We had a typical move out; sweep, mop, bathrooms, kitchen...inside cabinets, baseboards and fridge are additional costs?!?! Isn't that a full move out cleaning service? It took double the time and we had an internet setup appt to run to at 4pm and she still wasn't finished (She started at 10am...6hrs). We were quoted 4-5hrs...it took 8! We ended up missing our appt and had to miss another day of work. Naomi mentioned "They never give us enough time based off estimates." We did a time check twice to see how much longer. In the future, I think it needs to be clearly communicated exactly how much longer and people can adjust their schedules.

I got a rushed wipe-down and had to re-clean the apartment myself that night. Here is what they left behind, all documented in the photos I sent them on May 9: 1. Drawers: crumbs and dirt inside 2. Cabinets: dirty 3. Trash can: outside half-wiped, inside still dirty 4. Backsplash at sink and above stove: greasy film 5. All 4 corners of the kitchen sink: food residue 6. Window sills and knobs: thick dust 7. Mirror: full palm print left untouched 8. Side of kitchen island: food residue 9. Sink faucet: grimy 10. Ceiling fan blades: coated in dust 11. Floor molding: dusty When I emailed with photos, owner "Chris" replied five days later claiming his team "asked for your input several times" and I gave "positive responses." That is false. The timeline: crew arrived 8:00, I left at 8:30. I returned at 11:15, they were packed up and out by 11:30. There was no walkthrough, no "several times". When I got home I immediately told them they missed spots, they were already walking out the door and had to unpack to clean. Their excuse in the email was that the unit "was in a much more difficult state than anticipated" and there are "physical limits." This was a vacant, standard 2-bed condo, not a hoarder house. Moving a couch and wiping a sink corner is not a physical limit, it is basic cleaning. I wanted to use them biweekly. After this, I wouldn't let them back in with a free offer. Save your money. We just needed a deep cleaning for a move-out including appliances and cabinets. Realtors and buyers had come through the apartment for showings. No one had remarked on the cleanliness of the place as a major issue. Even new kitchen counters had been recently installed, so we weren't expecting major issues other than a good scrubbing of appliances. Thinking everything was fine especially for a smaller space. I left the apartment for 2+ hours - hoping to come back to a clean place. Unfortunately, I couldn't discern a noticeable difference in cleanliness of the kitchen. I ask the cleaner what's been cleaned in the last three hours - opening cabinets and pointing to the dust. After three hours, I just asked for the cleaner to leave. Gia's explanation was that the apartment was "pretty dirty and not brand new so it's just difficult to get rid of everything for the first time cleaning". I couldn't see though that much had been cleaned. Even the brand new counters looked dirtier than before. I ended up just wiping down the counters and picking up a broom - sweeping to see that there was still dust on the floor. The cabinets still unopened and items hadn't even shifted. The appliances had visible crumbs and dirt streaks/smudges. Definitely disappointed after shelling out $160 even after asking them to leave. It was more of a hassle to deal with scheduling the cleaner, leaving the apartment / picking up cash, and still to clean the apartment. After they left, neither myself or husband could tell what was cleaned. I'm just going to have to go through the expense of hiring another cleaner.
