Went to this interesting, fun venue with my wife, and two friends, on their invitation last night. Got lucky and parked across the street, but I think parking could be a bit challenging later on in the evening. The place was decorated for Hanukkah, which is a change of pace from typical Christmas decorations this time of year. Nice touch. A woman named Ming that cooks up some delicious Cambodian food put her Hanukkah spin on three items, and all were good, but special mention for the curry matzoh ball soup which was fantastic! Outdoors would be fun on a bit warmer evening. Inside was comfortable. Variety of drinks. I enjoyed the evening and will return one day.

I've been going to Kitty Cohen's for years and it was hit or miss for me at first, but now I love it. The turnaround point was when I was an extra for the show twentysomethings and they filmed a scene here. I got a drink ticket or two, but I befriended the bartenders and ended up getting hooked up all night. I've enjoyed their pop up Halloween bar when that happens. But recently Kitty Cohen's added a Sunday night whisky special... all top shelf whisky is half off and they have $7 Old Fashioned's. Amazing! Always great service from whoever's working. Wish this place was more hoppin'.

Nice bar. Loved the details all around, I love a well stocked bathroom. Cool indoor/outdoor pool table room. Cool for a group.

My boyfriend took me here because he's been here a lot with his friends, and we needed to pass the time before a movie. He'd never been here during the evenings because it's supposedly jam-packed and filled with people during the day. I can definitely sense the vibe because there's a pool in the middle and their drinks are really reasonably priced. We sat at the bar on a Sunday evening during MDW, and there weren't many people at all. However, the bartender was really nice and kept checking in on us. My boyfriend and I tried the aperol spritz and their frozen hurricane. Both were quite good, but the frozen hurricane was the best. I would love to come back during the day!

Been coming to Kitty Cohen's for many years ever since they first opened. It's always a fun laid back chill vibe. This Sunday they had free crawfish from Eastside Boilers. There was a line that stretched to the door for crawfish and yes it was packed, but on the positive side it was a gorgeous sunny day and we ordered some drinks to dip on while in line. The crawfish were on the smaller side, but full of flavor and spicy too! Had such a great time grubbing on some crawfish and hanging with friends!

Came here for a night cap after getting dinner nearby and this bar was so cute! They have such a nice backyard patio with a mater feature and plenty of seating. Our drinks were all great and the bartenders were very nice. I am looking forward to coming here again!

Super cute spot! I didn't try any of the drinks personally, but people in our group did, and they really enjoyed the happy hour specials. We went on a Monday night in Dec and it wasn't busy at all, plus there were some cute Hanukkah decorations in the patio area.

One of the very best cocktail spots in Austin. It's especially fun during Hanukkah when they go all in with big decorations and special drinks! Grab a few cocktails and a seat by the pool, but be warned - It's pretty romantic. The last time I went on a first date here it became my last one ever. The entire staff is great, but we especially love Kenny!

Perfect shaded patio to stop in for a drink to cool off this summer. Some different cocktail options to choose from and bartenders stay consistent. Great place to meet up with friends!

Love love this bar! As a day drinker I like that Kitty Cohen's is open early and on Mondays with a great happy hour! Everytime I visit I always feel like I'm transported to somewhere tropical, I really enjoy sitting in the backyard and reading a book. I don't have anything bad to say about the service, the bartenders have always been very nice and so have the patrons! This is one of my favorite bars in Austin.

I had a nice visiting this bar. It's super cute and I love the outside and inside ambiance. All the servers are great and they had Zee's Wiener System there so I ate two hotdogs while having my drinks. The hot dogs were a pop up but they were absolutely delicious!!!! I went early in the afternoon and although it was hot and sunny the inside bar was cool so I bounced in and out. The DJ was playing amazing music and it was a cool spot. Everyone there was so nice. The women's bathroom had these beautiful flamingos which made the decor stunning!

Small but cute bar! The drinks were on point! I loved their dreamsicle and house margarita. My boyfriend enjoyed the bees knees cocktail. The ambiance is cool and I liked the vibe. The dried Oranges and lemons were a nice touch on the drinks. It was a bit chilly outside and the patio heat lamps weren't on. We actually saw a patron trying to turn theirs on herself. Once there was space inside we finished our drinks there. There was an employee walking around clearing tables. It was odd though, she would clear glasses of those that weren't even finished. A dog was tied to a table with drinks and we tried yelling they weren't finished before she grabbed the cups. When inside she quickly grabbed my boyfriend's drink without asking if he was finished with it...he wasn't. It happened so fast. Parking is available on the street, check for no parking signs.

