First time sitting outside and second time visiting the restaurant. We went to an art exhibit on the second floor and the sat outside for drinks. There is a nice, private courtyard in the back that we enjoyed sitting in. The food was great- I like the wings and the sauce that comes with the yuca fries.

Romantic and cozy spot for a evening cocktail. I've been wanting to try this spot ever since I learned about it, and it did not disappoint. Came by for a late night drink and loved the antique and elegant decor and low lighting. I sat on a couch and got table-side service. The server was able to recommend his favorite cocktails, and they were absolutely delicious and beautiful as well! I'll definitely be back to try their food sometime soon.

Well Well Welll !! My niece loves this place!! I finally tried and I absolutely understand why my niece loves it!! It's super easy to locate this establishment, plenty of street parking, a huge vibe!! The décor was so chill, relaxing, and comfy. I met a friend there before a show nearby. We sat at the back bar. We were greeted and assisted by Cierra. She was GREAT! She answered all of my questions regarding food and beverages. Watching her make beverages was so cool!! Poetry in motion. I swear we watched her make at least 10-15 beverages in 30 minutes. Well, it sure felt like it. They were all so pretty. Collectively, we ordered the following. Smoked Collard Greens - Good Roasted Sweet Potatoes- Great. Well seasoned. Wings: Rum Buttered Buffalo - Flavorful, tender. Liberian Meatballs - Yum! Saucy, Spicy. Lionheart (Mocktail) - VERY refreshing. Delish. Fashion Killa - Interesting beverage. Great beverage!! Koko's Ginger Beer - A popular menu item !! My friend loved it. Loved it a lot. Everything came out pretty quickly. I can't wait to visit again to try more food and beverage items.

I'm really happy that Baltimore has so many chill, upscale, and homestead places like Mamo Kokos. This is where I want to bring my friends when we want to catch up but also enjoy nice bites and drinks. We came in for post lunch drinks and treats. I ordered an affogato and mocktail. The waitress was kind and kept us in the loop when the bar got backed up. We also ordered the warm cookies and it paired well with my affogato!!! Definitely coming back!

Mama Koko's is definitely still a vibe! Just be mindful of the different timings of their various menus. There is a breakfast/lunch menu, a separate happy hour menu, and then a late night evening menu. There is some cross over, but you could very well go thinking you can get a certain thing and it will not be available. Table service is available after 5pm, order at the counter before then.

My friend and I stopped by on Friday since we were close by and checked out the menu but did not order anything but loved the ambiance and music. However on Sunday I went back for breakfast with my girlfriend, I got the Balt' Cro'gel which was amazing & fresh with a iced matcha latte with the flavor toasted marshmallow. My girlfriend got an old fashion which she enjoyed it & smash burger, the burger has sauce that paired well with the burger. The food came out fast and once we were done we appreciate the staff asking how was it? As a first timer I will be returning !

Tried this place for the first time. I had the mango iced tea and it was the perfect amount of refreshing and sweet but not too sweet. I think my only issue was there was too much ice in my drink so I finished my drink faster than I would've wanted to, but I think next time I'll just ask for less ice! I also had an apple turn over and it was so delicious. Service was good and attentive. The ambiance is really chill during the day. After breakfast, pastries are $1 off and then they have a happy hour staring at 3 pm. There are also some cool events that take place here and I'd love to check out

My friends and I stopped by after a walk, and we were greeted with amazing energy. The place itself is well decorated and the ambiance in there is so light and fun! We saw some people working on laptops while others sat and talked on the couch. I had a strawberry matcha during happy hour and it was good, I added extra sugar to mine to sweeten it. The staff was helpful and very nice, I would recommend you check this place out.

Don't walk, RUN to this establishment. The food is immaculate the vibes were on 10 every single time. I teleworked from there this week, and the space was so chill, the playlists always have my favorite songs, and the service is so good. I visit Mama Kokos as least once a week! They never miss.

I love it here from the food to the ambiance! I got the bacon crogel sandwich and a strawberry matcha which both were really good and the service was pretty quick. It's also more than a cafe and full of other black owned businesses and art. Such a beautiful space overall!

What a hidden gem! I stopped here on my way to my art class at MICA and I will definitely be back. The place is gorgeous! Several beautiful rooms to choose from and a bar with friendly staff. The peanut butter latte was out of this world! I also got a coffee cake and they heated it for me too!

I have been dying to get here! We visited on a Wednesday around midday and it was still a vibe with the perfectly curated music playing in the background. They were still serving breakfast and they also had lunch bites available. We chose a cozy spot by the window while we looked over the menu. We placed our order at the bar. It wasn't too long of a wait before our food was brought over. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito and I tasted my boyfriend's shrimp and grits--delicious. I would have had 7 lavender lemonades if it was free refills!! It was that good! I am looking forward to coming back to try different menu items and even to enjoy the space for various events that are held here.

This place is a blessing to Baltimore. Such a vibe. Good food. Good drinks. Good music. Good people. I go there when I want peace and fun. Such a community oriented business.

I turned back around to photograph the signage, while my party headed to the bar exit door. If I needed something, then I'd ask the waiters at the next stand (only a few tables away) You saw us sitting at the table at the entrance and never spoke to us once. I will never return! RUDE MANAGER Interaction 0/5 Note: All managers, stop by each diner's table, greet customers with a smile, DON'T be obnoxious and rude. I have never been splashed in the face during the shaking of a drink that was being made by the bartender. The bartender was of a different race and seemed annoyed by my presence from the jump. I had been splashed in the face twice until a customer of his race came and sat next to me. I did pay attention to his behavior while the woman was seated next to me and his drink mixing wasn't as aggressive. I had to go to the bathroom during my visit and told him I would pay before going to the bathroom so he wouldn't make any assumptions about me. I asked him to keep my drink behind the bar because the woman was still seated next to me. I came back and the woman eventually left. I was still finishing my drink and I was splashed 2 additional times. The last time I made him aware of what he was doing. His apology was disingenuous and passive aggressive. I left after this even though I had intentions on ordering desert and listening to the musicians that were about to get started. I did inform the manager about my experience prior to leaving. I'm leaving the review bc the experience still bothers me. If they have cameras at the bar I'm sure my reaction to the splashing can be observed.

I went an hour early before everyone else was supposed to be there to get on the waitlist, but the wait was until 10 pm!! So I quickly switched gears and called Benny's because I've heard great things about them. The gentlemen who answered the phone was so kind, and was able to squeeze us in on the fly on a Saturday night, and they weren't slow. Got there super early because I was already in the area, and my wife and I decided to have an old fashioned and an espresso martini at the bar while we waited and they were excellent. The ambiance was upscale but still managed to be relaxed and comfortable. We had a lovely dinner, the waiter was busy but was still attentive and patient. Our whole experience was awesome, so we were already going back in the future. Yesterday I realized a mistake on my bank account from the bar charge, so I called around 6 pm and spoke to the same gentlemen as before. He got all my info and promised he'd call back in 5 minutes. I didn't really expect 5 minutes because I know how crazy the dinner rush would be at an Italian restaurant with a Wednesday wine special. Not even 3 minutes later he called back, and explained what happened, fixed it and I got a follow up text immediately letting us know the refund was already in process. Now, I've been in the service industry and I was a bartender, so I understand that I'm going to be a little biased here but from beginning to end Benny's went above and beyond. They clearly appreciate their customers and love their work, it shows.
