I used Mover Labor twice this summer and was very pleased with their work each time. Communication and scheduling was very easy. Pricing was straightforward. They worked non stop from beginning to end of the time paid for. The team disassembled and reassembled my bigger furniture pieces and carefully placed each item in my new home. Santiago even worked extra quick to get my move done in two hours so I didn't have to pay for the third which I was so appreciative of! I definitely recommend them! read more

Great service, and they worked fast and handled all of my stuff with care. I had two stops, one to storage and the other to my new place. I was quoted and charged a lot less than other services I looked into. Nico and his guys really took care of everything, wrapped my furniture and saved me extra space in my storage if I need it. I highly recommend them and will definitely be hiring them again in the future! read more

I messaged Santiago a week before I needed my items moved and we scheduled it. He was transparent with the price. I needed a small amount of items moved from my classroom to my house. Him and his partner arrived 10 minutes early and quickly finished within 25 minutes. They were careful with my items and met me at my house. The whole thing took less than an hour. I would highly recommend Santiago and his company should you need movers. Thank you! read more

Mover Labor - Movers Near Me

The three movers from Mover Labor were great. They worked efficiently, handled our belongings well, and completed the entire move within two hours. However, the additional $200 surcharge and the interaction afterward left me disappointed with the overall experience. Their written quote listed two movers and a truck at $135 per hour, or three movers and a truck at $150 per hour, with a two-hour minimum. It included protective blankets, plastic wrap, furniture disassembly and reassembly tools, mileage, and gas. The quote stated "no hidden fees" twice but made no mention of specialty-item or heavy-item surcharges. On moving day, after the crew arrived, we were informed of an additional charge for a small organ weighing approximately 150 pounds. I saw $25 initially written down; after the mover called the office, the surcharge presented for payment was $200. When I later questioned that discrepancy, the company said the $25 was "most likely" taxes. Two movers carried the organ out and loaded it onto the truck in approximately four minutes. At the new house, they carried it through the front door and about 20 feet into a first-floor family room. There were no stairs, disassembly, special equipment, or additional preparation involved. In my opinion, $200 was excessive for the handling required. During our follow-up exchange, the company explained that specialty-item charges depend on the item, its weight, and responsibility for potential damage. They also clarified that heavier pianos and safes do not necessarily carry the same fee. I understand that explanation, but it did not resolve my concern about the amount charged for this particular organ. The company said the organ was not mentioned in the original job description and that the fee was explained and accepted before work began. I understand they were unaware of it when preparing the quote. However, they could still have included a statement that specialty or heavy items may incur additional charges and asked us to identify those items ahead of time. Customers cannot reasonably be expected to know what a company considers a "specialty item" without that information. Once the movers are at your home and everything needs to be moved, there is little practical opportunity to compare prices or make other arrangements. Proceeding with the move did not mean I considered the surcharge reasonable. The company offered a 10% discount on a separate cleaning service, which did not address my concern about the moving charge. I'm not accusing anyone of dishonesty or questioning their intentions. My concerns are the amount of the surcharge and the lack of disclosure in the initial quote. If a quote prominently states "no hidden fees," it should also explain that additional fees may apply and what could trigger them. The crew deserves credit for a job well done. My advice to future customers is to ask about specialty-item surcharges and get all potential additional charges confirmed in writing before moving day--even when the quote says "no hidden fees." read more

Absolutely amazing moving company! We've used them twice now, and both experiences have been great. The movers were professional, hardworking, careful with our belongings, and made what is normally such a stressful process so much easier. They worked efficiently, handled everything with care, and were friendly and respectful from beginning to end. The fact that we chose to use them a second time says it all! It's hard to find movers you can actually trust with your things, and I would definitely use them again. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, professional movers! read more

