Very cute interior - loved the record wall and sign near the restrooms. There is a fun photobooth with hilarious photos people have taken too. They had just released a new drink menu, and I tried one that was made with vegan cream of coconut and tequila. It was SO good and refreshing. Definitely not a tiny, small placed brewery...but it's true... everything is bigger in Texas! When we were at Pinthouse I spotted a Mexican Lager which is a type of lager I love and especially in warm weather... a perfect summer beer for me! The name of the beer was Burro's Breakfast. In the flavor profile of this beer you will find a naturally sweet corn flavor, some maltiness along with a tart and dry finish. The beer is light bodied like most lagers of this type and smooth in body. In addition to having a beer we also decided to get some lunch. So we got a chicken sandwich a piece along with coleslaw and had a very nice lunch. Coming to Pinthouse Brewing proved to be a good stop as we made a pretty extensive tour of the breweries in Austin.

This location has three food trucks including one of my favorites, Shortwave Diner. Their smashburger and Reuben sandwiches with homemade fries are delicious. Radio also offers an amazing happy hour from 4 pm to close every Monday through Thursday. The hibiscus mojito is the perfect summer treat. This location has a great trivia on Tuesday nights too. I got one of their dark rum cocktails. They had some yummy food trucks in the back and several of us had items from Wow Poke which was really good. The weather was nice so we could sit outside in the back area in the shade while we ate. Then we wandered around and listened to the bands for a bit. It's a really nice space. I've been there once before for swing dancing one evening. I wish I lived closer to it but I'm sure I'll end up back here eventually for another event!

The Cosmic Saltillo location is our go-to because it's walking distance from our home. This original location is amazing. Love the both so much.
