What a terrific concept, arcade and cider house put into one. Unlimited game play and a right off of the river. Perfect for honestly anyone, kids, families, friends, or couples wanting a day or night out. You can order food and the pizzas are great, plenty of seating both inside and outside to choose from. Tons of games from our childhood plus a bunch of newer arcade games which makes this place standout. We particularly loved the StepManiaX (newer version of DDR including the center button), nidhogg (hilariously competitive and super easy to understand), PBR Perfect Pour (I can't believe this was made into a game but it's enjoyable), bubble bobble, and super Mario kart racing, in addition to all the cool Japanese arcade games. We wish they had this back in Chicago!

Cidercade is definitely a great spot to go to hangout with friends, date night, or just vibing to great games and cider! I love how you only pay an entry fee of approximately $20 and you get to experience unlimited games for the duration of your visit. Cidercade offers a variety of games ranging from all the classics to modern day arcade games. Always a great time here. The ciders offered are amazing. I personally love the Peach Paradise. The pizza here is also phenomenal (I highly recommend the Meat Lovers). Service here is always friendly and the vibes definitely keep me coming back. The back patio allows you to see the city skyline views of downtown. You can also walk to the boardwalk within a short walk behind Cider Cade, allowing you a better view of the city skyline. Definitely recommend!

We're visiting Austin from the mountains of Western North Carolina and stopped by Cidercade--and had an absolute blast. Tons of games to choose from, all included with the price of admission, which made it easy to relax and play without keeping track of anything. The views of the river and city are gorgeous and really add to the experience. There were lots of fun cider options and a solid food menu (we didn't eat this time, but everything looked great). As you might expect, there were kiddos running around pretty freely--fun energy, but if you're a bit of a germaphobe like me, I'd recommend bringing plenty of hand sanitizer. Overall, such a fun spot, and we really wish we had something like this back home

A nice place for many different personalities to go to easy parking lot spacious. Outside balcony patio is available to sit and talk on and I guess if you need to smoke a cigarettes or vape inside is decorated and also playing games you do sometimes have to wait for others to get off before you can get on but a lot of different choices. Most of the time you'll stay busy playing something . bathrooms are available. drinks in the bar is available.. everything gets shut down at 12. All the games will be turned off automatically so just try to find the exit at that time. Pay for your tickets upfront and then go play.

Visited with some out-of-town guests and everyone had a blast! From adults to small children, you will be occupied with food, drinks, and arcades! For an entry fee of $12, all games were included! They had a great selection of racing, fighting, guitar hero, pinball, hooping, so much more! The drink options were plentiful and even the food options were tasty. A fun atmosphere all-around for all ages. Sit outside at their table with swings as seats while enjoying the view of Austin downtown! We will be back again! Enjoy!

Fun patio seating - A blue metal outdoor swing set with four swings, each with a blue seat and chains, is situated on a concrete patio outside a building. The structure is rectangular with a roof frame, and the swings are evenly spaced along the sides. The background features large windows with black frames, a white wooden wall, and string lights hanging from the ceiling. The setting appears to be part of a recreational or dining area.

One flat cost to play all the arcade games you want?? Yes please!! This place is huge with a ton of games of every variety to choose from most of the games were working and there was so so many games! Food available is pizza and they have soda all you can drink for one price. Although I constantly had to find my son's soda cup he left at different games luckily it wasn't very busy so there wasn't cup confusion.

Love the pizza & ciders. Our fav place to visit when coming to Austin. Never been disappointed.

Cidercade has hundreds of games and unlimited play for 12 bucks, and it's awesome. Sometimes, it's nice to get away from the ticket winning games and enjoy some good ol' classic arcade fun. My son had a blast and it was great experiencing all of the OG games with him. I'm not much of a cider connoisseur, but they did have some fun and tasty drinks. Just a head's up, they switch from all ages to 21+ at 8pm. Cidercade is definitely worth checking out with friends or your kids, or both!

$12 per person for unlimited play, such a great deal! We only had about an hour before heading to the airport, but it was still totally worth it. The place was busy, yet there were plenty of games to play. The cider and house-made hummus were yummy. It was cold when we went, but the outdoor area has river views and swing seats.

