When my granddaughter comes to Texas for a visit, she loves going to GattiTown and always has a great time. They offer buffet-style food stations with drinks, a salad bar, pasta, pizza, and desserts. She especially enjoys eating her pizza while watching a movie on the big screen. I'm not a big fan of the food, but it works for her. After we eat, we head to the arcade, which is full of bright lights and loud sounds. To play the games, you use a swipe card that you load with money. I usually put $20 or $30 on it, and it lasts about 30 minutes to an hour. There's a good variety of games for most ages. Then it's time for prizes. Mostly cheap junk, but she loves it anyway. Took my daughter to her best friend's 7th birthday party here. Giant space, the buffet had lots of pizza, pasta and salad options to choose from. Food wasn't of the best quality but kids enjoyed it nonetheless. Birthday parties are in dedicated party rooms for lunch and cake time, followed by arcade time. They played a Disney movie for the kids to enjoy while they had lunch. The party rooms are a little narrow and can get crowded depending on the number of guests. The food is very weird tasting. I always go here because my mom forces me to go. The food made me so sick and i was scared of throwing up so we had to leave the only thing that make up for it is the games i guess. But even those are a little strange too. This is my son's favorite restaurant. Obviously because it's a pizza buffet with a huge arcade in it. But to be fair, the food has always been consistent and the service has always been great. They have a great salad bar with fresh veggies, a pasta/spaghetti station, a nice variety of pizza options where you can also request your favorites, and some decent desserts. The arcade is also pretty impressive. It mostly has all ticket based games, but has a few other traditional arcade games as well. The staff was mostly meh. I think the majority of them did not want to be there. One kid working the token exchange was friendly, everyone else did their job. Food was decent. Lots of fresh pizza coming out. We came early, so not all the pizza lanes were open. But still a nice selection for all types of eaters. The Mac and cheese was surprisingly great. I don't dare try the salad bar. That's generally asking for "trouble" if you know that I mean. They had brownies and cinnamon pizza with icing for deserts and they were solid. Tea was freshly brewed. My middle granddaughter had her 11th birthday party here. They offer several large dining rooms playing different movies and one room with sports. The dining areas are clean. The workers are constantly clearing tables and keeping dining areas clean. The largest room is the arcade, but no food or drinks are allowed in the arcade. You pay for the buffet as you enter if you plan on eating. They offer several different styles of pizza and will make one upon request. They also have a salad bar, and a desert bar. When I was a kid my grandma would take me to the Gattis buffet in Austin. It was always so good and the only time you could try all the different types of specialty pizzas. This gattis on the other hand is terrible. The times we've come there's usually cold pepperoni, cheese, and maybe a veggie pizza out. There's also never any cheese sticks out. I was told that you have to special order them. When I've done that, they come out and are eaten before I can get to them. Don't advertise a buffet if you aren't really offering anything other than cold cheese and pepperoni pizza that has been sitting out. read more

This reminds me of a place called Incredible Pizza that we had in Tulsa when I lived there... the difference is... the pizza was edible in Tulsa. What's the deal with these mega fun play places with pizza? They completely forget that the pizza should be good! This is not fine dining. But it's fun. I love Gattis pizza. I grew up with it. All Austinites who grew up here love it. The Theme Park feel of Gattiland is a little much to deal with but arcade keeps kids attention. The pizza is great. The salad bar is fresh & getting refilled constantly. Huge TVs. Lots of sports, movies, cartoons in separate large seating areas. Would be very good for watching football all Saturday but no beer. The only turn off is the clientele. I think the customers must all be regulars. They ain't counting calories!! read more

