    Whimsical sculptures throughout the course

This is such a quirky yet magical place. I like bringing friends and family here. It's BYOB so you can bring your favorite beverage. When I was there on Sunday, I paid $10 to play 18 holes. I felt this was a very reasonable price. There are two courses: easy and hard. I enjoy all the whimsical art sculptures around the course. There's a taco, bug, dinosaur, pirate, alligator and of course, a giant Peter Pan. The course is a little run down but somehow the imperfections makes it all the more charming. Parking is pretty rough in their small lot. However, their website makes some suggestions on where you can park after 6pm. Take a peek at that before you head there. Overall, this place is an Austin staple. I recommend heading to Sandy's down the street for ice cream once you finish playing.

Not going to lie... it was hot. After the 13th hole - the one with the disco ball topped by a Pegasus - we were sweltering and ready to call it quits. And then we sat on the comfortable park benches in the shade of the old trees and ate our snow cones... content to count the Waymos go by and discuss a million things. This was so refreshing, relaxing, delightful and fun. We were congratulating ourselves. Something like 45 minutes elapsed and then, reenergized, we played the last three holes. And that's what I love about this place. You'll get pressure from exactly no one. No one cares if you stop and start. It's one of the most chill experiences I know of in Austin.

This is always a fun place for a date night or a meetup with friends. Parking can be tricky, but that has always been the case. If you're interested, it's a BYOB venue. I've celebrated many of my birthdays here during my youth, and I love returning to reminisce about those memories.

This is an older course which shows its' wear and tear. It was still a lot of fun to play. They have two different courses and we chose the more popular one that had the statues and some fun challenges. I would suggest checking them out! We would have done both courses if we had the time my kids enjoyed all the statues and some of the harder holes.

No longer cash only! Still a fun place and more parking available in the lot next door too.

While the surrounding area might not feel too much like Neverland, Peter Pain Mini Golf does have a fun, magical quality to it. The course is an Austin classic for a reason. With two different 18 hole course and a BYOB policy, this putt putt outing sets itself up well for a good time. Getting your clubs and balls are easy and the prices aren't too bad. Solid start. What is too bad though is the traffic backup on the course. The party sizes allowed here are huge (we saw a party of 8). You could say we're partially to blame for coming on a Friday night, but man did it take long to get through portions of the course. The course itself is cute with little attractions and sculptures on every hole. Some of the holes were quite challenging which added a layer of fun to it and there being a whole second course adds a lot to the replay value. The whole experience was enjoyable but we would HIGHLY recommend coming at a time where there are less people. Either way you will have fun and it's a great way to begin a night out in the downtown area.

The decor was super cute. My family went after some rain so thankfully it wasn't too crowded and the kids kept putting while we waited for the people before us. Some of the holes were a bit flooded, but didn't stop the kids from trying. Overall we had a blast and definitely would come back again!

They offer two golf courses, they're decently priced. When we went yesterday there were several groups but it was still enjoyable. We played for about two hours and completed both courses, they provide the score sheet and have drinks / alcohol.

Shows its age a bit, but cute and fun nonetheless. One side has more obstacles, the other more of a challenge. Liked that it was a full 18 holes rather than 9.

What a fun place, especially when the weather was nice like this Saturday (cold and sunny)! It's a great place for all ages. I saw all walks of life; parents with an infant strapped on the mom's chest, a family with a grandmother, a group of friends drinking (love that you can BYOB), or couples (like us) with the same goal in mind which was having fun and it seemed everyone achieved that goal ‍ There are two courses - the East course which is supposed to be easy and the West course which is the harder course. Personally, I didn't think it was harder than the East course at all. Like any other mini golf course, if there's a group of more than 4 people ahead of you, the line would get held up for longer than usual (especially if they bet their lives on the game ). The only complaint I have is their parking. They have limited parking spaces on premises so you will either have to drive around and come back checking the availability or go find street parking somewhere else which is such a hassle!!!

Luckily the weather was in the 70s which was really nice for a January day. We drove up and parked easily. We then went to pay the rate for 4 adults, got our clubs, chose our golf balls, and we were off. There were a few people there with families on the course but we basically had the course to ourselves. It was a course with a practice spot and then 18 holes to play. It was very informative and fun. There were stands at each hole with a set of photos and historical information. Plus the actual course had slight slopes, and a few fun obstacles. After golfing we went inside the small museum. There were several artifacts and some historical information to look at and read about. On a side note they have two bathrooms with soap and running water which is a positive. Overall it was a fun afternoon on a nice day. The mini golf course is fun and informative. The museum is small and interesting. If you like history and mini golf this would be a good place to visit and play on a nice day.

Depending on the time that you go, there might be a wait, so grab a drink and enjoy practicing chipping, putting, cornhole, or socializing. The course has fun billboards (Caddyshack and Ron ) and comical Greenskeepers. I was impressed by how nice the greens are. Honestly, much better than some of my local 18 public courses! Restrooms are clean and easy to access. Two unisex so plan accordingly :) I cannot emphasize enough, how amazing their customer service is. This is a great spot run by great people.

The course itself was perfect for people with little to no golf experience, and even great for those who play all the time. So, the 3 stars is for the activities experience and not the allergen food experience. If I did rate the food experience, it would have been negative stars, but because I don't expect Austin's to fix it, I am not factoring that into the rating I am giving them. But, I want to write the review to let other gluten free patrons know not to expect any precautions to be taken when preparing the GF pizza. My daughter is 17 and asked for the GF pizza and asked if the cook could change their gloves. The lady said no and she also told my daughter it didn't matter anyway because they would not use foil under the pizza or a clean slicer. So the pizza may as well have been a regular one with that much cross-contamination. The other reviews I saw on yelp about the GF experience made us hopeful that Austin's actually tried. But, that's not the case at all. I have always told my daughter that celiac disease is her cross to bear and not to expect others to cater to her needs. It's always very refreshing to find restaurants that are 100% GF or that take precautions because we know how special that is, but for those that don't, we can't fault them for it because it's not anyone's duty to care for her but us. So, those are places we just don't go to. So, activities are 3 stars, they are average. And food, I did not rate. Those with celiac, eat before you go is my advice. They have huge signs outside that outside food and drink are not allowed. I don't know if they would allow anything to be taken in for those with allergies. It wasn't worth it for us to ask. My daughter went with a group and it was completely paid for, but we would never go back if we had to pay for it.

The salad bar alone is enough reason for me to go back to eat there. Everything was fresh and crisp on the salad bar. The pizzas and other food were replenish non-stop and it was always hot and fresh. They always had cups, ice, and drinks available. I am serious. I'm picky and I can't think of something to complain about here. The rides are always a hit with the kids. Mine will spend 8 or 9 hours there - happily. My husband joked that it should be a place for summer camps. 4 of our group didn't want the buffet and got burgers and taquitos from the restaurant. my husband is quite the food snob and said that the burger was awesome and gave me a bite. I agreed. The bacon was like a thick cut slab of pork belly. If I didn't enjoy the salad bar so much I would definitely get the burger, but I can have the best of both worlds and eat some of his next time. Their inside arcade has so many options and the games all work. I'm just so grateful that this place exists. Austin's management - you're doing an incredible job. We are fans!
