    The stuff are friendly and welcoming. The group classes are amazing. The women's workout area is a decent size.

    Response from Elevate on 3/23. The last time I have heard from them and today is 5/19 while billing says we will go to to debt collections.

    They use an outsourced coaching service, they come in to manage the gym's local trainers and come up with a sales pitch that they train their team on to sell personal training packages. This outsourced company is called "Elevate Fitness Coaching." To purchase personal training, you transact with this company, and all your "Support" (irony) is handled through the email they provide on your agreement. This keeps the gym free and clear of disputes or any responsibility to you when it comes to personal training. Unfortunately for us, we learned this the hard way and I hope to save you from the same painful 2.5 months we've had. The sales person they had the night of our PT consultation was a 20-year-old named Hunter Buckman. I trusted what he was saying was in my best interest. My partner and I met with him for 2 hours, each of us providing our deep intentions and motivations for the program. I only signed up for Fitness Connection in order to have personal training. The sales trainer lied so unbelievably- he is a very charismatic kid, and they didn't schedule my first session until 6 days later, so it took me 6 days to learn the truth. The big lies: - He said the training sessions are 1 hour. - He said there was no cancellation fee. - He said you can pause your membership at any time for as many times as you want. The little lies: - As a part of your personal training benefit, your trainer will come up with a nutrition plan that meets your fitness goals - as discussed with Hunter Buckman. - You will leverage a portal to work with your trainer and reference your plan and goals there. - They did not tell us there would be a registration fee charged on top of our training sessions either. I saw this charge on our cc statement later. After my first training session, I learned the sessions are 30 mins, my trainer had no idea about any portal or nutrition planning, and that freezing is a one-time option, for a fee, that extends your term length. I also learned it would cost me over $1,000 and my partner hundreds to cancel my subscription after 3 days. I messaged Elevate's Support email as per the agreement stating "cancellation requests must be submitted to this email..." They responded initially to say they will get back to me. Once I followed up to say I am concerned you are letting too much time lapse and my account will try to renew - she responded, and I have this in writing from Elevate, to say they will "honor the original date my cancellation request was submitted." Since then, I have not heard from their support desk and it has been over two full months since I submitted my cancellation request. Their billing dept continues to contact us. The billing folks told me they have no way of reaching Elevate and I have to keep emailing Support. They told me that both of our accounts will be sent to Collections unless we make more payments or the people ignoring me will have to acknowledge my cancellation request and change the status. Otherwise, they eventually send us to collections. I have tried emailing the various emails that come in asking for updated payment - ClubReady, Elevate, Tech Ridge, etc. - explaining this again and again. No one has reached out. I have been emailing them for over two months. When I saw Hunter at the gym, he had already heard something was wrong and we talked. I find it upsetting that my Support contact got to his ears, but no one has the business conduct or professional courtesy to reach out. He listened to me, acknowledged that he lied about session length and cancellation policy, apologized to me for being deceptive, (it seemed sincere); and said he would personally see to it his boss wraps up our cancellation request. He even whips out his phone and [pretends to?] text this alleged person. Since that convo, he avoided me a few subsequent times and then left to train his sales method at other gym locations. Look at their reviews on Yelp, many people experience billing issues after canceling. They've recommended more honest gyms. I am tremendously disheartened by my experience.

    Have to add another review for this place. It just gets worse. was once a great gym. Now it's just disgusting and all the machines are broken. For months over 15 machines have been broken and in the mens bathroom all the urinals are broke. Even all of the water fountains are broken. What's bad is we pay maintenance fees which add up to hundreds of dollars a year that aren't being used to fix any of the broken equipment and a bathroom you cannot even use.

    Broken for almost a month now

    DO NOT SIGN UP, not worth it. I use to love this gym even when it would get crazy packed it was fine.. but NOW the machines a broken are most of them have been broken for over a month and the smith machine has been broken for almost 2 months going to 3. This use to be a 5 star. And you can barely even do cable flys because most of them have been broke for over a month. EXTREMLY DISSAPOINTED IN THIS GYM. Me and my group of friends are thinking of canceling. SICK AMD TIRED OF HAVING TO WAIT A LING TIME JUST CAUSE WAY TOO MANY MACHINES ARE BROKEN.

