We celebrated our daughter's bday here along with my husband and had the best time! Staff was friendly, place was clean, food was fresh and warm. of course the arcade machines are in pristine state, come to have some fun

I'm the 171. That's me spanking everyone else that evening!! Happy bday to me!!

Yesterday was my birthday, and we wrapped up the celebration at Main Event with some bowling and drinks with friends. We stopped by earlier that day to make a reservation, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. That evening, we checked in, grabbed our shoes, and bowled for about two hours. Our server, West, was absolutely amazing--he was a whole vibe! Super attentive, on top of everything, and just made the night even better. If you get the chance to have him as your server, you won't be disappointed! So I ordered the fried pickles, and they were outstanding--crispy, hot, and perfectly done. The jalapeño ranch was straight fire. My cousin and I demolished them in no time. Highly recommend! My cousin got the sliders, which came out fresh, but the burger patties could've used a bit more seasoning (maybe a 7 out of 10). Pro tip: add some of that jalapeño ranch to them--it bumps it right up to a solid 8. I had three espresso martinis (with Baileys), and they were solid--definitely a 6.8/10, but I enjoyed them enough to go back for more. Overall, we had a fantastic time! My wife and I already love their Monday night date-night deal with the wristband bowling specials, so we'll definitely be back. If you're in the area, Main Event is worth checking out--especially if you get West taking care of you!

We love coming here during the day to play pool. But they have so much more to do! If you complete the survey on your receipt you get $10 of free game play the next time you're there. We ate an early dinner here and loved our food. I had the taco smash tacos with crispy Parmesan Brussel sprouts as my side. It was so yummy. Hubby loved his Sunny side Up burger too! We like the cleanliness of this place. There is a little bit of maintenance needed in the women's bathroom in the first and second stall. And sometimes there is a little sand on the pool tables from a nearby billiards table. But all in all everything is well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great at our visit to Main Event, Austin, TX! Our team building event Funcilitator Cameron was amazing. Friendly, funny, and attentive. We bowled, did a scavenger hunt, and enjoyed the arcade. We also had a fajita bar setup and dessert. Everything was yummy and fresh! I definitely recommend this location and Cameron!

Had a great time tonight. Jay provided excellent service. As always a great time! Great place for a party.

I took my son and his friends here for his 12th birthday. It was early evening on a Saturday and not too busy. I purchased the "all play pass" for 5 boys and they spent about 3 hours doing everything. Right now the rock walls were not open but there was plenty to do. We had great food service and the staff was very friendly, present, and helpful. The kids loved the pretzels and they had gluten friendly options on the menu. Some of the games were missing the correct number of balls and a couple were broken. However, If a game took my credits I found plenty of staff to help. All in all, it was a successful birthday experience for my kiddo.

Activity Prices
Elyssa D.

My husband and I came here with some friends for a game night and it did not disappoint! We purchased the all you can play activity pass with the added gel blaster and it came out to like $39 each. We were able to play multiple rounds of gel blaster, laser tag, mini golf and bowling. Totally worth the $39 for the wristband! We also purchased a game card for about $30 to play some games. The prices definitely add up so be prepared or come on a discount day! We got a couple drinks from the bar, ordered a few while bowling, and got some food. Everything was good, no complaints! Even with how busy it was everything came out quickly. The only bummer about this location is the condition of the mini golf. There's graffiti all over, broken walls, busted decor. It's not super noticeable because of the black light but you can definitely see it. Best part of the night was the Gel Blasters! Think paint balling but with tiny water beads. still stings a bit depending on how close you get shot but it's so much fun! Definitely recommend!

Is it a good place to have a baby shower?

I don't think so. Unless it's going to be all kids at your baby shower. They don't really let pregnant woman play laser tag without having to go through a hassle. I would just choose a different place for that in my own opinion.

