This review is for a visit during the pandemic. Last month, my son was invited to a small birthday party (5 teenagers in total) at this location. The precautions taken during this visit were the best I've seen thus far from a facility of the type. For example, the person who greeted my son and I as we came in asked relevant medical questions and performed temperature checks. After temperature checks were conducted, we were required to wait at the check in podium until the party in front of us received their bands and paid for their items. My company took us here for a collaboration week happy hour event on a Tuesday. The place was virtually empty when we arrived. We had a few lanes for bowling. The company ordered a bunch of different foods (everything was good but nothing was amazing). The server for our group was very attentive and delivered drinks quickly. My wife and kids (4 and 2) met us there. Both the kids enjoyed bowling with daddy. Then they found the game room. The company had purchased some game cards with like 120 credits each and my kids ended up with 3 of them somehow. They had a lot of fun playing the games (of course they are 4 and 2...so they didn't have a clue what they were doing) We actually left before they could use all their credits and they went back the next day. They used the rest of their credits and turned in their "tickets" for some "prizes". They loved it. read more

After we bought the all day pass we were told that the bowling would be a 2 hour wait and that the employee would put us on the wait list. After hearing this we decided to do some mini golf, which was the only fun part about this trip. After golf, we went back to the cashier to ask how long until our lane is open. To which they replied "your name isn't on the list. You can't play bowling due to the amount of reservations ahead of you." We were told the bowling wait would be 2 hours and we are now being told we can't do bowling, which is the entire reason we got the pass in the first place. After hearing this, we wanted to get a refund on our passes, the employee then told us we can only get a refund on our bowling shoes which was only $4.60 out of the $29 we paid. Why? Since we did 1 round of mini golf while waiting, we were now ineligible to get a refund. All in all, since there was 4 of us there, we paid in total with tax over $100 for ONE ROUND OF MINI GOLF. It was my first time going to this main event in 10 years and I regret ever spending money here. All I want now is a refund but after speaking to what seemed to be a manager, I don't think I'll be getting any of my money back except for the $4.60 we spent on shoes. My nephew turned 9 and wanted to spend it at The Main Event! He had a great time!! There were children running everywhere, but my nephew had a great time. My only concern was the women's bathroom floor was wet and had paper towels on the floor. A lady with a cane almost fell down on the wet floor. I had to walk very slowly because my arm is in a sling and I was trying to not slip on the floor. The manager did respond well to feedback, but I didn't follow up to see if they mopped the floor. This place is clutch AF!!! I had a reso for 5 lanes and planned a big work and FMAILY outing... as the date neared work cancelled and family and friends stepped up... I got there and they were packed..... RESO was no where to be found...I put on calls to close friends who swiftly handled business... they connected me with Black Jimmy... kinda like Black Adam but way better!!! Jimmy swooped In and completely handled the situation!! We brought about 18 people here and it was perfect!! The food was outstanding, the service was great! My family had the BEST time here!!! It was 4 adults and 4 small children and we came on a Thursday night and it was perfect and not crowded!!! We did all you can play passes for us and it was fun and really not expensive It would've been way worse we had gone somewhere else We played so many games of laser tag I couldn't even count but we had so so so much fun, the bowling? I'm glad I'm at least good at that ha! We played pool but wished the rock climbing was open. We were sat at our bowling lane and we waited so long for our server to come ask what drinks we wanted. We ordered 3 waters and a root beer, they messed up our order and they brought us a Coke and no waters. They ran out of napkins, what kind of establishment doesn't order more napkins when they realize they are running low on them? Our server took forever to come back so we could order our food. They ran out of onion rings. We were wondering how many chicken wings came in an order but it did not say on the menu. We ordered a chicken quesadilla and two orders of wings, lemon pepper flavored, the first was one seasoned well and the second one was too lemony, they are inconsistent with preparing their food. I was so thirsty but we didn't even get our waters yet, they took took ages to get to us, finally got them AFTER we got all our food and had to ask two different servers for them, why didn't they bring them when they delivered our "root beer" (coke)? They