Kids love it! 4 and under play free until 9pm... the amount of entertainment you get for the price is really great. The staff are friendly and the pizza is amazing! Definitely recommend it

Cidercade proved the perfect escape when Austin's weather eventually turns (because we all know it will). What seems like a simple arcade transforms into a nostalgic wonderland where adults can relive childhood while sipping craft ciders. Game Glory - From vintage pinball to modern multiplayer madness Unexpected Pizza Win - Far better than any arcade food deserves to be Line Psychology - That "should we stay?" moment vanishes faster than your tokens

Pepperoni Pizza Burrito. - A slice of pizza burrito with melted cheese, herbs, and toppings is placed on a paper-lined tray. Two small containers of sauces, one white and one red, are positioned above the pizza. A yellow drink is partially visible in the background, along with a wooden surface. The tray has a printed design and the food appears freshly prepared.

Cidercade seriously surprised us--in the best way. We ordered the Hummus & Pita, which came with house-made pita and a creamy, flavorful hummus, and the Pepperoni Pizza Burrito packed with pepperoni, mozzarella, parmesan, and basil, served with both ranch and marinara for dipping. Every bite tasted like legit, high-quality restaurant food, not something you'd expect from a game room. The food alone is reason enough to keep coming back again and again--and the games are just a bonus.

This place is fun. Lots of games new and old. I like the concept of free play for one price. Staff was friendly. I was surprised at how clean it was. I would definitely come back.

Two clear plastic cups containing drinks are positioned on a dark wooden table. One cup holds a light amber-colored beverage, and the other contains clear water. In the background, there is a colorful promotional display with QR codes and graphics, indicating a setting at Cidercade Austin, an arcade bar with gaming and beverage options.

Ask the Community - Cidercade Austin

When the parking lot is full, where else can we park?

There is some street parking nearby, but we highly encourage ride sharing when possible.

Do you have a mechanical bull for kids to ride?

    No, there is not.

Does the Austin location take Apple Pay?

    Yes they do!

What are the peak times? Slowest times?

Cidercade is busiest on the weekends from open to close, and slowest weekdays during the day.

    Do they have tvs?

    I don't think so...at least I don't remember seeing any

    Is this place toddler friendly?

Sure is! There are some simpler, old school games like skee-ball that might be a fun activity they could participate in. Earlier is better, both to avoid crowds and because it switches to only 21+ after 8pm.

Where tf is Mario car dawg?

We're constantly rotating our games on the floor, so if you have questions about a specific game, please reach out to Cidercade directly at (737) 370-9461.

Is there an 80s night if so when and is there a cover!?

No 80s nights, but that's a decent idea! Feel free to wear your best 80s attire any time.

Do they have Mario Cart here?

I didn't see it. But that doesn't mean they don't have it.

Is $10/unlimited games a special or is this all the time?

Entry is $10 per person, and that gets you unlimited play on all the games inside. No specials or gimmicks! That's just what Cidercade does best!

As there TVs anywhere to watch football games?

Unfortunately there are no TVs to watch anything.

    Are they dog friendly?

    No they are not

Is it $10 for kids too? What ages?

Yes $10 per person - kids and adults. Kids two and older pay.

Do they have other types of beer, besides cider?

They have hard cider, with the occasional wine, hard seltzer, and hard kombucha. Here is a link to the menu: https://www.cidercadeaustin.com/

Do you have to make reservations?

No, you can just pay admission and go in.

We waited maybe 20 minutes to order then another 45 minutes for food, which wasn't that bad for a busy Friday night. We were crowded outside, and we didn't really have enough table or chair space. That's to be expected when we descended upon the restaurant with such a large group. For six people, we ordered three pizzas to share. We definitely could have shared with more people because we had some pizza left over. We got The Works, Shroomin' Goat, and Texas Chicken Ranch pizzas. The Texas Chicken Ranch was by far our favourite. It was really good, while the other two were alright. The crust was weirdly bubbly and amorphous looking. There was a lot of crust. The Works was okay. The sauce and meat weren't particularly tasty. The Shroomin' Goat was a vegetarian pizza with a lot of arugula, which is not my type of pizza, but our vegetarian friend said it was okay. Great vibes at Pinthouse overall though, and I have enjoyed their other pizzas in the past.

