Location North Katy Trail-Knox-Henderson Parking We were walking the trail so not sure but we parked between lemmon and blackburn Atmosphere Classy-a bit asian/french. Service Attentive, friendly Seating Outside bar, patio couches and tables, inside bar-stools Menu Appetizers, salads, full bar-bakery. We had the spring rolls-excellent! Served with fresh romaine leaves and basil-rolled spring roll up in it as directed. The orange sauce on the side-a bit runny for me but good. Full bar and specialty cocktails. Beer is 12 ounce. Wine list good. Summary Love this classy spot on the trail-chill and great menu! Best spring rolls ever!! Fresh veggies! See you there!!

This coffee shop was absolutely beautiful. The decor and colors were so pretty. I got the iced strawberry matcha with almond milk and 2 pumps vanilla: 10/10! It was so good. Even though, I was there for an event, the staff moved pretty quickly pumping out 60+ orders and they did it well. Would definitely return.

    Matcha morning bun!

Came back to try the iced matcha latte. Service was meh. It looks like a bunch of us just waiting around to order. It might be the air itself that workers are frustrated. It took some time to place an order. I ordered that matcha morning bun and an iced matcha latte while milk. The bun was gushing out green matcha. It was ok. The matcha drink was absolutely disappointing. It literally tasted like drank dyed whole milk. This altogether was for almost 18$. The drink itself was 10$. For that price, this had to be a good drink. Absolutely not. Will never come back for the matcha quality tbh. It can get pretty busy and crowded inside.

The perfect spot for a rainy working sesh does exist! And it just might be here at Rose Cafe! For starters, the ambiance. The cafe sits right off the Katy Trail, perfect for even sunny days when you're walking with friends or even a pup and need a pick me up! The vibe inside is decked in beautiful green and pink hues making it super cozy. We decided to sit on their covered patio, and bc it was rainy, it was super relaxing. We didn't enjoy any food, BUT we because we came for a working sesh, we decided on coffee and matcha. My friend got their strawberry iced matcha and she loved it. I decided on getting their honey lavender latte. It was so delicious and came in the cutest cup! I will say their pricing is on the higher end, but as expected being it's located on the Katy Trail. I also found out they made the Lavender Honey syrup in house! Overall a great experience! We will definitely be back for food!

I made reservations the day of and was able to get a table. Upon our arrival our table was reserved and we sat right away. The sitting area is outdoor and faces the Katy Trail so the scenery is beautiful. Service is friendly and super quick. I ordered a Strawberry Jam donut and Cappuccino to start and they both got there pretty quick. For my main meal I got the Ham and Cheese Croissant with a side salad. Everything I had was amazing! The croissant was flavorful and the salad was deliciously fresh. I loved how you can easily pay for your check via QR code and split the check if needed. I would definitely be coming back again.

The Rose Café is such a great spot, especially because of its location right on the Katy Trail. It's perfect for people watching, meeting friends before a walk, or grabbing food and drinks afterward. I really love the open seating concept it feels welcoming and relaxed, and much more attainable than a lot of Dallas restaurants. The vibe is great without feeling snooty or overdone. The atmosphere is lovely, the drinks are excellent, and the salads are fresh and well done. It is definitely on the pricier side, but aside from that, it's a really cool spot and one I'd absolutely recommend for a casual hang, a walk break, or an easy meet up with friends. Bonus tip - they have dog popsicles and mine is a huge fan!

Casual, relaxing, and, stylish is this cafe along Katy Trail. A great stop after my KT walks and a lovely spot this makes for a tête-a-tête in the afternoons or early evenings. Amazing is their takeout service. I've returned many times in the mornings already for their unique and delicious pastries, including their "Matcha Morning Bun" and "Mushroom Croissant"! CHEERS!

This place was beautiful, and the coffee and breakfast taco were so good. The owner was super sweet. This is right off the Katy Trail so you can grab a coffee and walk as well. There's not a lot of Cambodian and French owned influenced places in Dallas, so please come check it out and support.

    Fried shrimp sandwich

Gorgeous cafe with a French aesthetic. We dined in with our puppy on a Saturday afternoon. They were packed but we were seated quickly, the tables are very close together and no one minded the pup. Ordered the fried shrimp sandwich - SO GOOD. It comes with a pineapple sauce that brings a bit of heat, the sandwich is great with and without it. Ordered the chocolate croissant to go, it was fresh and well made. Service was slower and water wasn't filled timely as there was only one waiter working 6- tables but we didn't mind, we were dining during prime hours. Removed one star bc the food and drinks are oddly overpriced for the items and portions received. It's a lovely place to enjoy a quick bite and I liked how they offer pistachio milk as a milk selection at their coffee bar. Will be back!!

Sunrise Bowl add red onions and cabbage remove the egg

Towards the end of my dog and I's walk, I stopped in to grab a mid-day lunch. The wait staff we're welcoming and kind. The service was a little slow when it came to refilling my water and at the end to get my tab. I think it was because the lady helping me was getting off shift. Not that big of a deal, but something to be mindful of. I ordered the Sunrise Bowl with a few substitutions. Swapped the egg for red onion and cabbage. It was a nice healthy bowl and what I was looking for. Small but hospitable place.

    10/10 Best Matcha Latte

This pairing is a matcha made in heaven. 10/10 would order again. Excellent customer service! Bonus: it's just steps from the Katy Trail, making it a great post-walk treat spot. Great matcha, great energy, great location. Will definitely be back!

I've given this place three chances, and unfortunately, it keeps missing the mark. The iced latte was disappointing every time--no one in our group enjoyed it, and at $9 a cup, that's a tough sell. On my third visit, we switched things up and tried the Butterfly Pea Lemonade, but it was so overwhelmingly tart it was almost undrinkable. That said, the buildout is absolutely stunning--easily one of the best interior designs I've seen from Travis Street Hospitality (or anyone, for that matter) in 2024. The space itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, it seems like they're still ironing out some serious logistical challenges. For a café located in one of the busiest pedestrian areas in the city, it's shocking how poorly the experience flows. Some major issues: The layout doesn't accommodate a line--there's no clear space for customers to wait to order or pick up their drinks. How was this overlooked during such a meticulous buildout? On my first couple of visits, the bar area was cluttered with syrup bottles and other random stuff, making it look chaotic and disorganized for the baristas. On my most recent visit, they seemed to have cleaned it up, so maybe that's a sign of progress. I haven't tried their pastries yet, and they do look promising, so I'd consider coming back just for that. But when your main product is coffee, and you're positioned as a key spot for Katy Trail walkers and Dallas locals, the drinks shouldn't be this bad. Not sure if there's any hope of this place closing and transitioning to a new concept, especially since Travis Street Hospitality has a deal with the Terminal--they also lease the space next door for Le Pasage. But I really want this place to succeed. I'd gladly drop $10 on an iced drink every time I walk the trail--if only it were actually good.

    Pan au chocolate
    Alan R.

I had a great time at the Rose Cafe. I got a pan au chocolate and a latte both of which were excellent. The pan au chocolate was well and not overly dry with a great balance of chocolate to pastry. The latte also tasted high quality. Service was friendly and the ambiance was nice. Although it is a bit expensive, I would recommend stopping by here.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.