I haven't been to Gattiland in a while (months). We visited tonight and were so impressed with the cleanliness of the dining areas and the hustle of the staff. I haven't been to GattiLand in forever!! So I was curious to see how it would be when I took my son just the other day. We went on a Monday since moms eat for $2.99 w/ the purchase of a childs buffet purchased & we also took advantage of the GattiLand coupon..A buffet, drink & $20 game card for $20ish price (can't remember exactly how much the coupon was for :). A helpful tip for you..GattiLand opens @ 11am & I highly recommend getting there around 11ish so you can avoid ALL lines..the line to pay, the line to get your food, the line to play the games... I have to say GattiLand really stepped up their game ;) in the arcade area..they now have a cool mini 2 lane bowling game, a huge connect four game that lights up , 2 regular size air hockey tables & a mini air hockey table for the lil ones & other really cool games! Myself & my 10 yr old really enjoyed ourselves. Now let's talk about food..the pizza buffet was ok..nothing to write home about but the salad bar was super fresh & delicious! My personal opinion on Gattitown is how it is very effective and is close to where I live and I have been going to Gattitown since I can remember it used to be called Gattiland... hell I still call it Gattiland and I have been going here all my life for example parties, coming here with friends, cousins and even my own birthday party here but something inside of me changed when it was my nephews birthday here. It was March 12th 2022 and it its also the last time I visited here, but when the kids were about to be released to the arcade I also had to go with them, because I needed to take care of my nephew and his cousins and friends, and this was a good thing for me and the parents because the parents could relax and I could enjoy the experience with my nephew. As I walked to the arcade my nephew told me... why am I not getting any tickets? As i noticed in the arcade I had only seen games just to have fun on and not really for tickets, and me and my nephew are a tickets guy we just want tickets and as I walked with my nephew I had noticed a pirate wheel game and this game has impacted me because I have had massive luck with this arcade game because of how lucky I get with this wheel and I have won a lot of jackpots on this game, and I usually spend all my credits on this just for the tickets, and I got a giant teddy bear for 3000 tickets and I said im going to play this everytime I come here, but everything changed when I had gotten bored of Gattitown, not because of the games, its the fact on how I only come here just to run and find a good game that gives tickets other than the pirate wheel, and I had realized why not use that energy that I always have to try to go to a trampoline park, and I am not saying that I hate Gattitown, im just saying that I am tired of trying to be the person I was then. A question is if I will still come here the answer is yes, but im not going to be myself as I was just running around just to try to find a good game that gives easy tickets, but just to eat the amazing food that they have! Im not just going to come here to the arcade im just only going here when I crave the food, because the food here is amazing. This place has REALLY stepped it up. I've been coming here since 2012 when my oldest was young. I took a break because the service, quality, and amenities were filthy and unorganized. However, I've come back twice in the past month. Idk what they did but it's working. They have a system in place that leaves the place stocked, clean, and running in a highly efficient manner. Honestly, I don't know where to begin. I have only been here two times and really would rather not go again. The first time I went was summer and my child asked to go as local kids had mentioned Gatti Land and my child wanted to play the games. Thinking it was like Chucky I headed over for the Tuesday game special. The place was empty and I was told when I asked to buy game cards that we HAD to purchase buffets. I explained that we were not there to eat just to play. (Food allergies - we really had no intention of attempting the food.) They said they would make an exception 'this time' - I am guessing because they had little other business at the time. So, we walked past the buffet line, and we played and it was fine. The kids had fun that afternoon. I have since only been here when invited with a group, and meeting there at dinner time, on weekend. It is NOT the best. I will break it down here: We had a coupon for $40 for four buffets and (4) $5 game cards. So, when you consider that none of the games are .25 the cards are quickly expired and the food is cheap and low quality. You get what you pay for with the food here. Upon arrival I noticed that the place was packed with people. Seriously packed. People standing outside, in the lobby, and every table area completely full. There were several parties in full swing. The environment is one of crowded, loud, blinky, grimy, chaos. The table areas had debris on tables and floors. There were people busing the tables actively. As one would get cleaned people quickly swooped in to occupy them. One table area had various sports media. The rest of the table areas featured only spanish language media. They offer pizza, pasta, and salad. Although the kids in our group were happy with the pizza and pasta it is definitely not high quality. The salad bar was my only food interest. The heels/stems of the lettuces were included in the salad. The mushrooms were unwashed. Who ever is over food prep clearly knows nothing about salad prep/presentation. This is a place you don't go to for the food - unless high volume is your primary interest. The one high spot was a fountain of Horchata. There were some other drink options there that were not typical as well, but I do enjoy Horchata so that's what I stuck with. This is a great place to practice/speak Spanish. The employees spoke directly to me, unprompted in Spanish several times. The kids in our group enjoyed the game area but found they had to wait in crowds at each game due to the volume of people. As a result it took a long time to exhaust the $20 in game credits our family had purchased. We survived. I would rather not go again. The kids just want to play the games. I agree with another poster, I just wanted to wash my hands - and bathe the kids when we left. read more

