My boyfriend took me here because he's been here a lot with his friends, and we needed to pass the time before a movie. He'd never been here during the evenings because it's supposedly jam-packed and filled with people during the day. I can definitely sense the vibe because there's a pool in the middle and their drinks are really reasonably priced. We sat at the bar on a Sunday evening during MDW, and there weren't many people at all. However, the bartender was really nice and kept checking in on us. My boyfriend and I tried the aperol spritz and their frozen hurricane. Both were quite good, but the frozen hurricane was the best. I would love to come back during the day!

Been coming to Kitty Cohen's for many years ever since they first opened. It's always a fun laid back chill vibe. This Sunday they had free crawfish from Eastside Boilers. There was a line that stretched to the door for crawfish and yes it was packed, but on the positive side it was a gorgeous sunny day and we ordered some drinks to dip on while in line. The crawfish were on the smaller side, but full of flavor and spicy too! Had such a great time grubbing on some crawfish and hanging with friends!

Came here for a night cap after getting dinner nearby and this bar was so cute! They have such a nice backyard patio with a mater feature and plenty of seating. Our drinks were all great and the bartenders were very nice. I am looking forward to coming here again!

Super cute spot! I didn't try any of the drinks personally, but people in our group did, and they really enjoyed the happy hour specials. We went on a Monday night in Dec and it wasn't busy at all, plus there were some cute Hanukkah decorations in the patio area.

One of the very best cocktail spots in Austin. It's especially fun during Hanukkah when they go all in with big decorations and special drinks! Grab a few cocktails and a seat by the pool, but be warned - It's pretty romantic. The last time I went on a first date here it became my last one ever. The entire staff is great, but we especially love Kenny!

Perfect shaded patio to stop in for a drink to cool off this summer. Some different cocktail options to choose from and bartenders stay consistent. Great place to meet up with friends!

Love love this bar! As a day drinker I like that Kitty Cohen's is open early and on Mondays with a great happy hour! Everytime I visit I always feel like I'm transported to somewhere tropical, I really enjoy sitting in the backyard and reading a book. I don't have anything bad to say about the service, the bartenders have always been very nice and so have the patrons! This is one of my favorite bars in Austin.

I had a nice visiting this bar. It's super cute and I love the outside and inside ambiance. All the servers are great and they had Zee's Wiener System there so I ate two hotdogs while having my drinks. The hot dogs were a pop up but they were absolutely delicious!!!! I went early in the afternoon and although it was hot and sunny the inside bar was cool so I bounced in and out. The DJ was playing amazing music and it was a cool spot. Everyone there was so nice. The women's bathroom had these beautiful flamingos which made the decor stunning!

Small but cute bar! The drinks were on point! I loved their dreamsicle and house margarita. My boyfriend enjoyed the bees knees cocktail. The ambiance is cool and I liked the vibe. The dried Oranges and lemons were a nice touch on the drinks. It was a bit chilly outside and the patio heat lamps weren't on. We actually saw a patron trying to turn theirs on herself. Once there was space inside we finished our drinks there. There was an employee walking around clearing tables. It was odd though, she would clear glasses of those that weren't even finished. A dog was tied to a table with drinks and we tried yelling they weren't finished before she grabbed the cups. When inside she quickly grabbed my boyfriend's drink without asking if he was finished with it...he wasn't. It happened so fast. Parking is available on the street, check for no parking signs.

Cute happy hour spot!! I was easily able to find street parking and the outdoor patio will be so nice as it warms up! Good HH deals - highly recommend the Bees Knees!

My wife and I dropped by for drinks earlg on Fri. around 4pm...parking on the street was easy, and we really enjoyed the poolside vibe / ambiance and umbrella atmosphere. We were unfortunate enough to have a gust of wind pull our umbrella down on top of us, but only drinks were lost, no injuries, and the bartenders wete quick to comp refills. we began w Aperol Spritzes, but loved our mezcal drinks even more. They had some hot dog booth setup by the pool which was cool, too. Honestly, this is simply a nice place to sit outside, enjoy sun and shade, and sip on nice drinks crafted by some people that know their craft. Dogs were welcome, too. We'll be back. Happy Hour (3-6) was good, but we ordered off that menu for the mezcal and were happy.

Looking for the perfect outdoor cocktail bar? Look no further than Kitty Cohens! This hidden gem on the eastside is always consistent on good vibes & drinks which was no different on the recent event I went to. What I love about this place the most is the outside pool which comes in handy during our hot texas summers which fun fact they also serve frozen treats like the expresso martini and the dreamsicle which I got to try this go around. Both are super tasty and refreshing but if frozen isn't your thing they also have plenty of beer and wine options as well. Try to come in for deal during happy hour which runs Monday thru Friday from 3 to 6. Ill definitely be coming back once summertime rolls around again.

The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

The server / hostess seemed frazzled and kept running around trying to get us a section and talking to people about leaving. We stood there waiting for about 30 minutes. Then we were finally seated in a section barely big enough for 6, we were crammed in like sardines, sweatin. We asked the parties next to us if they could push over a bit so we all could fit, luckily they were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted not too long after being seated, Our order was taken by the first server, It took about 30 minutes for drinks and food to start to come out. The birthday girl ordered a hookah and it took an hour and a half for it to come out. Then we were not checked on for about an hour, We finally ordered more drinks and then we never received them, We asked three different servers and were told several times that they were taking care of it and it was never taken care of, We left at 1:15 without ever getting our additional orders. One of the servers told us that the bar was crazy busy and that they were probably making our drinks and people at the bar were just taking them. So chaotic. We were finally helped by Heaven and Summer at the end around 1:00 a.m. when we asked to pay for our tab. After 30 minutes of waiting, my server told me that everyone & their momma ordered a bunch of stuff at the same time since the food/drink special was for a short period of time, which resulted in extremely long wait times for food. The Eventbrite page didn't mention that the special was only for the 1st half of the game, which led me to believe that management pulled this not-so-bright idea out of his anus at the last minute. I waited over an hour for my food & when it finally arrived, it was not the flavor I asked for. The servers are very kind & had a great attitude despite the chaos. The food at this place is always really good. But the overall experience and timely delivery of food during their football watch party left a lot to be desired. I'm going to give this place one more try because you can't beat $1 wings (that actually are very flavorful) & $5 drinks on GameDay. However, I wouldn't go on an empty stomach. I also hope they expand their special for the whole entire game like it was the last time I went for UT/Oklahoma. ***UPDATE*** I returned for UT/Texas A&M. I paid $60 to reserve a table indoors.
