Tanya came to help with a move out clean with two days notice. She was amazing and my place was so clean I had to face facts about how gd dirty I am normally. She was in the kitchen for a very long time because...I had no idea how dirty it was. The counters feel totally different, the chrome all over the apartment could meet royalty with pride. She was fast and did things to my bathtub I didn't think were humanly possible. What a pro. She was late so I almost had a heart attack, but what she did in 3.5 hours fully blew my mind. Thank you Gia! read more

I've used cleaners for Airbnbs and rental properties. I thought it was a simple ask especially for a 1 bedroom / 1 bath apartment. We just needed a deep cleaning for a move-out including appliances and cabinets. Realtors and buyers had come through the apartment for showings. No one had remarked on the cleanliness of the place as a major issue. Even new kitchen counters had been recently installed, so we weren't expecting major issues other than a good scrubbing of appliances. Thinking everything was fine especially for a smaller space. I left the apartment for 2+ hours - hoping to come back to a clean place. Unfortunately, I couldn't discern a noticeable difference in cleanliness of the kitchen. I ask the cleaner what's been cleaned in the last three hours - opening cabinets and pointing to the dust. After three hours, I just asked for the cleaner to leave. Gia's explanation was that the apartment was "pretty dirty and not brand new so it's just difficult to get rid of everything for the first time cleaning". I couldn't see though that much had been cleaned. Even the brand new counters looked dirtier than before. I ended up just wiping down the counters and picking up a broom - sweeping to see that there was still dust on the floor. The cabinets still unopened and items hadn't even shifted. The appliances had visible crumbs and dirt streaks/smudges. Definitely disappointed after shelling out $160 even after asking them to leave. It was more of a hassle to deal with scheduling the cleaner, leaving the apartment / picking up cash, and still to clean the apartment. After they left, neither myself or husband could tell what was cleaned. I'm just going to have to go through the expense of hiring another cleaner. read more

I used Gia's cleaning for the first time today and it was a great experience. They arrived on time, cleaned well, and were efficient! The cleaner may have limited English fluency but this is not an issue given the hard work they put into the cleaning. I will definitely be using Gia's again! read more

I'm using Gia's for a couple of years and also recommend them to my family and friends. Always very efficient and helpful. Doing high quality job in Chicago area. Very easy to schedule on short notice via text message or call. Ladies are always on time, very neat and thorough read more

I have been using Gia's for around 6 years or so. I have stuck with them for several reasons. 1) They are affordable. And if you provide your own supplies, there is a discount! 2) They are fast and thorough - I was always pleased with the job they did. 3) Reliable - on time, efficient, and consistent cleanings. Their people are professional and pleasant, and they do good work for a good price! read more

Excellent company! Best pricing in the city yet the quality of the work is superb! Highly recommend.!

I don't know if I have I've ever left a negative review before but I was really disappointed with the service I received. The first two times were great - thorough cleaning etc, but subsequent 2-3 cleanings left a lot to be desired. First, Gia does not communicate well at all via text. I often don't receive responses to my questions or requests. When the women arrive, rather than call me via phone or intercom, Gia will text me to let them in. Not a big deal but sometimes I'm in the middle of a meeting (particularly when they don't arrive on time) and don't see the text. Today the cleaning woman sat outside for 15 min until I saw Gia's single text. Just poor communication. Most recently, cleaning woman came in with her outdoor shoes on and started to clean bathroom and kitchen with her shoes on. Weird, but not a huge deal, I asked her to take them off. I asked at the very beginning for 3 hours of cleaning; she agreed and I guess she passed this message along to Gia because later on, Gia texted me and asked me to have her clean for 4 hours. I said no, I am busy and did not agree to that. At 3 hours, I asked the woman if I could pay her and she insisted I pay her for 4 hours. I had to call Gia and insist that I would only pay for 3 hours. Within 3 hours, she cleaned two bathrooms and the kitchen, the latter of which was pretty clean to begin with. Similar thing last time. It absolutely should not take that long and the woman (who was young) was moving quite slow. Didn't even mop floor in kitchen. Communication with the women is difficult because they don't speak English. They do things I don't ask them to do and fail to clean things I want them to clean. I've tipped generously in the past and honestly feel my kindness has been taken advantage of. Really disappointing experience. read more

I have had Gia's Cleaning service a couple of times now and I am very impressed. The cleaners are nice and take time to clean everything. The price is good for the city and quality is 10/10. I would definitely recommend them! read more

Highly recommend. Great customer service, very responsive, easy to communication and scheduling in short notice. Very helpful and always on time. Doing thorough and quality job read more