brought pizzas to us twice that were not ours. The bowling lane kept malfunctioning and pausing, and there was no staff running the mini golf so we walked up to it wondering if we had to check in or if people just walk in even if they didn't pay to play mini golf. Drove across town to test the kiddos to a night out. Main event was busy. But not an hour wait busy. There were hour waits for bowling and laser tag. We purchased the activity passes. I wouldn't recommend this but it is cheaper for the activity pass than the individual attractions. Food service was lightning fast I must say. We had our food within ten minutes of ordering it. I dare say within five. The chicken strips were hard and overcooked. Loaded fries were delicious; guacamole bland. Bumpers on lane ten didn't work properly. Only one side worked. When I went to inform the attendant, they were already aware. Why they didn't give us a different lane initially, or at least inform us, I'll never know. Kids enjoyed laser tag and the arcade games. They have only one automated redemption station and it was broke. Which made redeeming a slow process. This was foreshadowed by the four card stations working at 50%.. still, it was an enjoyable night out. read more

The food and the drinks are the main reason I am giving this 3 stars. I did not even attempt to bowl. This is a place I really only go when someone else picks it as the place to meet. I would rather Dave and Busters or Pinballz to be honest. But to be fair that really all comes down to one major issue here. The putt putt golf area. It is a free for all zone. Almost everytime I have come and tried to play it has been a nightmare. Kids are running EVERYWHERE. All over the lanes, some don't even have putters, the ones that do don't pay attention to where they are swinging them when running. You can't play at all just do to that but then the "adults" factor in. Last time we tried, there were two parties, one ahead and one behind us that made it even worse. The one ahead of us at 2 guys and 2 women and at least one of the guys was DRUNK and I think maybe not all there...Childish I mean. He tried to climb the walls between the holes and almost brought down at least 2 of them. Was loud, had a Trump shirt on...Then he opened the emergency door setting off the alarm. Am employee came at some point but in that space I got a head ache but the dude stayed and kept playing! His friends were not as bad but they didn't stop him. The ones behind us just wanted everyone to hurry, We finally just let them pass but no one was going anywhere with the number of people and the kids just everywhere. I see LOTS of complaints about the putt putt area, I love the idea but they need way better enforcement and effort put into it, I know it seems self sufficient but your putting too much trust in kids and stupid people. read more

Went here as we had a gift card. It was an enjoyable time, not too busy as it was later on a week night (8-9pm) The facility was nice. Everything worked. The staff were friendly and accommodating. That being said, there wasn't a lot of them, and we did spend a good deal of time waiting for drinks. To the tune of 20 minutes. Which we didn't spend bowling. They comped us back the time on the lane without a fuss. The prices were pretty high considering the competition. We brought 3 children 10 and under. They didn't enjoy the mini golf as much due to having to wait for people in front and then there were people behind us waiting. The parents sat at the restaurant portion the entire time and we had a host names Wheat and he was absolutely awesome, he checked on us frequently and was able to service quickly as well on a busy Saturday night. An all in one entertainment spot, this place is great! This was my first time there and they had a late night special where you pay $20 and you get to do everything (minus the video games) fir free till they close. Bowling, mini golf, laser tag, rock wall climbing, individually any one if these things could cost you what we paid for all of them. It was worse than a gas station, dirty diapers on the floor, the trash cans over filling, and dispensers with no soap or paper towels. 2) it took over an hour to get service at the bowling alley section. 3) it took as long to get service at the bar, then the drinks start coming, and one of them has a log hair in it. So we sent it back and got it replaced (thank goodness). 