The menu isn't huge, but honestly that's usually a good sign -- focus on doing a smaller menu really well instead of serving 94 mediocre things and a sad waffle. I ordered the Bad Ass Bacon & Eggs plate. It came with thick-cut bacon, 2 eggs, hash brown casserole, wheat toast, and smoked salsa. Bacon - 9/10 This wasn't your average thin breakfast bacon. Thick-cut, almost pork belly style, with killer flavor and very meaty. Eggs - 9/10 Cooked perfectly and tasted fresh. Simple, but done right. Hash Brown Casserole - 8/10 Different than what I expected, but in a good way. Unique flavor and a great addition to the plate. Salsa - 7/10 Very homemade style salsa with a smoky flavor. Different, but really good. Atmosphere - 9/10 Loved the vibe. Cozy atmosphere, great music, and just an overall comfortable place to sit and enjoy breakfast. If this place was closer to home, I'd eat here often. Service - 10/10 Excellent service. Christy H. was friendly, attentive, and on point the whole time. Overall - 9/10 Definitely a must-try breakfast spot in Austin. They currently have four locations, and after eating here, it's easy to see why.

Vida Verde Kitchen -- A Hidden Gem That's Worth Finding…read more Austin is overflowing with trendy restaurants where the food is decent, the lighting is aggressive, and the wait time requires a light snack and a personality shift. I tend to avoid those places. Vida Verde Kitchen, thankfully, is not that. Tucked into a great area but slightly hidden (the kind of spot you feel proud to "discover"), Vida Verde feels like a restaurant that exists for people who actually want to eat, not just post. The menu is a thoughtful fusion of Tex-Mex, fresh flavors, and Americana--familiar enough to be comforting, but creative enough to keep things interesting. Yes, it's a bit overpriced, but the food earns its confidence. The guacamole is an absolute must, and anything leaning Tex-Mex is consistently solid. I can vouch. The wait staff deserves real credit here--knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in the food and experience, which goes a long way these days. The atmosphere hits that Austin sweet spot: industrial touches softened by lush green foliage. It's stylish without trying too hard, which is rare and appreciated. If I had one note? This place needs a happy hour and a few more solid specials. Do that, and Vida Verde becomes dangerous--in the best way. Overall: a unique, thoughtful restaurant that avoids the hype trap and delivers where it matters. Definitely worth your time (and thankfully, not hours of it).

This "private room" is just the back part of the restaurant and it is not private. Then they had a 2 man Karaoke duo singing the whole entire time right next to us! It was unbearable, so loud, not even good karaoke! We could not talk at all, we came to spend time with our family. These things should have been explained before we booked! The food came an hour later and hour and half for the rest of the table, so half of our table was done eating and waiting. They didn't even bring out the kids first, so then kids were starving. The quality of the food is good, but they really need to plan better. Would never bring a large group here. It's fine for a small table.

My husband enjoyed the chicken and waffles and isn't a big eater but it just wasn't a lot of food. It was literally ONE chicken tender divided between ONE waffle. Please see the pic. He said they were heavy on the honey butter and light on the chicken and waffles. This dish didn't come with any sides or other food. 2. Both kids (despite my advice) ordered breakfast. The eggs were ordered over easy and unfortunately they came broken and already runny (pic). The bacon on one was so very very crisp and on the other it was floppy. The hash browns were cooked in so much oil that it felt like you were eating oil - not potatoes. The biscuits were dry. The jalapeño gravy was tasty but we needed a lot more of it to make up for the dry biscuit. 3. Finally, I disliked my food last time which is why we hadn't been back for 4 years but everyone deserves another chanc. Today I ordered off their "specials" menu and got redfish. Redfish is one of my favorite fish so I was excited to try it. When it came I was happy because it was a nice sized portion (see pic). Then I tasted it. It was so fishy and as I picked it apart,I could see it was the blood vein piece. I could not eat it. My teenager is a vacuum and ate it. I then finished our 10 year olds left over eggs breakfast. The green beans under the fish were cooked well. I thought at least I can eat the green beans. Then I took another bite and noticed the SALT. I love my salt. I'm known to salt everything but these were just so so salty I couldn't enjoy them. I did eat them because I was hungry (and later my son's leftover egg dish). The other patios all had a wait. The server was sweet and the food came out fast.
