The inside is still run on paper - paper tickets for prizes, paper slips for entry into the arena, and even paper printouts for you final score and statistics. We bought an unlimited pass, intending to play more than two times to get our money's worth. Every game starts with an instructional video that lasts a few minutes. If there are enough people, everyone is split into teams. With fewer people, it is a free for all. The arena itself is massive. They claim they are the largest laser tag arena in Texas. The web description states it is a multi-tiered complex spanning three stories, with bridges and towers. When playing, it felt like there were many places to hide or camp out for a while. It was also physically tiring to move around the whole environment - something I didn't really feel in smaller venues. For scoring, try to tag the gems as much as possible. You'll also want to be aggressive since kills have a much bigger benefit to your score compared to the minor point losses if you die. We played a total of three games and we had more fun when lots of people were playing. One game had a lot of kids from a birthday party. The last one had a variety of people including students and college students. Everyone was pretty friendly and folks were high fiving strangers. Is this experience for everyone? Probably not. But if you want to walk/crouch around for an hour or so while shooting a bunch of people with lasers, it's going to be hard to find a spot more fun than Blazer Tag.

Inexperienced party host staff. - Room wasn't set up / ready until bowling was nearly done. - Upon arriving at the venue we learned that they didn't have goody bags available that day. This was disappointing because I would've expected a heads up at least one day in advance so that we can make other arrangements. They did provide an extra $10 on each child's game card to make up for it, which was nice.