Best movers in town!!! I reached out super last minute around 10pm the night before and they were ready to go at 10:30am the next morning. Santiago and Nico were incredible - super friendly, professional, and insanely efficient. They got everything out of my apartment, drove it over to my new place, and had everything unloaded in under 2 hours. Everything went smoothly and they took great care of all my stuff the entire time. I was dreading moving day and they made the whole process so much easier and way less stressful than I expected. Really appreciate them being able to help me out on such short notice too. Huge shoutout to Santiago and Nico. Great guys, hard workers, and I'd 100% recommend them to anyone looking for movers in Vegas read more

Santiago and the 2nd mover came about 5 min early. Perfect start. Worked very fast. They had all of the proper equipment (which has been a problem with other movers). And were respectful and gentle with my stuff. This is all I could ever ask for. I knew my job was small, so I looked all over for movers that could do an hour minimum. Spoke with at least 10 companies and every single one was 2-3 hours minimum. So, I went with Mover Labor because they were the cheapest, no hidden fees, and good reviews. So glad I did. Another person mentioned paying upfront. Definitely a first for me as well, but I didn't care that much. Maybe because I was expecting it and wasn't caught off guard. Also, extra fees for Zelle (which is weird but whatever), so I paid cash. Anyhow. I would definitely recommend them. read more

Professional, accommodating, punctual, polite, and worth the service. They moved things from the third floor onto the second floor in the time given! Nothing was broken in the process and we really appreciate it. Highly recommend because you get your money's worth. read more

Efficient and friendly! Arrived on time & had great communication. Thank you for the help with the move!

I called the day before needing help moving my mom into a senior living community, and they made it work! I was so impressed by their experience, professionalism, and kindness. Thank you for taking the time to respond and clarify your policies. However, I believe there are still important details that need to be addressed because my experience was materially different from what your response describes. I understand that your team assesses the move upon arrival and provides an estimate of how long the entire job may take. That is not my concern. I specifically communicated before booking that I wanted only two hours of service, and you confirmed in writing that this was perfectly fine. My expectation was therefore based on the $135/hour rate for two movers and a truck, or $270 for two hours. The issue is what happened during those two hours. I specifically asked the main mover, who I now understand from your response was your "crew supervisor," whether we could prioritize loading the furniture first and place the totes and boxes on the truck afterward. My reasoning was simple: since I was only paying for two hours, I wanted to make sure the heavier and larger furniture was loaded first so that it had the best chance of making it onto the truck. He refused and told me that he was going to load the boxes and totes first because they were easier and that if there was enough time and room, he would then load the larger furniture. As a result, the two hours were spent loading boxes and totes, and the furniture did not make it onto the truck. This is particularly concerning given your explanation that the crew supervisor was there to oversee the job and provide support. If the customer has specifically limited the service to two hours and is asking that the larger, more difficult items be prioritized, I would expect the crew supervisor to take that request into consideration rather than make the decision to load the easier items first. There is another important issue I want to clarify. During the move, your so-called crew supervisor spoke to the other movers in Spanish and told them that I did not want to pay for three movers and that they should take their time. I want to be very clear about this: I am fluent in Spanish and understood exactly what was being said. I also understood the conversation when the supervisor communicated with your company by phone. Therefore, your explanation that the employees were simply speaking Spanish because it is their first language does not address my concern. My concern was not that they were speaking Spanish. My concern was what was being said about me and how the crew was instructed to approach my move. If your crew supervisor was telling the movers to "take their time" because I did not want to pay for three movers, that is very different from the explanation in your response that his role was simply to oversee the job and provide support. I also want to reiterate that I never requested three movers. I requested and confirmed two movers for two hours. If a supervisor was going to accompany the crew, that should have been clearly communicated to me beforehand, particularly when the presence of that person could affect how the crew approached the work. I appreciate your response, but I believe these additional facts should be considered before characterizing the situation as simply a misunderstanding regarding your standard process. read more