4) dome of the games are broken and just take your money, and no employees around to assist. Came here 4/23/22 . Really negative experience. My 12 yr old daughter was verbally harassed by grown men when she tried to join us in the laser tag line. Employees just watched and didn't intercede. After waiting 45 mins we made it to the front of the laser tag line only to be bumped in the queue by birthday party after birthday party. Don't come here unless you are part of a party, you'll be second class. We finally left the line to get a refund on the laser tag. I used to come here a lot, but not so much in recent years. They have refreshed the games, which is good. I brought my kids for their first time here, and the prize room is a mess. Most arcades have an orderly system where everything is labeled, and it's really my kid's favorite part of the visit to redeem prizes. Here most things don't have points listed on them for redemption which makes it impossible for a kid to determine what they want. Everything in there looked dirty. The whole room was in total neglect, and it took forever to check-out. I will likely go elsewhere from now on. If you don't bother with prizes, it should be fine. We went on a Monday night to enjoy their Monday madness special. I must say their specials are great way to save and have fun. For $10.95 per person you can select either arcade(some restrictions) or a package of bowling +rock climbing+laser tag + glow golf + pool. Woo it was great you can share your arcade card with friends and enjoy unlimited games! Quiet a variety of selection and games to play. Relatively cheap packages for the activities. Overall, this place is a great place to go out and enjoy a night out with the family. The staff is fast and friendly. There was no waiting list for billiards even though we paid for it, one of us had to sit by billiards and wait for table to leave. The only reason this place got two stars was because the food was decent. Highly recommend if you are thinking of coming here call first to see how long the wait is for bowling. We went on a Saturday and they said it was a 3 hour wait. They were having a special with all you can play bowling, pool, laser tag, rock climbing, and miniature golf for a decent price. So we put our names on the wait list and went to miniature golf. It was packed and kids running around unsupervised and not really playing. Then a group of 5 kids came in without golf clubs or balls just stood on our course. So we left that to go eat figuring we could at least get some food. It took awhile before anyone came over to seat us. Then it took awhile for our appetizer to come out and our waitress didn't come back to get our order for awhile, luckily for us we ordered through the kiosk. Kept having to ask for refills as it was way too many people for the number of wait staff to notice when you needed drinks or to wait on you. Pool was only sort of relaxing time. Finally got a text that our bowling lane was open. They had said that if no wait list you can ask to extend time and they let you finish your game if you are almost done if they have a wait list. Well the teenagers next to us swung their bowling balls around 360 and luckily didn't let go until it was done and thrown out on their lane and they sat on the seats covering both their lane and part of ours. They suddenly left and the family next to them started playing both lanes. Then both of the lanes' time was up so they left. Nobody came to replace yet the screens above all the lanes kept the scrolling messages of no extensions die to wait list. My wife and I were more than halfway done our game and our time stopped and there was nobody to ask to allow us to complete our game. The pictures show how crowded the line can get to get tickets and how many empty bowling lanes there were when our time was up. Do no come during the weekend if you value peace and quiet. We were waiting for 10 minutes in our bowling lane before we decided to order from the bar and when I was coming back to our area to grab my boyfriends ID after I ordered our drinks, she had asked if we wanted to order lol. After we grabbed our drinks at the bar, our server did not stop by our area even once. The bartender (Kellz) was AMAZING. He was super friendly and was the only thing saving our experience. I have no clue what our server's name was but she had bright pink long hair and she was not that great. There's nowhere to sit, they won't allow you to sit at the dining area unless you're "dining". The people at the front to pay for your lanes are rude as hell with nasty attitudes. It was a Monday afternoon and my husband and I wanted to do something fun out of the house. We opted out of Dave and Busters so what else could we do? We finally decided to check out Main Event after hearing about them on the radio. Yes, I am one of those people who still listen to the radio while in my car. No judgements!! I went on the website before coming here to see if they had specials throughout the week. I did sign up for their email club but didn't get the email deal until the next day. Boo! Anyway, we show up and they had a deal on Monday starting at 4 for $9.99 per person for all you can bowl, mini golf, laser tag, etc. We started off bowling for an hour. You can order food and drinks while you bowl for even more entertainment. Note that they do not sell pitchers of beer. We also played mini golf but wasn't a fan. The course is all glow in the dark. It was hard to see our balls (hahaha I said balls in my post) and all was lost and hard to see. Next time I want to check out the rock climbing wall and laser tag. One thing be aware of, there can be a lot of kids that are annoying. Someone needs to build an adult only entertainment center that aren't just strip clubs. read more
