Pretty cool piece of history. This is where Parts of Walker Texas ranger were filmed.

Mike was our tour guide...and let me tell you he KNOWS the story...the facts...and the background…read moreof the day that changed American history(he was born and raised nearby). His tour is intertwined with humor, news clips, police radio broadcasts and numerous stops along the parade route of that fateful day. Frankly, I'm amazed that he can drive a tour trolley and speak the ENTIRE 60 minutes!! I know there are three different drivers, but if you can possibly be lucky enough to get Mike to conduct your tour, you'll be more than satisfied - kinda reminds me of John Goodman...funny AND knowledgable! WELL worth the $20 bones it costs for the almost 1.5 hr tour of downtown Dallas as well as the boarding house and routes that Oswald took after the shooting, from killing Tippit to being captured at the theater. Thank you Mike for making the JFK assassination tour informative, humorous and factual...unlike the BS the conspiracy theorist was tossing out across Dealey Plaza!! :) Craig N.

Dallas only see below I am really upset with the Big bus…read moretour in dallas. We paid for Hop on Hop off tickets. They put us on the city tour. We were not giving options to hop on and hop off to look at any of the attractions as advertised on the website. We had to get off at a location not near the final stopping point because we needed a pit stop. The lady told us they would not be back to pick us up or that there was not another bus coming. This is not a way to conduct a business. We were not told they put us on City tour if that's what they did. So we were expecting to be able to do sightseeing at each of the stops we wanted to get on or off at. What is the use of advertising a Hop on Hop off tour if you're not going to allow the customer to hop on and hop off where they stop and get on the next bus. We ended up paying for other transportation to get back to our car because we are two miles away where she dropped us off. This is very disappointing. We haven't had good experience with most of the bus up on and Hop off tours over the years, but this one was bad because we couldn't get a hold of anybody to talk to them about anything.

The farm is 10 acres, there is a barn/farm equipment/small general store/sheep, chickens, turkeys/original house built in 1869 you can tour. The docents the day we were there were dressed in pioneer clothes and were so friendly and informative telling us about the Nash family and the history of the farmstead and about the animals. They have lots of events from the looks of it. I highly recommend a stop here if your in Grapevine.

Our first impression was wow! The present neighborhood built around a farm that's been in Grapevine since the 1850's. And the farmer was there tending to the garden when we arrived. The house was open for unguided tours of the upstairs and downstairs. After touring the house we met the farmer. My granddaughter got a chance to talk to the farmer and go with him to pet the sheep. We also went to the Farm store on the property and my daughter bought chicken feed. My granddaughter fed the chickens and that was adorable to catch on video. If you're a history buff or if you enjoy museums Nashville Farm is definitely worth a visit. They accept donations but admission is free.

How to describe Food Walks of Texas? Fun! I was skeptical at first but, given as a birthday gift, I…read morerolled with it. Three of us met Tall Paul, the owner and tour guide on the square in McKinney Texas. When thinking about starting the business,he and his wife attended a school in Chicago on the subject. Evidently, Chicago is known for food tours. Basically, over a 5 hour period(it was supposed to be 31/2) Paul walked us around old downtown McKinney enlightening us on the history of this lovely North Texas Town and stopping in for small bites and drinks. Our first stop at 11 am on Sunday was an Irish pub! I have to think back a long time to remember when I may have been drinking beer at 11 am on Sunday! I bet 100 years ago people of McKinney would have been up in arms over beer drinking any time on Sunday, especially before church! This is the type of thing that Food Walk and Paul made fun to think about. Our tour wrapped up at a great place with oysters and some lovely mixology drinks. I think if you are open-minded and can roll with it, this may be something different that would expand your horizons. I say, Go!!!

The knowledge was there. The passion was there. The interaction was there. My questions were answered. He showed us video footage during our walking tour to back the events of 11-22-63. And because the walking tour was just my mom and I, he drove us along the route. We discussed every turn, every conspiracy theory and never missed a beat. It was a tour from someone who lives and breathes his job. I will gladly take a longer tour in the future because there is so much more I want to see. Side note: I was impressed with how downtown Dallas preserves its history. Everything along the route was there in 1963. I post on more than one platform so I will be leaving this review there and this is my personal first hand experience.

He reached out via text prior to start of the tour to provide important information and just say hello and introduce himself. Photo included! He was a great driver and very patient with participants. It was unseasonably hot that day and he kept checking to make sure everyone was doing OK. Even assisting the ladies(myself included) into and out of the van. I love that it was a small group. Makes it more personal. We went to all the major sites in just over three hours. Cost is very reasonable($62.99) and I booked through Viator who also does a great job! This tour is HIGHLY recommended!