Gia is very friendly. Doesn't answer the phone but will text you back within 24 hours. She has cleaners that are good at their job, and she has dead weight that is hurting her business. I have used her services twice with opposite results. The first time was great, but the second (and last) time was not so hot so. The cleaning ladies will either have a thick accent or can only speak (assuming) polish. If you decide give them a chance, I recommend you supervise the entire time - not because of theft (that was never a concern), but due to slowness or inefficient use of time. $30 per person, two-woman crew and they'll drag it out to five hours (regardless of how much or little there is to do). read more

Here is my overview of Gia's cleaning services: -prompt arrival and dismissal of cleaning lady. -4 hour cleaning minimum is required. -small language barrier with women who came to clean home. -thorough cleaning of desired places in the home. -great price and even a discount if supplies are provided by the homeowner. - great communication from the owner and will with with your schedule to find a time that works for you. *Enjoyed services and will definitely use in the future! read more

The best! They have done our weekly cleans in Chicago. And a move out clean. Excellent communication. Ruslana is our favorite!!!

We have had great experiences with Gia's service, and with Svetlana in particular. We still don't know what she did to get our glass stovetop so clean! read more

This is an excellent cleaning service with high quality and value for the money. Plan to use them on a regular basis.

Gia's service was great. Her ladies had to wait 45 mins for me and she didn't complain at all. They were very thorough, delivered a great service, and I would definitely recommend using them again. Thanks! read more

Amazing cleaning service! And I am very particular. All of the people that have come to clean have done a great job. They make sure EVERY surface is clean and that is no easy feat for us since we have pets. Today they even took the trash out!! read more

I've been using Gia's Cleaning Services for about four years now and have referred them to many friends; it's the best cleaning service I've ever used! Very affordable and no hidden fees (unlike services like Handy), always on time and professional. Not to mention they leave my place spotless every time. Also, Gia checks in regularly on scheduling cleaning, which is very helpful and reminds me to get appointments scheduled. A++++ best cleaners!! read more

I have used Gia's to clean my office on a 2-week schedule for several months and now they clean my loft every two weeks. A bit on the pricey side but overall happy with their service and you can communicate almost entirely by text which is good for me. For anyone who says "they were rude" should consider that they are from a different country - Russia I believe, so the culture and communication are different. If you can not expect them to behave like Americans and let the culture just be different, it shouldn't be disappointing. Have you ever tried to get an East German person living in the US to be warm and fuzzy? It is not going to happen. Tim read more

Found Gia's here on Yelp about a year ago and they're terrific. Very easy to schedule and communicate with (via text, easy for everyone) and pay via Chase QuickPay. We generally have the same person come clean, and they're always receptive to our input or feedback. I think the price is fair - usually $99 for our two bedroom apartment (based on time spent). We've never had an issue and even my very picky husband thinks they do a great job. Enthusiastically recommend! read more

After 4 years of living in this neighborhood we finally found a trusted cleaning service. For our first cleaning a few months ago we had Jolita and she did an amazing job. We had a lot of post-construction dust and she took care of all of it. For our second cleaning today I asked for Jolita again and once again she was so thorough and detailed. She did an amazing job and the house smells so fresh and clean! read more

Absolutely incredible! Quick response to schedule, fantastic cleaning job and super affordable! Can't say enough great things about Gia's Cleaning Services. read more

I was in a jam and needed my house cleaned for a party we were hosting last wknd, I started searching for cleaning services on Yelp. I called a bunch of them and neither anybody was available or they were booked. I called Gia and she text me back in 20 minutes asking me what I needed. I told her I had a single family home, needed floors, kitchen, bathrooms done. She luckily had someone available and told me they would be there first thing in the morning. The cleaning person arrived promptly at 8am, we told her exactly what we needed done. She was so nice and personable and did an amazing job top to bottom by noon. I felt she was trustworthy too, which is important when someone new is in your house. I came home from work and the house looked spotless and smelled amazing. I would DEFINITELY recommend her services and will be using her again!! read more

Good service, when they make mistakes they correct them. Gia made sure things were corrected quickly when I had a problem..

We've been using Gia's for more than a year and after trying a lot of places, this was BY FAR the best and most reliable. The lady who does our place always does a great job and shows up on time. I'd definitely recommend them. read more

The best cleaning service out there!!! Julia did an amazing job and went above and beyond cleaning our 2 bedroom apartment. She cleaned everything we asked and more. She took her time yet completed so much in just a few hours. Definitely having her or anyone in the company coming back in a few months! read more

Gia is so wonderful. The first time I had her come clean my apartment, it was 7:30am on a Sunday morning, so I was laying pathetically on my couch with make up smeared across my face as she and her crew expertly cleaned around me. Once they switched from the bedrooms to my living room, she kindly notified me that I could go lay in bed. I was almost moved to tears when I saw that my usual pig sty of a bedroom was now SPOTLESS. Despite my exhausted stupor, I noticed her cleaning with what I can only describe as a backpack vacuum. She does not half ass. She went through my fridge, took out my trash, put my clothes away, etc. This lady is legit. I'm more than happy to pay her what she charges. read more

