Had a reservation for uhaul but still ended up waiting a long time, 45 minutes past our reservation.

This is a very cool store. Not only are they a mail store, they are also a U-Haul Rental store AND they have a variety of foods which are hard to find from all over Europe. This is a cool place and knowing they have these cookies I love from overseas, I will be back there. Of course they are a Mail store and U-Haul rentals, if ever needed this is a place will use. It is under new management/ownership, so you should visit this place if you have never been or revisit if you have used in the past. Great people, great products and great service. read more

Horrible dirty place with horrible customer service! He had a face book listing for a keurig that said used-like new condition and did not disclose that water reservoir was cracked. I drove all the way to the store to discover this, told them that I would pass because it's cracked. He didn't say anything and I left. I messaged after and said I was disappointed that it was not disclosed and I wasted my time and he told me that he screamed and chased after me that he had another which he did not do, then told me to have manners and listen when people are talking which he never did and then proceeded to block me and messaged my husband never to come back to the store again. Worst experience I've ever had after being a repeat customer for Uhaul rental trucks. I asked to speak to manager to dispute charges and was directed to customer service which was nice but they said I would get a call within 24-48 hours from a regional Manager which was over a week ago and just today I got the call. When talking to him he was the rudest manager I've ever encountered. He was saying I was making insinuations for asking questions. Super odd considering his position. We returned the truck early (didn't expect to get money back for that which we didn't) and put gas back and cleaned the truck. I have never requested insurance in all the years I've rented from them either. This time I had charges for insurance and gas that I supposedly took a picture of at an angle to "pretend I filled it right" and I was being charged for insurance and the fees remained. When talking to customer service they said it happens a lot when you park on a slope or even a small hill yet he never mentioned that just to get out of refunding my fee.There have been times when we over fill the truck on gas and never been refunded but this time being overly charged for rude and disrespectful charges is ridiculous. This place is a rip off. Avoid them if possible. The Regional manager is the biggest joke of all. read more

I came here after placing a Uhaul reservation online. There were three customers in front of me in line and I had to wait over thirty minutes in line due an incompetent owner and to make things worse was I was given the wrong truck with the wrong milage estimate and a defective tow dolly. I was due to owe alot of $ once I arrived at the drop off location, but due to their competence and customer skills; the crisis was adverted. read more

He takes his time with his customers and values our business. Dont trust them to keep a U-haul reservation! Came by 1-1/2 hours before their closing time, to pick up truck we reserved. Store is closed. Now we have to rush across town to the only other U-haul rental that is still open. NOT HAPPY. read more

I use mail plus all the time and on any other day i would have given them five stars, because they have always sent my packages and they have never gotten lost, but most of my packages were just cookies and brownies i send to my boyfriend when we are apart. I have given them 2 stars because of what happened recently, and i advise against people sending packages through them that have prepaid shipping labels. When you actually pay for the shipping, they will give you a confirmation number and are very courteous but when you aren't paying them for the shipping they lose your packages and don't care. My experience the reason i wanted to give them 1 star but gave them 2 because of the times they got it right. My boyfriend spent a bit of money to get my a present but it wasn't as they described online so for the amount he paid i thought it wasn't worth it so i decided to send it back. We contacted the seller and they sent us a free shipping label but i don't have a printer here in vegas (im from california) so i went to mail plus because they said they would allow me to print my label there, so i did, and i noticed the label said ups ground, so i made sure to ask the guy, Do you guys accept ups packages? and he said oh yeah, we do. so i trusted them and left it with them. I checked ups today to track the package and they only have it that there was a label made for the return but no scan of the item what so ever, so i called mail plus right when they opened to find out what happened. They are blaming the ups guy who comes to pick up packages saying that it either got lost in the shuffle when he came to pick it up or that its lost in there warehouse. I asked could they have sent it to a wrong service they said no, usps would not accept the package if it said ups. Just in case i called both ups and usps, usps has never received this item. As for ups, they said they would scan all items before entering their truck, and that they would scan them again when it enters into their warehouse, and there's no way it was able to be shipped from the warehouse without it being scanned again, so there's no way it bypassed 3 scans. I called mail plus back explained all this, and basically they said, they are in a transition phase so he doesn't know what happened but they know that i brought in the package. that the most they could do for losing my package is to ask the ups delivery pick up guy if he knows where my package is, because you know picking up many many many deliveries everyday hes going to remember my package a couple days ago. i kept asking them what they are going to do when my package isn't found and they just kept telling me they won't tell me that, that they don't want to speculate. so basically they lost my package, and their only option is the ask the pick up guy. they also forgot to tell me that ups pick up is a courtesy service not one of their actual services, otherwise i would have driven down the street to the ups office. so thank you mail plus for losing my package and doing nothing about it. Even though i used your service for every single one of my packages, i will no longer use your services hopefully this review will help others from losing their packages and their refunds because of their incompetence. read more

