We celebrated our daughter's bday here along with my husband and had the best time! Staff was friendly, place was clean, food was fresh and warm. of course the arcade machines are in pristine state, come to have some fun

I'm the 171. That's me spanking everyone else that evening!! Happy bday to me!!

Yesterday was my birthday, and we wrapped up the celebration at Main Event with some bowling and drinks with friends. We stopped by earlier that day to make a reservation, and the staff at the front desk were incredibly friendly and helpful. That evening, we checked in, grabbed our shoes, and bowled for about two hours. Our server, West, was absolutely amazing--he was a whole vibe! Super attentive, on top of everything, and just made the night even better. If you get the chance to have him as your server, you won't be disappointed! So I ordered the fried pickles, and they were outstanding--crispy, hot, and perfectly done. The jalapeño ranch was straight fire. My cousin and I demolished them in no time. Highly recommend! My cousin got the sliders, which came out fresh, but the burger patties could've used a bit more seasoning (maybe a 7 out of 10). Pro tip: add some of that jalapeño ranch to them--it bumps it right up to a solid 8. I had three espresso martinis (with Baileys), and they were solid--definitely a 6.8/10, but I enjoyed them enough to go back for more. Overall, we had a fantastic time! My wife and I already love their Monday night date-night deal with the wristband bowling specials, so we'll definitely be back. If you're in the area, Main Event is worth checking out--especially if you get West taking care of you!

We love coming here during the day to play pool. But they have so much more to do! If you complete the survey on your receipt you get $10 of free game play the next time you're there. We ate an early dinner here and loved our food. I had the taco smash tacos with crispy Parmesan Brussel sprouts as my side. It was so yummy. Hubby loved his Sunny side Up burger too! We like the cleanliness of this place. There is a little bit of maintenance needed in the women's bathroom in the first and second stall. And sometimes there is a little sand on the pool tables from a nearby billiards table. But all in all everything is well maintained. We will definitely be back!

Everything was great at our visit to Main Event, Austin, TX! Our team building event Funcilitator Cameron was amazing. Friendly, funny, and attentive. We bowled, did a scavenger hunt, and enjoyed the arcade. We also had a fajita bar setup and dessert. Everything was yummy and fresh! I definitely recommend this location and Cameron!

Had a great time tonight. Jay provided excellent service. As always a great time! Great place for a party.

I took my son and his friends here for his 12th birthday. It was early evening on a Saturday and not too busy. I purchased the "all play pass" for 5 boys and they spent about 3 hours doing everything. Right now the rock walls were not open but there was plenty to do. We had great food service and the staff was very friendly, present, and helpful. The kids loved the pretzels and they had gluten friendly options on the menu. Some of the games were missing the correct number of balls and a couple were broken. However, If a game took my credits I found plenty of staff to help. All in all, it was a successful birthday experience for my kiddo.

How much is it to be able to access the arcade and all the other attractions?

Hi Stacey! Each game is different when it comes to pricing so we're not able to provide you a total, but you have control as to how much you'd like to spend by funding your FUNcard! We also have specials that certainly helps when trying to see what…

Is it a good place to have a baby shower?

I don't think so. Unless it's going to be all kids at your baby shower. They don't really let pregnant woman play laser tag without having to go through a hassle. I would just choose a different place for that in my own opinion.

