Whimsical sculptures throughout the course
Katie C.

This is such a quirky yet magical place. I like bringing friends and family here. It's BYOB so you can bring your favorite beverage. When I was there on Sunday, I paid $10 to play 18 holes. I felt this was a very reasonable price. There are two courses: easy and hard. I enjoy all the whimsical art sculptures around the course. There's a taco, bug, dinosaur, pirate, alligator and of course, a giant Peter Pan. The course is a little run down but somehow the imperfections makes it all the more charming. Parking is pretty rough in their small lot. However, their website makes some suggestions on where you can park after 6pm. Take a peek at that before you head there. Overall, this place is an Austin staple. I recommend heading to Sandy's down the street for ice cream once you finish playing.

This is always a fun place for a date night or a meetup with friends. Parking can be tricky, but that has always been the case. If you're interested, it's a BYOB venue. I've celebrated many of my birthdays here during my youth, and I love returning to reminisce about those memories.

Not going to lie... it was hot. After the 13th hole - the one with the disco ball topped by a Pegasus - we were sweltering and ready to call it quits. And then we sat on the comfortable park benches in the shade of the old trees and ate our snow cones... content to count the Waymos go by and discuss a million things. This was so refreshing, relaxing, delightful and fun. We were congratulating ourselves. Something like 45 minutes elapsed and then, reenergized, we played the last three holes. And that's what I love about this place. You'll get pressure from exactly no one. No one cares if you stop and start. It's one of the most chill experiences I know of in Austin.

This is an older course which shows its' wear and tear. It was still a lot of fun to play. They have two different courses and we chose the more popular one that had the statues and some fun challenges. I would suggest checking them out! We would have done both courses if we had the time my kids enjoyed all the statues and some of the harder holes.

No longer cash only! Still a fun place and more parking available in the lot next door too.

While the surrounding area might not feel too much like Neverland, Peter Pain Mini Golf does have a fun, magical quality to it. The course is an Austin classic for a reason. With two different 18 hole course and a BYOB policy, this putt putt outing sets itself up well for a good time. Getting your clubs and balls are easy and the prices aren't too bad. Solid start. What is too bad though is the traffic backup on the course. The party sizes allowed here are huge (we saw a party of 8). You could say we're partially to blame for coming on a Friday night, but man did it take long to get through portions of the course. The course itself is cute with little attractions and sculptures on every hole. Some of the holes were quite challenging which added a layer of fun to it and there being a whole second course adds a lot to the replay value. The whole experience was enjoyable but we would HIGHLY recommend coming at a time where there are less people. Either way you will have fun and it's a great way to begin a night out in the downtown area.

The decor was super cute. My family went after some rain so thankfully it wasn't too crowded and the kids kept putting while we waited for the people before us. Some of the holes were a bit flooded, but didn't stop the kids from trying. Overall we had a blast and definitely would come back again!

They offer two golf courses, they're decently priced. When we went yesterday there were several groups but it was still enjoyable. We played for about two hours and completed both courses, they provide the score sheet and have drinks / alcohol.

Shows its age a bit, but cute and fun nonetheless. One side has more obstacles, the other more of a challenge. Liked that it was a full 18 holes rather than 9.

The photo shows the front exterior of Peter Pan Mini-Golf in Austin, TX, featuring a green building with a large sign reading 'Peter Pan Mini-Golf.' There is an ATM machine and a yellow bench outside. A person is seen walking in the background near the sidewalk. The sky is partly cloudy, and the scene captures a casual outdoor setting near the mini-golf venue.

What a fun place, especially when the weather was nice like this Saturday (cold and sunny)! It's a great place for all ages. I saw all walks of life; parents with an infant strapped on the mom's chest, a family with a grandmother, a group of friends drinking (love that you can BYOB), or couples (like us) with the same goal in mind which was having fun and it seemed everyone achieved that goal ‍ There are two courses - the East course which is supposed to be easy and the West course which is the harder course. Personally, I didn't think it was harder than the East course at all. Like any other mini golf course, if there's a group of more than 4 people ahead of you, the line would get held up for longer than usual (especially if they bet their lives on the game ). The only complaint I have is their parking. They have limited parking spaces on premises so you will either have to drive around and come back checking the availability or go find street parking somewhere else which is such a hassle!!!

I also was shocked at the QR code ordering service which, although it was shoddy at times, it was really convenient. There's something about the ambience that I can't quite pin down, but I can tell you that the music is spectacular and the people who were playing mini golf were having a blast. I was here for an Austin SOL ultimate frisbee match, and I made sure to walk around the entire facility to give it a good look. Now the only thing they need to fix is the seating in the stadium area because I have had to buy really expensive gel pads to sit on. After an hour, I still could not feel my bottom!

THE BLACK AND WHITE: The wife and I came here with another couple that wanted to spend the day golfin (mini golfin). Entering the arena was weird as you had to go into the Pitch compound, buy the tickets at the stall and then walk into the mini golf area. There are two rounds of 18 holes (black and blue). We opted for the entire day pass which is around $30 free play. It was an all day venture going through the holes and the place is crowded! A cool thing here is that you can order drinks while playing as waiters are strolling past grabbing orders. THE FINAL BAMBOO: For two day passes, the price was around $65. Pretty good value for unlimited play. I definitely would come back and play some more golf for sure.

Even more brilliant is making all the arcade machines free play, so when you pay the $12.99 to get in, you have the opportunity to play any game your heart desires. I drank two beers while at Cidercade, their Texas Blonde and their Pistolas Mexican Lager. Both were good and easy to drink. All the arcade games have nearby areas to place your drinks so you can lock in on the games as needed. The collection of games is great and varied, from pinball machines and Japanese rhythm games to classic arcade games like Q*bert, Donkey Kong, Tetris, and more. There are racing games, Guitar Hero Arcade, rail shooters, Pop-A-Shot, skee ball, and plenty of other options. I enjoy that most of the people moving around Cidercade feel pretty sophisticated and do not get too rowdy like at other bars. Everyone is there to have a good time and chill. All the games are clean, which is crazy knowing how much beer and how many drinks are being consumed around them. A little booze in your system and playing pinball is an amazing experience, and I cannot wait to go back. RIYL: The Y2K center but you were alive in the 2000s.

Based on what others told me that day, they had a large high school group come in & back up everyone else. The wait was several hours long. Next time they should have just closed the business for the whole day, half day, or just until the large group finished the course. This way others are not inconvenienced.