There is nothing more delectable than their unique and unbelievable slices of pizza. On top of that, their Caesar salad, and everything else in between is incredible as well. The only "issue" with Allday in Hyde Park is that you are always waiting in line. Their location in Hyde Park is their second location and is their most popular by far. Though the wait in line at any hour is worth it. Sometimes you just don't want to make that commitment. That's where their location in Terrytown shows up as the true superstar. Located right off of Lake Austin, the Allday Pizza is attached to Flo's Wine Bar and Bottle Shop as a walk up window. There isn't a lot of parking at Flo's, but plenty of free street parking right next to Allday on Pecos Street. What is crazy is that when we walked in at 12:15 PM on Sunday, might I add, there was no line to order. Plenty of people going to town on their pizza, but no line to order. This was incredible. In Hyde Park, a 12:15 PM arrival would mean a 1:30 PM meal. Not here! The outdoor space is shaded and well covered which was great for a rainy day like today was. You can also sit inside Flo's with your pizza and enjoy some wine alongside it. You can do no wrong here! Another reason I wanted to go to the Terrytown location was because unlike Hyde Park, they serve by the slice cuts of the Cacio E Pepe that I've been dying to try. After our order, we grabbed some plates, cups of water and napkins, and our food was ready in mere seconds. I had a slice of the Stracciatella, the Pep & Pepp, and of course, the Cacio E Pepe. The Stracciatella is creamy and delightful and the Pep & Pepp has a minor kick but really balances against the Stracciatella. The Cacio E Pepe was fantastic. No tomato sauce, but the peppery flavor (that you would expect in a cheese and pepper pizza) was outstanding. It tasted like a well done sauce on crust. My girlfriend got a Tomato Tomatoe that I tried a bite of and was impressed. The lemon pepper panko is just like the one included in the MVP Caesar Salad and it really did a lot of heavy lifting in the slice because it is simply so incredible. The salad which I got a bite of is delectable. How do the greens taste so fresh? Why is the dressing so delightful? It's still the best Caesar I've ever had. Because there was no line, we indulged a bit and got a Dirt Cup to share for dessert. It consisted of their Dark Chocolate Soft Serve, chocolate sauce, an Oreo crumble made in-house, and gummy worms. The soft serve gelato is nuts. I haven't had it at the Hyde location and this was my first impression. What a star on its own. I have not had a single bad menu item at Allday. You can't go wrong. Hyde Park's location might feel a little more sophisticated with its beautiful architecture, full bar with wines, cocktails, and beers on draft, and a little bit more expansive of a menu, but the Terrytown location feels a little more peaceful. It is in a beautiful area of Austin and the ability to arrive and be done with a meal in about 45 minutes is magical. I think Allday in Terrytown might take over the Hyde Park location as my favorite restaurant in Austin, but it's a close race like debating if Wemby or SGA deserves the MVP more. Both are ceiling raisers and the best food you can have in Austin. RIYL: The best food you can have in Austin with little to no wait.

I paired them with a glass of Nebbiolo. Both slices of pizza very much reminded of the pizza that I had in NYC -- thin crust but firm enough that they could easily be folded without flopping. The Stracciatella is absolutely delicious. I like that the sauce and cheese feel light but still noticeable in taste. I liked the Sweet Sausage even more, especially with the honey flavor from the sauce. Would highly recommend pairing a glass of red wine with the pizza for the best experience, but there is free water too if you need. Service: Very friendly! To order pizza, you just go up to a window, very self-explanatory. To order wine, you go inside up to the bar. Ambiance: + Parking is easy, it's street parking with no meters. + Restroom is very clean and nice: there are two individual rooms. + There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is nice even if it is cold out because of the shielding and plethora of heat lamps.