To improve, first I would recommend the trucks actually be maintained. This is the third time we have rented a 26' truck and the third time the battery has died. Only this time, it was worse; we had to jump it 5 times. Since U-haul obviously has no quality control nor pride in its name, we won't be using U-hauls again. We let the owners know and as expected no acknowledgment, apology, or compensation. read more

I will never come back here! If I could give them -5 stars, I would. My whole family has used this place for European market, overseas mailing and U-Haul rentals for the past 5 years. Sometimes they were out of groceries that we liked but they'd order whatever we requested. It was inconvenient but we adapted because family there is so nice and they really try. Always so nice. Sometime last fall or winter before the holidays they stopped the market completely. We found out that the family who used to run it, sold it. We still tried to go there to mail but sometimes people there and sometimes not so we go elsewhere to mail for awhile. I thought maybe new owners were just struggling setting up their new business so I didn't give up on them. We just rented a truck to move my daughter who just got married onto her new house with her husband. WHAT A RIP OFF!! I was on time to pick up truck but had to wait over 45 minutes because store was closed. I was charged for a dolly I didn't order (my son is a mover and has 3) and we didn't get one, there was none on the truck with the zip tie that may have been accidentally broken or something so what is this charge for?!? The person at the counter said that since they weren't there when we got it, they can only go by what's on paper and the charge isn't reversible! I was charged for gas ... it was half tank when we picked up and just over half when we dropped off. Like I said, we have rented these trucks many times in my family and we know the rules. I called to ask why I have a gas charge and got a lot of rudeness and yelling but no answer. Every time I spoke, the man yelled over me. I was charged $45 even tho it had more at drop off than when I got it!!! He said it must be returned full!!! That has never been the rule and why would I replace gas that someone else used?? He either put me on hold unannounced or hung up on me. I decided to talk to him in person. I live in community behind store so just maybe 10 minutes later I got there ... lights off and locked up at 4:17 PM! I gave up. I filed dispute with my credit card company for fraudulent charges. read more

They won't mention the $25 cleaning fee and then up-charge you without giving you a final bill--This place is under new ownership and not a European grocery shop anymore. New Owners are very nice but haven't trained their employees adequately. When we picked up our Uhaul reservation (on a Monday) there was a young girl only working, who was on her phone the whole time. She didn't explain anything to us and DIDN'T give us a copy of the contract. When we returned the Uhaul truck I had to call and have them check what gas level it ought to be returned at; then still had to go inside and get a print out of how many gallons i would need to fill. I checked out in person, they gave me no final bill and then charged me a $25 cleaning fee without having ever mentioned anything when picking-up AND dropping off the truck. We had swept the truck and would have cleaned it even more if we had known about the $25 cleaning fee! I called them right away about the charges, they apologized for their employee and said they would issue me a refund. Refund was not issued, so I am going to call my bank and dispute the charge. Would not recommend renting from this place! read more

Went to this location to order from their U-haul services. Christina and Jim went above and beyond expectations and provided great service. After getting partway to our destination, we had a personal situation, and had to work something out with a different type of u-haul service. I DO NOT recommend utilizing this establishment to send anything of importance out for you. I called prior to coming in and asked about shipping. The owner assured me that sending out a simple greeting card next day delivery, 2 day at max would not be a problem. I was charged $35 to send a card overnight delivery, only to check tracking the following day that the card would not be delivered until 4 days later. At that point, I could've just sent it regular delivery. When calling to speak to the store manager, I come to find out that the store manager is the same girl who made the error in the first place! I immediately get the run around of "well, we are not the primary shippers sooo", "you may want to call fedex yourself and see what they can do", "yeah, I thought it read next day...sorry", "maybe I selected the wrong shipping type", "I just read the screen, it might be wrong". I then was told that she would refund the $35, after I asked since this was absolutely ridiculous to pay at this point since the arrival time was standard mail. When I drove over to the store, loan behold the "store manager" was hanging out without a care in the world outside of the building with her feet up in a chair while on her phone. Professionalism? Not at this place. In speaking to her, the refund went from a full refund to $10 back. Wow. The money at the end of the day wasn't the major issue. The card that I was sending out in fact was. The fact that when you as a postal service establishment say that something will be delivered on a certain date should in fact have a guarantee. I can understand even a day late, but really 4? Maybe this place is better at renting uhaul equipment, but I highly recommend that this business reconsiders being in the mail delivery field. read more
