Overall: 4.3/5 Our friend was celebrating her birthday here and booked duckpin bowling for a group. We had never played duckpin bowling before so it was fun to learn a new sport. It moved a lot faster than regular bowling which kept things exciting. This place is massive! They have so many other games and activities as well but we didn't get a chance to explore so we'll have to come back next time. They had food vendors on site so we ordered cheese and pepperoni pizza from Lefty's Pizza Kitchen for dinner. The cheese was surprisingly better than the pepperoni. They also cut it into really small pieces which made it fun to grab a slice, bowl a frame, and go back for more. The cocktails were really good and affordable too. Carrie Fisher ($12): Rum, coconut, pineapple, lime juice, and rock candy. Loved the fun rock candy topper though it was very hard to eat. The drink was on the lighter side and easy to drink. Atomic Blonde ($12): Tequila, mezcal, honey mango, and pineapple with a chamoy and tajin candy stick. The candy stick was freaking delicious, and the drink was pretty tasty too. Such a great pairing that we ordered a second one. The Game Over ($18): A 25 oz drink in a reusable plastic mason jar with 8 liquors, sprite, lemonade, and Hawaiian punch. Not bad but mixing that many spirits tends to give me a headache so it wasn't really my thing. The other two cocktails tasted better to me as well.

Such a great place for events or friends gatherings. Besides grabbing some drinks and snacks, you can also play some games and different kinds of games. Very casual and fun place. It also has both indoor and outdoor seating. I came here multiple times with friends and also company events. The servers were nice and attentive, asking you to make sure you have drinks. Ambiance is great for hanging out.

We had a great time coming here to watch the NBA finals and FIFA soccer. Food was very good. The ambiance is ideal to enjoy the fun, food and play a few games. The waiters really do keep the place running smoothly.

Such a vibe here and so much to do! From bowling to giant pong and other fun activities. These places during the day is fun for families and then turns to only adults at night. Drinks are refresh and the staff are always friendly. This is my usual Sunday funday spot

    So many activities!

Food? They got it! Lefty's pizza and Jew Boy burgers. Drinks? They got it! Draught beers from all over Austin and table draft cocktails to share with all. Games? ALL. THE. GAMES. Duck pin bowling ($9/pp for one game -- so pricey) and. Otherwise everything else is free or quarters/dollars-- Sega video games, bocce, ski ball, large beer pong, foosball...SO. MUCH. SPACE. TVs for major game watches. Then there's fire pits and live music. So much to do (adults and kids, too). My only critique? Parking? No validation, only paid parking by the hour in the garage or gated parking lot.

The place was eclectic. There was a huge light bright display, various games, and it was spacious. I ordered a Hulk Hogan drink. I loved Hulk Hogan as a kid but this drink was lackluster. Service was quick. Not my vibe.

We recently went to Pins Mechanical for a small birthday gathering. It was my first time there and I was very pleasantly surprised. The place is very big and they have three food trucks. We all tried something different and the food was very good. They have seasonal drinks that were also good. There are games all around this very big space, inside and out and most of them are free! We just made a loop and tried most of the games and ended up in the pinball area. This is a great place for all ages. I had fun and my seven year-old grandson had a blast! From what I saw, you can bring in balloons and birthday cakes, etc. It seemed like the perfect place for a party or just a meet up with friends. I will definitely be back!

Went visited Pins a second time on a Sunday evening and I was surprised that it wasn't that busy. I was excited to see three new restaurants had moved into the space since our last visit. I didn't try them since I had already eaten, but will definitely be back for the pizza, sliders and sweet treats. They change out their specialty cocktail menu based on the season, so the drink I wanted again wasn't available. We ended up getting the macho man whiskey cocktail that came with a small slim Jim and the whiskey Good 'Ole Days, which was really good! The bench warmer was unique if you want to try something new. I love all the free games and activities. We can always entertain ourselves for hours here.

