Went bowling on Saturday night. We arrived at about 7pm. The place was packed but we got shoes and a lame immediately! We got our shoes on and each found a bowling ball we liked. They had huge selection on the wall behind the lanes. The computer was easy to add names too and then we were off bowling. The lanes were nice and we had a blast. We each rolled some strikes and some NOT strikes! But fun was had. The grill inside has great food and the bar has full menu of drinks and beers. We had some beers and fries as snack. We went to Highland lanes to go bowling on a Saturday evening. It was my first time at Highland lanes, and we had a great time! There are 39 lanes available and it has that old school bowling alley look and feel. It is a first come, first serve system, but we were able to get a lane with no wait. The check in process was fast and easy. They give you your shoes, and you pay for the lane and the shoe rental once you are finished. We bowled for an hour and had an amazing time. None of us are good bowlers, but it was really fun. A different and great way to spend a Saturday night. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was clean, and we will be back. read more

I hadn't been bowling in a while and Highland Lanes was the closest in the area; a true bowling alley, not one of those places where it's mostly a bar with a couple of lanes. I get why those kind of places are popular, they're usually brighter and shinier but I like my bowling without the club vibes so here we are. I was worried that it would be more run-down but it was a trade off. I was surprised to see that while the decor is a little...dated but clean and well maintained; and come on, are you at a bowling alley for ambiance? The Sunday special was a no-brainer, free shoe rentals plus unlimited bowling for like 14 bucks a person. There were four of us and so it was a pretty easy choice. I went once and I plan on never going back again. It was a 30 minute wait to just get a lane and on top of that they have their league nights that take up the entire alley so after only about 45 minutes, I would have to give up my lane. I find out to be ridiculous that they can't accommodate for non-league bowlers. I'll continue to go to Westgate lanes instead. read more

Came on a weekday afternoon and lots of empty lanes. It's pay by the hour and was was pretty decently priced. Lanes seemed pretty clean and well maintained. Staff was nice and friendly. I'm just a casual bowler so I used the house balls and my only complaint was that finding a ball was difficult. read more

Chock full of nostalgic vibes! It's an old bowling alley with a few claw machines and a little restaurant inside that doesn't open at quite the same time. I was here for a work event on a random weekday. It wasn't too crowded or packed and I haven't been during any peak times so I can't say anything about this place when it's full. But for the time we had our lanes rented, it was great! All the staff members are really friendly, and the lanes are clean and the bowling is fun. I'm a big fan of the silly animations. My coworkers all seemed to be having a good time as well, and no one had any complaints afterward. We might even come back soon. I didn't order any food, and I didn't catch anyone who did. We got to re-visit this spot recently which is great for a "classic" bowling alley experience. We came here on a Saturday afternoon and got a lane for an hour and rental shoes which came out to about $44 (you pay after). They were definitely busy, but there were still plenty of lanes available. The classic experience comes with the old school keypad for entering info, swing-out chairs, delightful screen animations to congratulate your bowls, and the balls getting stuck a couple times, for which the staff were very quick to resolve. They have tons of balls to choose from and even have different finger holes to accommodate different sizes. Given the hour time limit, we were able to fit 3 games in between the two of us, with the last run being a bit of a mad dash but we made it. We didn't partake this time, but they do have their Lebowski's grill on-site which is a decent option to grab some grub. They have a huge parking lot, so zero issue there! read more

I felt like I was back in the 90s at this bowling alley and enjoyed it so much. This is such a family friendly environment with good food and great music. I haven't had this much fun bowling in a while. All the employees were kind and helpful. It was hard for me to locate a ball to play with but I will admit I have smaller hands than most adults lol. This is the closest bowling alley to my house and it's a super fun time. They have some of the best burgers in town (no seriously don't let the location fool ya) and a bar for drinks. It's a tried and true bowling alley so think of the days when you'd go bowling as a kid. You have the opportunity to rent bowling shoes and borrow a bowling bowl, but be warned if you go on a league night or specials for cheap bowling as it might be a bit more packed. We had an issue with our bowling lane and the staff here was super quick to help us out. TBH the mural on the far right is a nice touch. If you have a disability, this place will not accommodate you, even when they easily could, and it's legally required. I'm recovering from knee surgery and have a state issued disability placard. I asked for a lighter bowling ball (6-7 lbs) because the standard weight is too much for me to safely pivot on my leg. They had lighter balls available, but refused to let me use one because "those are for kids." I explained my condition, and they still wouldn't budge. So instead of participating with everyone else, I was forced to just sit and watch. They had the means to help, and they chose not to, which isn't just wrong, it's discriminatory. Under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), reasonable accommodations must be provided to individuals with disabilities. This was a clear failure to do that. If you have any sort of physical limitation or disability, know that this business may dismiss your needs entirely. It's unacceptable, illegal and honestly, it ruined what should've been a fun and inclusive experience. read more

Hated that there was no one working that would monitor the kids next to us passing one drink around when they all weren't even old enough to drink. Not to mention they felt entitled to sit at our table at our lane because they couldn't afford enough lanes for their party. Once we asked them to move, they started to say it was because of their race when in reality we just wanted what we paid for. We bowled here late on a Saturday night and had a great time. There was a lane available right away and the cost wasn't crazy high. It was really quite full and poppin with teens and some slightly rowdy people having a drink on the weekend. Only downside was the music was so loud we could hardly hear each other, which wasn't amazing. I'd like to return on a Sunday because they have some great deals and I bet it's less loud lol. read more

Perfectly great bowling alley that has the nostalgic smell of bowling shoes, bowling feet, and fried food. No fancy neon lights or seating and that's ok! You can expect to wait 30-60 min on a weekend evening otherwise it's easy to walk in for a lane. Shoe rental is $3.50 per person for the entire time. They have tons of deals for weekdays and sundays so check their website to plan your visit. Lebowski's Grill (the fried food smell mentioned above) is a destination in itself and not your average bowling alley fare. I recommend the Frito Pie burger and get their chili cheese topping for anything possible. read more

I usually come here for the burgers, which are amazing. A few days ago though I took my entire family for food and actual bowling this time. The food was mostly fine. Loved their fried pickles. Some of the double patty burgers were a bit salty but over all good. We asked for two lanes, one with a gutter for the 5 year old in our party. When it was his turn the gutters only half came up, the other half were broken. We asked if we could switch him to the other lane we asked for and they said no.. there was an empty lane next to us and they said they couldn't move us there either. Overall it was a fun experience because I was with family and we made the best of it but I wish the customer service had been a bit more accommodating. Don't assign out broken lanes. read more

We went here years ago on a whim and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, especially the old fashioned burgers at Lebowski's. Although we didn't do any bowling, we did enjoy the cheeseburgers as well as a beer and a cocktail that apparently confused the guy behind the counter. Overall it was a good experience. read more

Been here in the past but decided to go by this past Sunday evening at 9p. They were busy but for good reason... they offer a Sunday evening special for all-can-bowl from 8:30p to closing (12a) with shoe rental for $11 per person! We waited about 30 mins and got a lane. That was a decent amount of time especially since there were 7 parties ahead of us. Unfortunately that night their credit card machine went down but luckily I came in clutch.. I had just enough cash. They play great music and have a grill & bar on-site. We stayed for about an 1hr 45mins and got in 5 games. The only sad part was that we got there late so the grill was closing early (it was Sunday after all) and was only offering items from the snack menu. They have some really good, resonably priced sandwiches and burgers. We still ended up enjoying the french fries with queso though. read more