We started using Gia's Cleaning Services a few months ago after we learned that the service we had used for thirteen years had been stealing from us. We are so happy with Gia and we love the option to have Gia's ladies bring their own cleaning supplies. In addition to cleaning the house, they do the laundry and change the sheets. They are terrific! read more

As a child I grew up with awesome cleaning ladies, I thought they could not be duplicated. But, Gia's cleaning ladies (specifically Oskana) are fabulous. Gia is very responsive; you can text her at anytime of day and she'll text you back immediately. Gia's pricing is extremely reasonable ($20/hour). They can make a 1,500 sq. ft. place spotless in 4 hours! Tip: You do need to provide your own supplies, which I do not mind because I like to know what chemical cleaning products are being used in my home. read more

Just moved into our new house, with 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bedrooms, we wanted everything to be sparking before we moved in. I searched all over for a top rated cleaning service, and I saw Gia's on Yelp. Gia's did not disappoint! Three girls came (Brought their own supplies) and cleaned for 6 hours.. By the time it was done everything was spotless, even the little nooks and crannies and the windows that were so hard to reach! $27 per hour per girl - pretty reasonable for a deep cleaning service and they did amazing work! My boyfriend and I are very pleased. Every girl was very pleasant and friendly and listened to our concerns and questions. They also provided info on what to use for particular rooms and floors for the future. Very helpful and knowledgable! I was so impressed and we will certainly use Gia's again! Highly recommend!! read more

Gia's crew is amazing, I have only had two cleanings but both were superb. The only thing I will say is that they are very detail oriented so a full cleaning is rather time consuming so make sure you are not short on time. Price wise they are pretty comparable to other services but skill level is far above. Very happy and money well spent! read more

Nice find if you are in Chicagoland. The services are timely and rightly priced. The staff is professional, trustworthy and do high quality work. I went on a bi-weekly service after using them a few times. Highly recommend Gia and her team. read more

Love my cleaning lady! She gets every book and cranny and is so reasonable. I do all communication via text and am not home when she cleans. She lets herself in and out and is totally trustworthy read more

DO NOT HIRE! Overpriced, rude (both things I could over look, IF THEY DID A GOOD JOB.) They did not. I requested a deep clean. I barely got a shallow one. They sent me a list of cleaning supplies they would need. Since I didn't have everything on the list I said they could use their supplies. They definitely didn't bring all the supplies or use them. I asked that the inside of the appliances and cabinets be done. They were not. I just looked under my coffee table. There are toys underneath and they didn't vacuum underneath the coffee table. Its not a huge table. My 2 year old can move it. There are also still dishes in my sink. Two women just spent 4.5 hours in my home for a cleaning that could have taken one person an hour. I do not recommend this service. They spoke to me very disrespectfully the entire time they were in my home, but again I don't mind a surly attitude if they do their job well. They did not. As I walk through my home I keep finding things that were not done and its actually making me angrier as I type this. Save yourself the trouble and get anyone else to clean your home. read more

I called Gia's Cleaning Services on a Sunday to schedule a last minute cleaning service for my condo. I left a message and Gia returned my called quickly. She was able to send a cleaning crew the very next day! The $35 an hour cost included cleaning supplies. They did a great job cleaning some pretty dirty appliances and bathrooms. Gia's is fair and honest. I left cash for crew and they only took what they worked for and left the extra $40. A digital receipt was sent to me the next day. Great cleaning service! read more

The first time I had a cleaning lady come, she was good. This second time was very disappointing. She spent half the time cleaning my kitchen (which is only a small part of my apartment) and then barely vacuumed or dusted. She seemed to focus on the wrong, less important things -- cleaning the walls of my shower rather than dusting everything. I tried to explain what I wanted, but she didn't understand English. I would not otherwise have a problem with that, but that meant I was unable to actually communicate what cleaning I wanted to be done. So she mopped my wood floors, even though I said multiple times not to do that, yet didn't vacuum behind the couch or bed or anything. I will not be using Gia's Cleaning again because the service is inconsistent and not worth the price. I also just called the company to complain and they were very defensive. read more

Gia came recommended to me by a friend who used her when she lived in the city, and she didn't disappoint! It was easy to communicate with Gia through text message which I appreciate because it's faster and more convenient than a phone call. I had a date and time in mind and she had availability which worked out perfectly. You can choose to have them use your supplies or have them bring supplies for an additional fee. We had enough stuff here, so we had them use ours. Lilly and Nadia arrived promptly at 8am and took 4 hours to clean our 3-story house which is what I expected based on Gia's estimate. They were meticulous! It looks like adults live here again! I plan to continue with Gia's service once a month. I highly recommend Gia! read more