The only complaint I have is why they don't expand, because I would love to have one in St. Louis. We were visiting my sister and her family, and wanted something to do. We knew there were a couple breweries over here, so we decided to start at Pins knowing my nephew would want to play the games. And many games were played. We started with their "bowling" which I've never played but wow it was a blast. Something super easy for kiddos too. The skee ball was right by the lanes too which was perfect for keeping kiddos entertained between their turns. Then we walked the rest of the property. Which was INSANE. It's huge and SO MANY GAMES. My husband and I try to find an arcade bar every trip - this spot was so clean, so many options, and honestly, one of our faves. If my nephew wasn't ready to go, we probably could have been here for hours. The bar had so many great beers to choose from, and we even endulged in honestly, one of the better espresso martinis I've ever had. Food is pretty standard pub food - we went close to Thanksgiving so both food locations weren't open. We had wings and toasted ravs and they were pretty standard. If you're looking for something to spend your day doing, this is it. It's all you need. Great arcade, great games, great service, food and beer....the best.

Why did it take me so long to find out about this place? It's so huge. The games are good, the beers are good. I'll be back again soon

Oh my gosh! This place is HUGE! A wonderful beer and cocktail selection. Perfect for anyone. DOG FRIENDLY! And can we talk about the games?? Why is duck pin bowling so fun yet kinda hard? It doesn't matter my friend and I brought our dogs. We had a couple of drinks and giggled so much!! The staff are super friendly and have always been welcoming with great recommendations if you want some guidance. Also... their uniform / shirts are so cool. I want one! I'll be back! More bowling and other games in my future! Ps. Some great food trucks on site to choose from so you can spend hours walking, talking, snacking and playing! Why be an adult when you can be a big kid!

A perfect indoor (with outdoor options? Summer hangout away from the scorching Texas heat. They have bowling, arcade, party games, and an area nostalgic console games. You can throw events or just to come hang out and watch a game on the big screens. Came here for a kid's birthday party and the whole fam had a blast as it was for all ages. Def recommend if looking for an indoor retreat with activities for everyone.

We absolutely LOVE this place! The vibe is chill. There is plenty to do (mostly free) and the kids can play for hours with their friends while you have a drink with friends and family. They don't sell food but have three vendors to choose from that hit the usual bar food like burgers, fries, pizza, cheese curds, and dessert! The drinks are also very good. The last time we were there (we've been there like four times in the last 2 months) we had the special punch. I recommend buying it by the pitcher. Plus the bartenders are cool - tip them well. We would go more if we could but like most families - we are over scheduled!

I usually only go to coffee shops to work, but today, went on a coffee date with my dog instead. There's ground floor parking in the garage that's complimentary for two hours. I kept it simple with a vanilla latte. I noticed they had tacos at the bottom of the food menu, but at $13.25 for two tacos + an a la carte item, I decided to pass. Maybe my expectations were too high (as usual) because it's inside a hotel, but I was hoping for the kind of warm hospitality hotels are known for, but instead, the service felt a bit cold. It didn't exactly make me want to spend more money there. While sitting on the patio, I spotted the food truck outside and thought, "PERFECT. A food truck HAS to be cheaper. Take that Simona's!" I walked up to the window... only to find out it wasn't actually a separate food truck. It was just the pickup window. To order? I had to go back inside to Simona's and place my order with the delightful staff... I ended up ordering two Blue Migas tacos, and honestly, they were just... good, but nothing memorable. They tasted like your average breakfast tacos that you can find all over Austin for less. Despite loving how relaxing the outdoor patio is with its lucious greenery surrounding you and the beautiful French chairs and cafe tables, it's located right next to the hotel pool. If you're visiting on a summer afternoon, expect some extra noise with pool guests. If you're looking for a quiet coffee or a place to work, I'd recommend coming early in the morning instead.

UPDATE: many reviews mentioned 4 hour parking, but this is no longer true - it is 2 HOUR parking the with a fee of $10 afterword. Not ideal for a remote working location for more than a short break. Matcha was one of the more expensive in Austin but solid. Food was great (got the birria tacos which were SO tender, although I did have a slight stomach ache right after - maybe just the grease). Went on a Tues during the day and there were many people working upstairs (quietly), but available seats for 2 or 3 ppl downstairs.

This round also took forever and we drank it standing, crowded, in everyone's way. I was embarrassed as it was my birthday, and I was taking a group of 7 other people - new to Austin - here to check out what was one of my favorite spots. The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.
