or playing while waiting for activities hadn't told their kids when a spot opened up. Also they could use a few more size 12, 14 & 16 costumes as the ones they had got grabbed quickly and the birthday girl spent half the party trying to find something she liked to wear to no avail because the few things in her size had already been grabbed. Which is why I think she missed out on some of the make up and hair activities. We got the whole tea area to ourselves which was a plus. Though we had a few random families look in from the store as they shopped in the store or set up their own tea party thing. read more

I had never been to this business so I had no idea what to expect. The front part is a storefront and my two daughters had so much fun looking through everything before the party started. Very friendly environment and wonderfully child focused. I took my two oldest granddaughters (6 and 3) and the girls were made to feel very special as they experienced the tea party with Ariel. "Ariel" was perfect (and I mean PERFECT!) and I look forward to taking my youngest granddaughter for a tea party when she is a bit older. Ariel kept up a conversation with the girls and she was so good with engaging them! The 6 year old addressed Ariel as "you" rather than "her" proving she believed Ariel was real and not a dressed up person. My seven and nine-year-old nieces absolutely adored it. It's a really cute store made up a super girly and pretty, so a nice setting for pictures and very good at transforming them into a princess zone. They loved the cat walk, dressing up, getting made up and the tea party itself. Going in, the nine-year-old was skeptical and said princesses were stupid, so we were just hoping she would be non-critical, but she wasn't planning to participate, but within two minutes of being in the store, she decided also to dress up and do the whole shebang. We did the Enchanted party, so the girls absolutely loved getting to ride in a horse-drawn carriage! Despite this Texas sun! Don't get me started on the boutique! This is an excellent place for a birthday party. We had our daughter's 5th birthday party at the Downtown Grapevine location. Our daughter and her friends had an amazing time. It started with the little girls picking a princess dress. They had multiple sizes in each style. The dresses were in good condition. Each little girl got eyeshadow, nail polish, and glitter. They then had a tea party. After the tea party they had a princess parade to the gazebo in grapevine complete with a bubble machine. The party concluded with a dance party and fashion show. My daughter has fun and as many of the other reviews point out, that's the whole point. However, I was very disappointed in the experience. We did a Groupon deal that was $20 for a "$51 Frozen themed experience"-- tea, cupcakes for one mom/daughter duo and nails, make up, and updo for the girl. Had I paid more or paid the retail price, I would have been livid. So not worth it. 1. The dress up clothes were dingy, torn, and nothing special. They were mostly the type of play clothes found at Target or Wal-Mart. In other words, nothing special. If they want this to be a unique experience, they should invest in higher quality dresses that aren't as dirty and cheap or ubiquitous. I would at the very least expect the quality of princess dresses found at The Disney Store. 2. The make up was garish and also questionable. It appeared to be the type found in the costume aisles around Halloween. With so many fun and colorful make ups available for dress up and fun, it was such a sad selection. 3. The Frozen-theme = the Frozen sounds track and blue cupcakes. I don't exactly expect Elsa or Anna to appear, but for the supposed price of $51... They need to do more magical than this. For $20, it was fine. 4. Tea and cupcakes were meh. They served it as my daughter was getting dressed so there was no real tea service with the pouring from a teapot and no refills. It's a little thing, but would have added to the charm. It felt like we were just being issued a drink from a snack counter rather than having a special tea. Went in after discovering the place on Groupon. Our experience wasn't bad at all! We were lucky to book on a day that wasn't busy at all so maybe that has a lot to do with it. It was my baby and another girl. Clothes were a little worn and maybe they should consider acquiring some new ones but my baby didn't really seem to care, she had so much fun. We danced and she kept asking for more raspberry tea. I took my mother in law and the lady gave her a cupcake and tea free of charge (Groupon was only for two), so that's definitely cool points!! I'm not sure why this place has so many negative reviews. Our experience there was fantastic. We went on a Thursday at 2 pm, and my 2 year old loved it. There are a ton of dresses to chose from, and of course they are worn. Kids aren't exactly gentle with dresses, nor do they care if they are worn. They just care that they look beautiful and feel like a princess. My daughter was more concerned with her nails, hair and make up anyhow. The woman working ( unfortunately I forgot to get her name) was so patient with my toddler. I will say that it was a slow day for them, so I'm sure that helped. Super cute concept for a group of little girls!! Went with 3 other mother/daughter duos (all of our kids under the age of 3) and it was an adorable morning. The front half of the building is basically a retail wonderland where your child can ask you to buy a bunch of cr*p you don't need for a crazily marked up price. The back half is where the tea party actually happens. They also have a changing room and a little bathroom. The girls all got to pick out princess dresses and accessories, then had their hair, makeup, and nails done. The girl who did their hair did great; they all got little buns that got sprayed with glitter hairspray and it was the cutest thing ever. The girls got to chose their own nail, lip gloss, and eyeshadow colors. When they were all "ready," we sat down for cupcakes and tea. The cupcakes were really tasty, and we were able to chose between chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. I tried a strawberry one and felt better about eating a cupcake before noon after I had it because it was so delicious. We had no service issues as we were the first reservation, right when the store opened. The two ladies who were working were very nice, and extremely patient with our kiddos, who at age 2 were definitely at the lower limit of how old your kid should be to do an activity like this. I will say that it would have been helpful to have an additional person to do hair and/or makeup so that the girls not being worked on didn't have to wait quite so long. And yes, the dresses were kind of old and ratty and could use a refresh. They were running a special where it basically cost $20 per mother/daughter duo, so at that price point it was definitely worth it. I'd go back again. read more

Attended a 4 yo birthday party. The girls who worked there were very very sweet. The low star review had nothing to do with the staff. After we left the party I looked it up because my daughter loved the tea and wanted her party there. When I saw the prices I was baffled. Like the other reviews said it is extremely outdated. Costumes are dirty and smell of dust, nothing is organized, not a lot of accessories and there wasn't even a whole lot of room to walk around. When I saw the cost of getting your nails done you would think it was a manicure - it's not. Just painted nails with regular paint and nothing special. The makeup was just eye shadow applied w a q tip......luckily I did not pay. Very cute idea but needs a huuuuuuge renovation. Or maybe just lower the prices. read more

We went there for a friend's 4th birthday and the decor is adorable and the party was complete with a dress, nails and makeup of the girl's choosing, a mini "coronation" ceremony, tea and snacks and cupcakes (the jelly sandwiches have sprinkles!) and then a parade where they teach them how to wave like a princess. Inside the store part there are SO MANY cute and very reasonably priced outfits (most if not all are $15, $2 for bows). I can't say enough great things! So I haven't been for a tea party but stopped in during the Main Street festival. There weren't any tea parties then because it was all blocked off for the festival, but they were doing hair, makeup and nails for little girls for a discount. The staff was amazing and very friendly. read more
