MLP AUSTIN! Great tournament. Overall good experience. This place is huge and has a really good layout. All the staff was great and look forward to more tournaments there. I can't wait to play there next time I'm in town.

I've been to a few pickleball courts and this court blows them all away. Everything you can ask for is pretty much here. Well spaced courts, Some of the walls are even padded! Great music Awesome vibe from staff and players Lots of parking! Well designed reservation system Comfortable ventilation Clean facility Beautiful colors and design Lots of comfortable chairs to rest while watching If I had to find something that can be improved it's probably the bathroom in the middle. It needs some love because it feels old and dirty. For men, go to the bathroom near the front desk close to the entrance. Much cleaner, modern and nicer to use. I drive through stressful traffic to get here every time but my stress goes away when I start playing here. Can you please open one up in Pflugerville? haha

Pickle Ranch is a great place for some indoor pickleball. I have only done court reservations, but they have open play as well! It's pricey, but considering this is the only indoor pickleball court in Austin, or at least the only one that I have heard of, they can essentially charge whatever they want. It's so popular, and reservations are hard to get during peak hours. I like how they have a lot of chairs and tables next to the courts.

The image shows an indoor pickleball facility with multiple courts, some of which are in use by players. There is a seating area with round tables and wooden chairs in the foreground. A wooden wall with a neon sign reading 'Austin Pickle Ranch' is visible, along with a staircase leading to an upper level. The space has a high ceiling with exposed beams and bright lighting.

We visited Austin Pickle Ranch from Houston and so happy we did! We were able to book a morning Saturday session - 2 hours for $15 - I did have to book it days in advanced before they fill up quickly. They separate open play to three divisions - beginner, intermediate and advanced. The intermediate is a big range (3.0-4.0) but luckily it wasn't so bad. Out of about 15 players, 2 struggled a bit with play but all the players were pretty patient and friendly. The lighting is bright so when hitting lobs, you feel like you're playing with the sun. Ceiling is a little low so you'll need to learn how to control your lobs. One court had a fan blowing so it may impact the ball a bit. I do like that they have artificial turf between the courts which prevented the ball from rolling far. The sound barriers are great because it wasn't that noisy as opposed to other indoor clubs we've played at. We def will be back whenever visiting!

The sign presents membership options for pickleball players at Austin Pickle Ranch, including Trailboss and Wrangler plans, with prices, features, and benefits. It includes QR code for sign-up, and details on court access, open play, clinics, discounts, and booking policies. The sign is designed with a blue sky background and decorative elements, and is mounted on a wooden surface.

New Pickleball spot in the north end... And it's indoors. Gotta love it. This place is awesome. The vibe inside feels very hipster and the courts are near perfect. Not sure if they have AC, but there are plenty of fans and definitely much cooler than playing in this Texas heat. 16 indoor courts with players at various levels throughout the day. For open play it's about $13 for 2 hours. Their website is fairly easy to navigate and book a court.

A portable signboard featuring a cartoon illustration of a wooden signpost with an arrow labeled 'CHECK IN' is positioned on a sidewalk outside Austin Pickle Ranch. The sign includes the business logo at the top and is situated near trees, a building with a metal roof, and a shaded walkway supported by concrete columns.

Great spot for pickleball. Friendly staff and well ventilated. I would visit again, lots of parking too.

I'm giving Austin Pickle Ranch five stars for its facility, staff, open play, clinics, and social atmosphere. The pros are all great, although our favorite is Austin Bricker (watch for him on the PPA tour). We've met many new friends and highly recommend anyone new to the game start here, as they offer all the basics to set you up for success. We look forward to a south location expansion and possibly reopening the downtown rooftop (hint hint).

The image shows an indoor pickleball facility with several courts separated by black barriers. Players and spectators are present, some standing and others seated on stools along the side. The ceiling is high with exposed metal beams and bright fluorescent lighting. The courts have a green and purple surface, and there are monitors and equipment visible around the area. The environment appears active and well-lit for sports activities.

Bad vibes during open play here as a woman. Very sexist. I will not be coming back here.

Our event was located on the rooftop where there's 4 courts and downstairs has 6 indoor courts, with incredible lighting it honestly mimics a nice outdoor setting. ESPC is spacious and filled with plenty of people coming & going all day! ESPC offers memberships and open play hours for beginners like myself. You can tell most people that come here are very skilled though so it can be intimidating! ESPC also gives the option for booking a personal coaching should you desire that. The front parking lot is shared with various over businesses and parking is tight. Thankfully there's a back lot with ample free parking space :)

Eastside Paddle is a fantastic indoor court located right off Airport Boulevard in East Austin…read more It's pretty similar in structure to most other courts where you can both walk in or reserve. We're not too sure how busy it gets here but would still recommend reserving anyways. The parking lot out front is pretty tiny but we got lucky with a spot, just expect to circle once or twice if needed. The inside is very nice and so was the front desk person. Reserving was a tad tricky online but check-in was a breeze. They do offer both indoor and outdoor courts so keep that in mind when you book for options sake. The courts themselves are great. Very clean and well maintained with a side area for bags or anything you don't want on your person. The whole vibe of this place is very Austin, in a good way. They have an upstairs area where it looks like you can hang out as well as ping pong tables out front. This feels like a very community driven place if we've ever seen one. Eastside Paddle Club is a great place to reserve a court and play some pickleball and if not for living up near The Domain this would probably be our go to spot. If you're in the East Austin area and unsure about where to start your pickleball journey then look no further. This is the place to go!

Or if ur up for it - you can play "who can spot the most things out of plumb?" You don't just grab a drink, you embark on a quest. How will you injure yourself first at this bar / construction site. Let's talk about the playground--because yes, there's a playground. Nothing says "relaxing night out" like cracked slide equipment that looks like it's one enthusiastic kid (or adult, no judgment) away from becoming a physics lesson. Add in a generous sprinkling of rusty nails and broken glass on the play truck and you've got yourself a full nostalgia-meets-tetanus situation. And then there's the legendary pergola: beams casually chilling in what appear to be old buckets, held together by vibes, hope, and whatever higher power oversees questionable DIY projects. It's less "shade structure" and more "structural suggestion." Bonus points: there are plenty of places to smoke--like, plenty. If you've ever thought, "I wish I could light up while contemplating my life choices next to a semi-stable wooden structure," this is your moment. Honestly, it's kind of impressive. Charmingly unpolished. But impressive in the way a shopping cart going downhill unattended is impressive--you can't look away. Come for the drinks, stay because you're carefully plotting your exit route.
