You can choose from two courses: one easier, and one harder- or do both at a discount. I didn't have time for both but I'd definitely do that next time. I chose the harder course. It wasn't super difficult, but for being a simple mini golf course, I loved how it used oddly shaped hills, angles, and structures to test your ability to figure out how to get that ball into the hole! This is such a quirky yet magical place. I like bringing friends and family here. It's BYOB so you can bring your favorite beverage. When I was there on Sunday, I paid $10 to play 18 holes. I felt this was a very reasonable price. There are two courses: easy and hard. I enjoy all the whimsical art sculptures around the course. There's a taco, bug, dinosaur, pirate, alligator and of course, a giant Peter Pan. The course is a little run down but somehow the imperfections makes it all the more charming. Parking is pretty rough in their small lot. However, their website makes some suggestions on where you can park after 6pm. Take a peek at that before you head there. Overall, this place is an Austin staple. I recommend heading to Sandy's down the street for ice cream once you finish playing. read more

After gorging on some bbq, Jim G and I headed to Peter Pan mini golf (courtesy of our first Waymo driverless ride) to walk off our lunch and have some old-fashioned fun! For two people, it was close to $20 and you choose one of two courses (or you can do both for a deal) and off you go! Not going to lie... it was hot. After the 13th hole - the one with the disco ball topped by a Pegasus - we were sweltering and ready to call it quits. And then we sat on the comfortable park benches in the shade of the old trees and ate our snow cones... content to count the Waymos go by and discuss a million things. This was so refreshing, relaxing, delightful and fun. We were congratulating ourselves. Something like 45 minutes elapsed and then, reenergized, we played the last three holes. They have two different courses and we chose the more popular one that had the statues and some fun challenges. I would suggest checking them out! While the surrounding area might not feel too much like Neverland, Peter Pain Mini Golf does have a fun, magical quality to it. The course is an Austin classic for a reason. With two different 18 hole course and a BYOB policy, this putt putt outing sets itself up well for a good time. Getting your clubs and balls are easy and the prices aren't too bad. Solid start. What is too bad though is the traffic backup on the course. The party sizes allowed here are huge (we saw a party of 8). You could say we're partially to blame for coming on a Friday night, but man did it take long to get through portions of the course. The course itself is cute with little attractions and sculptures on every hole. Some of the holes were quite challenging which added a layer of fun to it and there being a whole second course adds a lot to the replay value. The whole experience was enjoyable but we would HIGHLY recommend coming at a time where there are less people. What a fun place, especially when the weather was nice like this Saturday (cold and sunny)! It's a great place for all ages. I saw all walks of life; parents with an infant strapped on the mom's chest, a family with a grandmother, a group of friends drinking (love that you can BYOB), or couples (like us) with the same goal in mind which was having fun and it seemed everyone achieved that goal ‍ There are two courses - the East course which is supposed to be easy and the West course which is the harder course. Personally, I didn't think it was harder than the East course at all. Like any other mini golf course, if there's a group of more than 4 people ahead of you, the line would get held up for longer than usual (especially if they bet their lives on the game ). The only complaint I have is their parking. They have limited parking spaces on premises so you will either have to drive around and come back checking the availability or go find street parking somewhere else which is such a hassle!!! read more