We hired Mover Labor to move our 4 bedrooms home and we had a lot of stuff and big items. The process was so smooth, we contacted the company a month ahead the move, and we were able to secure the time and date. On the moving date, the guys come with a long truck, but only 3 people, I was wondering if they were able to move all of the stuff. I was wrong, they were so quick and professional, they walked about the house, observed, and made the plan. They wrapped all the fragile stuff and moved all the bed frames. They were very professional and nice. I cannot recommend any other services except for them. If you need movers, call them! read more

Very efficient, fast, they took no breaks. I had a one bed condo & moved to a 2 story 3 bed house. I had about 10 pieces of big furniture. All my pieces were put back just the way they were found. Price was great. I will definitely be hiring them again. read more

They did a great job. Took extra time and care with fragile items and even set beds up.

They were fast, friendly, respectful, and cost-effective. They moved my items carefully, and checked with me to ensure items were placed as I wanted them. Best of all, they didn't nickle and dime me for every little thing. The quote I was given is what I was charged, and the price was very fair. I'm very pleased with their service. read more

Mover Labor - Perfectly maneuvered storage boxes! - Movers Near Me

Santiago, Andres and Julian are literally THE BEST! Moving is stressful for everyone and I was so nervous- wasn't sure if our things would fit in the truck, if the stairs at the new place would be too much, if my dishes would be broken...you name it and I was worried about it! The team put all my fears to rest when they showed up. They were so kind and reassuring. Their pricing was fair, they were SO fast and communication was perfect. No surprises! Bonus- they came all the way back to the house to put our desk together- no charge! Skip the big companies and go with Mover Labor! read more

I hired these movers last week They showed up w 3 movers instead of 2 - which was fine - but they then started instantly harassing me with the main guy insisting that I pay him $600 - RIGHT THEN - when they had JUST ARRIVED - & had not even looked at the storage unit they would be loading & unloading! he had his little credit card machine ready - standing there & expecting full payment BEFORE they touched anything or moved anything!!! I stated that this is the FIRST time a mover I am hiring has insisted I pay them BEFORE they move or touch a single thing - he said "that's how it works with all of my customers" he said "you don't wanna pay?" then he turned around and got in his truck w the other 2 guys - DOING NOTHING - AND LEAVING ME WITHOUT MOVERS!!! I CANNOT even believe that this company did this to me I am sure there are others being scammed like this because if I DID give him $600 before they even lifted a finger and did nothing - I would be out $600 and would be fighting to get my money back!!! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED !!! HEED THIS WARNING & FIND OTHER MOVERS!!! read more

Professional. Clean. Organized. Competitively and fairly priced. I originally hired a different company that had to come back a second time after forgetting things that were requested to be packed and moved. Even after the second time, these items were still forgotten so I decided to try a new company and I am very happy that I did! I had a two-man team come help move the remaining items that the other company left behind. They were extremely quick, handled all my items with cleanliness and care, and had a very efficient system that I felt the other company did not do well at. All that was left were items that my husband and I were originally going to move out ourselves, but we realized we were not going to be able to do it on our own in time so we called again and they were able to accommodate and come back the next day! Not only do they offer moving services, but they helped with junk removal and handyman services. I will be calling back very soon to hire for other labor jobs and will be returning as a customer when I move again! Thank you! read more

Contacted Santiago a few months in advance to plan for a move out/in date he was very quick to reply. He told me to stay rest assured that he'd take care of me. Move in day came him & his son moved everything out so quickly & charged me upfront for 2 hours. (They were pretty spot on as they had finished right over 1.5 hour) Pricing was definitely the most reasonable in the market as some other companies I've contacted charge for everything (gas, mileage, travel fee, minimum fee, labor fee, tools fee, etc.) only small fee Mover Labor added was a (tax of $20) + the hourly rate. Out of all my items transported only 1 items was left damaged. Overall I can say I was impressed by their tenacious attitude, I will definitely recommend their services to others & look forward to using them again for my next move!