Cute happy hour spot!! I was easily able to find street parking and the outdoor patio will be so nice as it warms up! Good HH deals - highly recommend the Bees Knees!

I felt the vibe instantly, like as soon as I put one foot in the door. Magical, sophisticated, worldly, wonderful and more were the feelings that spontaneously hit me. The dark and elegant decor, lighting, design, & layout made me feel as though I were in a high-end Tokyo cocktail lounge. The front room as I mentioned is an intimate bar and lounge area with artwork adorning the walls. It's a modern, minimalist, and sleek space. The artwork is ever-changing (every couple of months or so) and the cocktail menu changes right long with it. Note: artwork is available for purchase. What an absolutely glorious way of combining different mediums (liquid art vs physical art). The craft cocktails & mocktails are the epitome of works of art. I've had great cocktails and mocktails elsewhere but honestly I'd be hard pressed to find anything on this level. You're taken into an entirely different realm just watching the genius of mixologists. It's mesmerizing watching them hone their craft. In the back of the lounge is an enclave of eclectic art and other pieces that then leads you to Konbini, the sushi bar. It's an industrial, warehouse vibe with a long counter that screams hip, Tokyo inspired, late-night eatery. Service is impeccable and welcoming at this cosmopolitan venue. It's truly an amazing experience.

I was pretty bothered by my experience here. Even aside from their mid drinks, it felt like we were constantly chasing down servers and they were only attentive when they needed something from us. We went to the photobooth to take pictures before we sat down, but the machine ate my money and broke down. I let a server know, and he came back and said he would comp $20 off of our meal, which I was happy about. I honestly only wanted them to refund me my $10 for the photobooth strip. However, they came back a few minutes later and gave us a photo card and told us to use it to pay for the photobooth and it could be used an unlimited amount of times. I was also happy with this solution, but what happened afterwards left a bad taste in my friends' and my mouth. We hadn't gotten menus or been asked what we wanted to order yet. We were just waiting around for drink menus and food menus, so we didn't want to get up and go take photos when they might come back to take our orders. The manager (?) came back to me a few minutes later and asked if we had taken photos yet, and I let him know that we were waiting to be given menus. He said someone else would give us menus, and another server gave us only a drink menu. A few minutes later, we are still waiting for food menus. The same manager came back and asked us to not lose the photo card. At this point, we were frustrated. Why come back constantly to ask for a photo card when we haven't even been given our food or our menus yet? When we finally got our food, a different server asked if we had given back the photo card yet. They were so pressed about getting this photo card back and not actually getting our orders, and we also thought it was a bit distasteful to offer a solution (the $20 off the meal) but then go back on it with the photo card. It was presented as "unlimited" swipes but we were rushed to give the card back, and realistically, we only had enough time to take one set of photos. The drinks themselves were truly just okay. I don't think any of us were particularly impressed with our drinks, but the interior of Papercut is really nice and intimate.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.

Lara went with a Moon Song (rum, blackberry, lime, and honey with lavender cold foam) and an espresso martini and enjoyed both. After finally being greeted, we were told our section wasn't ready, the other party hadn't left yet. The server / hostess seemed frazzled and kept running around trying to get us a section and talking to people about leaving. We stood there waiting for about 30 minutes. Then we were finally seated in a section barely big enough for 6, we were crammed in like sardines, sweatin. We asked the parties next to us if they could push over a bit so we all could fit, luckily they were friendly and accommodating. We were greeted not too long after being seated, Our order was taken by the first server, It took about 30 minutes for drinks and food to start to come out. The birthday girl ordered a hookah and it took an hour and a half for it to come out. Then we were not checked on for about an hour, We finally ordered more drinks and then we never received them, We asked three different servers and were told several times that they were taking care of it and it was never taken care of, We left at 1:15 without ever getting our additional orders. One of the servers told us that the bar was crazy busy and that they were probably making our drinks and people at the bar were just taking them. So chaotic. We were finally helped by Heaven and Summer at the end around 1:00 a.m. when we asked to pay for our tab. Of course the tab was all wrong because it had all of the drinks we ordered that we never received. Again, chaotic. I felt bad for the birthday girl because she was really excited about being there for the first time with all of us and the experience was subpar at best. I will say, the best part was the DJ, HellaYella. And the jerk lamb chops. Also, If and I mean if, We ever go back, We will not reserve a section like that and we will get our drinks at the front bar and sit out on the nice patio. We'll see.
