I came here to watch an NFL playoff game. The outdoor area is large with big screens. Since it was cold and daylight, I watched the game from inside. It was a nice spot with a stage, multiple televisions and cozy seating. I had a mixed drink from their cocktail menu. It wasn't crowded yet, but I'm sure this place can get busy. 1. Love the name! 2. Outdoor space is expansive and the stage is huge for a small venue. Loved that they have turf outside so it wasn't all dirt and dust. Appreciated the outdoor heaters. Plenty of seating on nice picnic tables. A few different levels so us shorter people can find a spot to see. There was a small bar, which could have been bigger to serve the number of people in line, but the line looked to be moving pretty quickly. There was an outdoor covered space with pretty lights. I love Inn Cahoots/IYKYK! We first started coming here for game day my senior year at UT, so to start coming regularly when we go out, is such a full circle! This night we went after hitting Latchkey first and it was wayyy better vibes. The place is huge and has an upstairs rooftop and then a big space downstairs with food trucks and multiple bars. You have all the space to move around and hang out with friends and location is absolutely perfect, right on east 6th with all the other bars. Watched the UT game here this past Saturday and really appreciated the hospitality! Bartenders were slammed but still very attentive despite the L we took. This place would be great if they limited the amount of guests at some point during big events. The inside was so packed it was hard to walk to the exit or restroom. I don't recommend sitting outside during the summer here unless you've secured a shaded area. However, the staff handed out umbrella to uncovered guests which was pretty nice. Overall, it's a great place to watch the games or just enjoy the patio when it's not packed! read more

What a fun new and diverse space this is on the east side with a section for everyone! Came in on a Saturday evening first up the elevator to the rooftop of Inn Cahoots. What a gorgeous view and sunset up here. Then down to the Austin Garden & Studio. This is more of a casual vibe with food trucks, a few bars and live music. Then last stop was the Studio part of the Austin Garden. Had a blast! They had a DJ playing some old school R&B. Danced the night away. This review is for their new rooftop speakeasy they opened this summer, IYKYK, in East Austin. Visited here for the first time a few Saturday evenings ago. The downtown skyline view of the city is immaculate, i'd say nearly unmatched. The ambiance is definitely cool, a little uppity/nicer, and a pleasant aesthetic with plants, modern decor & furniture. While our cocktails were good, for the higher prices & extremely long wait for all of us to get drinks (they were ofc hella busy & backed way uppp at the bar on a Sat night around 10:15-10:30p), something's gotta give here - either hire another bartender for your higher volume on Friday & Saturday nights, or lower your cocktail prices for the lower quality services & experience provided. However, that's not to say - The few bartenders here a few Sat nights ago are wonderful in personality & service! The music was alright, but eventually we left after maybee an hour and fifteen because we felt overall it was too slow for our liking - both in terms of the music, and that no one was dancing - and went elsewhere to actually dance and drink! read more

My fiancé and I had out of town guests for a bday & needed a big place to chill & call homebase for the weekend. We even had family style dinner one night there for 15 people! The location cannot be beat...hands down THE BEST! It's extremely convenient by popular bars/restaurants/food trucks. Also located a walkable distance to Target. Super cool spot because there's also Bar Mischief inside the space that you have first hand access to and also has tasty drinks. The IYKYK rooftop is an amazing spot to watch the sunset and a nice size. It's VERY lively, atmosphere and noise level. Front row seats to live music - ATX vibes. 5 rooms, 2 full size beds in each room - bunk style. Three bathrooms. FULL BODY MIRRORS in each room, yes please!!! Again, PERFECT for large groups. Horrible Initial Experience. Bouncer could not have been more rude. Rude enough to make use leave. Inconsistent with how they treat people. (From the 10 people I noticed walked in and the ones behind me). I love the idea, but first impressions are everything. Bouncers are the first people you see when you enter a bar; they're evocative of the experience and our's was aggressive and inhospitable. Power High Bouncers are the biggest no go. This isn't a post to not try it out, more so to make awareness of bouncers not allowing for a good experience. If you get in, I hear the views are awesome. So worth a try. I would rate a zero if I could. This place has the WORST customer service. It is NOT worth the price you pay. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else if you want to guarantee a care-free stay that is worth the price. During my stay the garbage disposal of the sink did not work AND the ceiling in one of the bathrooms had water leaks in multiple spots. I notified Shay and she saw for herself the water leak damage and the faulty garbage disposal. I also spoke with someone named "Kristen" about the issues that came up during my stay. She was extremely rude, claiming that this had never happened before even though there was clear evidence of water damage in numerous spots on the ceiling. It was very embarrassing and nerve-racking to deal with on MY birthday in front of all of my friends. I asked kindly for some sort of compensation, considering what I had to deal with and the poor quality of the room, but received no response. They are NOT professional at all. read more

I was here for my brothers wedding party. Im not sure if the whole place is all one big house, it's perfect for big groups, or any kind of party you are looking to host. The place is massive it's like a house inside a hotel. Two huge kitchens and tons of separate rooms that sleep probably 20-30 people. Other people did book the places next to us, but you surprisingly have tons of privacy and you aren't able to hear any of the other guests. To top if all off Shea let us know we left a Apple Watch behind which was mine! They are honest, friendly, and will be there after you check out if needed. I would highly recommend! read more

I stayed here were a group of friends while visiting Austin and was not disappointed! The interior decor was like taking the coolest pins off of Pinterest and having it turned into reality, it oozes creativity. Austin is known as the music capital of the world and that vibe is certainly executed in their music themed bathrooms. Amazing place! The interiors are modern and chic and the set up works well for groups visiting Austin. The living areas are conducive to gathering together and having fun while the bedrooms are peaceful and quiet. The amenities are excellent! We loved the rooftop deck and the pool, though small and more of a splash pool it is still fun to hang around. Everyone there was helpful and friendly when we needed anything and they were happy to accommodate any needs which arose. They aren't even deserving of one star. Would not refund our full reservation due to COVID-19. They have the option of providing full refund while VRBO would take care of any fees due to cancellation. I want to also blame VRBO as well as they give them the option to only give 50%. Cities are on total lockdowns until April 7th...how is that fair! My fiancé was able to get a full refund no fees and no money lost for his Airbnb in Nashville so this is really disheartening. I get they're probably dealing with a lot of cancellations and losing money but not refunding during a god damn pandemic is completely unethical and utter bullshit. read more

Finally, able to get a chance to leave this place an AWESOME review. The boutique bar, with hanging chandlers and the neon sign " Let's create Mischief," was so perfect for photos with friends and family. We had a selected premium drink menu with all my favorite cocktails and renamed it just for me, Hey it is my Birthday!! We took the party upstairs to the rooftop with views of downtown. The Bartender was so helpfully servicing our drinks throughout the night with the best outgoing personality. The party ended in our four-bedroom Villas with access to a patio, including air hockey and board games. The living space was more than enough to gather all around to sing Happy Birthday. Thank you to all the staff who help my amazing partner in mischief Jay plan a fantastic surprise birthday party. You all have forever made this one of my most entertaining, thoughtful (unforgettable, exciting, insert excited adjective *here) birthday moments to date! The space is SPOTLESS and the staff was always willing to go above and beyond to make sure our stay was incredible. The owners even stopped by and chatted with us for a bit.