When we walked in, we were greeted by beautiful decor, though it seemed quite busy, so there weren't many staff members at the front to welcome us. The restaurant had a couple of other guests, but it did take a little while for someone to come over and help us find a seat. Stuart enjoyed his chicken fajitas--they loved them! I chose the fresh burrito to avoid simple carbs. The food was a bit mild in flavor, so I asked for salsa. They have a delicious homemade habanero salsa that's bursting with flavor, and I especially appreciated that it wasn't smoky. That salsa alone earns five stars from me! Aside from that, it was a little challenging to get someone's attention for the check and water, but overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Perfect Birthday Celebration at Roaring Fork!…read more On Sunday I celebrated my birthday at Roaring Fork with my family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the view overlooking the quarry made the evening even more special. One of our favorite perks was that Happy Hour is available all day on Sundays. We started with a traditional margarita, a mango margarita, and a few mocktails, all of which were excellent. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp cocktail, fresh guacamole, and chicken flatbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the cedar-planked salmon with miso soy glaze, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and practically melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed the same dish and loved it as well. My youngest daughter ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes, her boyfriend chose the ribeye steak with French fries (they definitely have expensive taste!), and my other daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The red wine paired perfectly with our meal, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. Between the exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and attentive service, it was the perfect birthday celebration. I highly recommend Roaring Fork for a special occasion or a relaxing Sunday meal with family and friends.

More and more, going out to eat in the U.S. has been a disappointing, underwhelming experience. I…read moreunderstand that time is money and that waiters and waitresses are working for their tips, but it truly sucks that it has become so difficult to actually enjoy your time in a restaurant, to just sit and relax without feeling this underlying rush. It's something that seems perfectly possible in pretty much every other country but the U.S. The moment you sit down, the waiter asks what they can get for you. They handed you the menu three seconds ago. There was absolutely no time to glance through it, evaluate your options, or discuss them with whoever you're sharing the table with. This happened at Roaring Fork, but it also happens 95% of the time I go out to dinner. Then the food comes, you eat, say no to dessert, and voilà: the check is waiting for you! Again, you can't just sit back and relax, take your time deciding whether you want dessert, maybe order a coffee or another drink. They want you out of there ASAP, and somehow you're still expected to tip 20%, which is ludicrous, but this is another conversation. Now, specifically regarding Roaring Fork, I do wonder what actually constitutes a "fancy" place. What is it? The view of the lake isn't exactly impressive. The inside is cute. Does having a cute interior make a place fancy, is that it? Or is it the high-priced menu? There's no bread offered at the table, nothing particularly special. I am genuinely lost when it comes to what makes a place "nice" these days.

The house-made blueberry preserves? Unreal. The local honey and butter? I could have eaten them with a spoon. My mouth is literally watering just thinking about it. Then came the cinnamon roll--crispy, golden edges with that gooey center that makes you involuntarily close your eyes and do a little happy food dance. We also shared The Old Fashioned biscuit sandwich, featuring house-made sausage that was so good it made us question all other sausage. Naturally, we had to "research" the bacon too--perfectly cooked, smoky, and absolutely worth it. We sat out on the porch with my pup, Lily, who was treated like royalty (fresh bowl of water and plenty of adoring attention). She gives the bacon two paws up! The staff? Absolute gems--Mark & Marie were warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there. It felt more like breakfast at your favorite relative's house than a restaurant visit. Restaurant was very pretty and clean…read more I ordered fried pork chop, mashed potatoes, jalapeño gravy and an extra side of macaroni & cheese. It was all beautiful to look at but was the worst food I've had in a long time. Some of the Pork Chop breading was fantastic. Salty and very seasoned but unfortunately some of it smelled and tasted like fish. The pork chop itself was absolutely awful. So many tendon-y or grisly-pieces or I'm unsure what the true technically correct term is but they were gross. I kept spitting those pieces out, trying to give it a fair chance but apart from the texture some pieces did not smell good like old pork and some of the breading smelled of fish. I just couldn't stomach it. The potatoes were OK. The gravy was great. The mac and cheese had not one single aspect that was actual mac and cheese. Not one shred of cheese, not one drop of liquid cheese. Zero cheese flavor. If there was any cheese on it at all I certainly did not "recognize" it and that is terrible. Zero flavor, salt, or seasoning at all. It was simply boiled pasta shells. I also got the dump cake no ice cream. I don't understand all the rave reviews. It was also very pretty and the texture was moist amd fluffy. But flavor wise it simply tasted like sugar with a slight hint of I'm unsure what.. I give almost everything a 2nd chance. So I'm willing to try it again. This was so incredibly bad I just can't believe that this is the norm.