So you will always hone an area or machine freed up for you. My only complaints is that they blast booty rap really loud through the speakers. Like the loudest gym ever where you can barely hear the people at the front desk when speaking to them. Other times they will play butt rock which is just a tad more tolerable. Some may not survive without head phones. The men's bathroom is not the cleanest. Always smells. If you are a sauna user. It is also just mid. My other bigger complaint is that the heavy bags upstairs are unusable. They hung em on chains so high that they are pretty much unusable and they run into the ceiling frame. Kind of a safety issue on that part..... Other than that, better than most other gyms in this area of the price point

Signed up, no tour, no info on the gym, no idea what he was even really doing. Day 15 I walked in to the gym, signed in. Walked past front desk, went to warm up and forgot my water bottle in my car. Went to grab it then came back in. While I was walking back in the front desk dude yelled with insane attitude "hey sign in" I replied I already did, maybe if you weren't on your phone looking down when I walked in the first time you would have known. I am all for understanding, but you raise your voice at me like that? Not my jam, but I kept it cool cause I just took some pre and figured I was just raging from the pre. But it pissed me off and ruined my lift for that day. Day 25 they don't seem to know which is a standard for their foam roles or straps. One person lent me the foam roles, another person required an item to check it out. I attended this gym for maybe 3 or 4 month and went right back to BigTex cause this gym sucked. They say 'Mecca' or whatever but this place is Mecca crap. Scummy management, save your money. Go to BigTex, MetroFlex or even Fitness Connect. Prices are similar. Loud music, and when I say loud you have noise canceling headphone on and you still hear their gyms music. Dirty! cleaning staff is there but somehow it's still nasty, dried sweat on the window for months on end. "Ohh it's busy" I drew an 8 on the door with my sweat and it stayed there for nearly a month. I'd rather be at metroflex with the weight outside in a barn basically. Restrooms never seem to be working properly, one of the showers is always running. Yet no one is in there. Haunted or busted water system? Final review it's a NEW gym but somehow feels like it's already 4 years old. Cool equipment, shitty staff, shitty management, shitty deals, shitty across the board. Yet they are EXPANDING and making ANOTHER gym? Focus on one make it awesome, then start another. Money grubbing at its finest

I am really into dance fitness, though, and if you ever go on a Tuesday evening and see Disney World-style lines wrapped around the building, you know that Jay is teaching "So You Think You Can't Dance." I don't know how to adequately express how wonderful these classes are. Come in whatever mood you're in, and you'll leave with a smile on your face. His dance class has been seriously life changing for me, and I'm so grateful to have them at Crunch!

The Legendary Strength class with Coach Blue was by far the most challenging and upbeat class. Highly recommend his class for anyone looking for a tough and fabulous workout! Unfortunately, I took most of my classes with Charmaine. I was really disappointed with my experience in classes led by this instructor. She was constantly off, beat and off tempo, which made it difficult to follow along - especially in a group setting where timing is important. The music was also blasting so loudly over her mic that it was hard to hear any of her cues or instructions. On top of that, Charmaine rarely demonstrated the exercise clearly, so I often wasn't sure if I was doing the movements correctly. Overall, her classes felt confusing and frustrating, I didn't feel like I was getting a safe or productive workout. In my opinion, other instructors in the gym were much better, but my experience with Charmaine as an instructor was constantly disappointing.

I just wanted to say he's really great at his job and it deserves to be recognized. Aside from him, I have also never had a bad interaction with the front staff at this location. I spent a half hour looking up and filling out all the personal bank info REQUIRED....BOTH a credit card AND A CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER (so you can't file a protest if you are not satisfied). ONLY THEN do they show you the ripoff amount you will also pay...AN EXTRA $53.04 for "annual membership fee" due January 1. If you want to cancel, a $50 "cancellation fee" will be taken DIRECTLY out of your checking account. Also, instead of the advertised $1 "startup fee", they were gonna charge an extra $1.86 to "pro-rate" the month (see attached pics). TOTAL SCAM "PROMOTION"!!!! (and I kept a recording of the TV AD for proof)