My husband and I played this course on a Monday at 10am. So we experienced no wait between holes. The staff was very friendly and prompt with checking us in. The course itself was decent as far as wear due to it being located outdoors. It didn't affect game play much. The holes were easy enough for anyone to play but with some challenges. Most holes were par 2s. The artwork was fascinating and really went with the theme. Play was unlimited with two 18 hole courses. I'm not sure if prices change based on times or days but when we went it was $10 per person. The highlight was the price 10/10 and due to the slight wear on the course 7.5/10. This isn't one of those Monster golf courses that's indoors with animatronics and A/C. It's small business that's all outdoors except the restrooms. Go early as it can get crowded. Please note: the parking is wild, ie TINY. We ended up parking over half a mile away. Like others say it's BYOB which is pretty rad. It's a cute mini golf spot. There's two courses you can play; one is easier. Both are fun. Just pick the less crowded set and that'll make your time easier. Plus it's only $10 a person. We were looking for something to do near our Airbnb before dinner, so we decided to mini golf, which I don't think we have done in about 15 years! This was a really cute place, and cheap! $14 for both of us. They have two courses, we went with the easy one. Also, you can bring your dogs and alcohol! We brought some beers with us and set out on a mini golf adventure. For it being over 75 years old, it is very well kept. Each hole is very short, so it definitely bottlenecks when it's busy. This probably would have only been a 30 minute game, but took closer to an hour since we were always waiting for people in front of us (and the people in front of them) to finish. No complaints though! It was just fun to hang out together, everybody here was having a great time. The weather was really nice that evening, so it felt good to be outside. This Austin classic was an item to check off my bucket list, and I don't feel the need to ever go back. The art style is delightful, with bright colours and characters that look creepy but endearing at the same time. I read the reviews in advance, so I knew that the parking lot would be very small. We went Saturday morning at 10am, and there were plenty of open spaces, but the lot was full when we left. We paid $9 cash each for 18 holes. Card was $9.74. Getting there early was nice because we had the whole west course to ourselves. It only took two of us about 30 minutes, so we did the east course as well. The west course is supposed to be the harder one, but we found the east course to be quite a bit harder. After seeing this place on the map while planning our trip to Austin, we knew we had to make a stop here! We had a fantastic time playing mini-golf at Peter Pan Mini-Golf in Austin, Texas. Fun little place, lol walkable from downtown. Lots of kids/families there, but one easy and one more difficult course so little guys generally went toward the easy course. The difficult course was pretty tough but fun to try. They had sodas, water and snow cones. Lots of restaurants in the area, including Black's BBQ. We stopped by while doing a family day trip in Austin and wanted to play a game of mini golf. It was around 5:30ish. It was hot but the course was shaded and busy on a Friday afternoon. We were able to find parking. If you are patient you can find people leaving. The course is 36 holes. You can either play the full 36 or 18. The prices are as follows: 18 holes per adult or child six and over: $9 18 holes per child five and younger: $7 36 holes per adult and child six and over: $14 36 holes per child five and younger: $12 additional 18 holes while on site: $5 I would recommend the full 36. We made it through the 18 pretty fast but we had to be patient and wait for the parties ahead of us. Keyword here is being patient!!! You may have a small group or a large group ahead of you. The goal is to have fun! It is BYOB and you can bring a cooler. I don't think you can bring in glass. There are a couple of dinner spots not too far down the street that you can check out when you are done. read more

It's putt-putt. Nothing really out of the ordinary. Parking is a pain. And if you are fortunate s to find a spot you get to play on a well used course. They have 36 holes. One side is apparently harder than the other. I'm not sure which is which. I think I actually did much better on the harder side. Despite the small parking lot, you can find yourself stuff in a traffic jam of players working through the course especially behind large groups or folks with kids. We actually skipped the last 6 holes because it was a long wait to play. Staff is cool. read more

Founded in 1948, this is a true Austin original. So it was high time we paid it a visit. Go early in the morning because parking is limited, and the ?links? fill up quickly with people. Of course, they have an easier and a harder course, and the easier one fills up first with families with children. That's not us, btw, we just wanted to do something fun. And that it is. Low pressure activity, and the surroundings are just so great. There is quite a bit of shade, and the artwork is absolutely fantastic. The state capitol, a ?disney castle?, nursery rhymes.... It's like a more colorful and less pretentious Umlauf sculpture garden. I've been to Peter Pan mini golf many times over the years for various friend/youth group events. It's a pretty decent mini golf course as far as I know, I've only been to a handful others in my life, but this one is pretty good. Never really had the food, I know they do have some snack-like stuff but nothing that's ever interested me (eg snow cones and hot dogs etc). Be warned, there is really very little shade here so if you go during the day, especially in the summer in Austin, it is hotter than hell. Could be fun, but just make sure to wear hats, sunscreen, etc. I know you can do either the half course or pay extra to do the full course. Ive never had any technical issues here really, the staff are helpful enough. This place has been around forever so at this point (since I can remember, and I was born in Austin in 1995).