Abandon hope, all ye who enter here...unless you really love pizza and hordes of children. This place isn't exactly the nine circles of hell, but it can feel like it at times. This place is absolutely bonkers with kids. The inmates are running the asylum. They're up at the drink station, playing with the taps and mixing up crazy drinks. They're at the buffet line, shoveling pizza onto plates with little disease-vector hands. Some are just running and screaming in the central buffet area, darting underfoot and nearly inducing Americas Funniest Video-esque disc rupturing falls. The parents (defeated?) huddle in the wings, watching the nice big screen televisions. There is a room devoted to sports and others to kids movies and cartoons. The Gatti's jingle claims that this is the best pizza in town. The jingle is a lie. It is decent pizza for a buffet, and the lines at this location are always well-stocked. A solid salad bar and good choices of pastas round out a solid buffet. This location does feature a somewhat dated arcade in the back. I usually like to finish a pizza with a glass of vino, but a round of ski-ball seems to work ok as well. Recommended only for those with kids in Round Rock. For others, if you must go here, you may want to avoid during the summer school break and on nights and weekends. Otherwise, dining here is like living in Kindergarten Cop. read more

I owe an update! My son (3) & I came in for lunch Wednesday, and surprisingly it was kids eat free day! Score! I guess I figd that was a dinner thing only, but apparently it's all day. With 1 adult buffet, water, 1 free kids buffet & water, + a $5 game card, it was less than $13. BUT. As soon as we walked in, I was like WHOA. Complete surface remodel! Nothing dining room/buffet wise was moved or added, but decor wise it was VERY clean and updated!! They added in lots of new sodas and flavor buttons, juices & teas...but we don't drink sodas. Back when we did, those flavored buttons would have been a huge hit. They've also greatly improved their pizza, imo. I was thoroughly impressed by not only the variety of pizzas available, but the freshness and ultimately, flavor! It's not some Chicago or NY pizza, it's Gattis, but as someone that wore this place out from when they first opened, till now.. Definite improvement. Game room. I had NO idea they were "under construction" @ some point, but the game room is redone! This place is like chucke cheese on steroids same concept only better. First off there is a buffet 5.99 for kids 7.99 for adults it's all you can eat pizza, spaghetti, Mac n cheese, salad, garlic bread and several different desserts. Oh and the food isn't bad either it's pretty good for being so cheap. I also like how the eating area is in a completely different location then the games and they also play movies while you eat. Now on to the games! First of all I think it's awesome how they have a card system. Let me explain how it works you know at Chucke e cheese how you have to carry a cup full of coins around and hope you don't forget them on a game well none of that here all your game credit is on a card whenever you want to play a game just slide your card and your ready to play. Also instead of having to awkwardly carry around hundreds of tickets and have to wait for everyone to cash there tickets for you to finally get a chance to well none of that here either all your ticket credits go on the same card as your cash credit so when your ready to leave they scan your card and you pick your prizes so much easier and faster! Games here as awesome to! They have a lot of games to choose from such as doodle jump, bowling, and bumper cars yes bumper cars! Those are just a few of the games they offer. We were here almost 4 hours because there was so much to do I can't wait to take my lil man back here! This is a must try place to take the little ones. read more

It's been a long while since we came here. We used to more often especially when the kids were younger and they had bday parties monthly. We stopped coming after it got dirty and we saw a kid vomit in there near the food, the pizza area was a mess and things looked not clean in the eating area plus our kids got sick after going. So we stopped but idk we had a coupon from our kids schools so we braved it this time :) It was ok lol it didn't change much. Things used to be fresher and hotter at one point. The food was just OK. Pastas were tasteless and pizza not too fresh but still edible. Salad bar was good and happy to see it clean and pretty fresh. Drinks was a bit dirty there and it's always packed. It's dark in the kiddie room where a huge TV is playing cartoons. It feels morbid always. The game area was revamped. It has newer cooler games but still kinda costly vs a Chuck E Cheese and not as fun as D&B. But there is a cute mini bowling game so kids did that but it ripped them off pretty good. Prizes aren't that great at all. Don't get your hopes up in getting something big unless you play for hours here. Restrooms are OK. But the whole place just seems not 100% clean lol but we left content and won't be back again maybe for another 8 years but glad it was a good fun night overall. read more

Gatti Town has been a family institution for us for well over a decade. Children's and grandchildren's birthdays and just "lets go to Gatti's. We have, for a very long time been patrons of the Rockdale Gatti's. Our children grew up looking forward to Gatti's when we would visit great-grandparents and then grandparents in Rockdale. Now that we live in Round Rock, we still love going to Gatti's, even though our "little children" are now parents with teen children. read more
