Just be aware when booking after getting a quote and scheduling a time they will ask for a non-refundable deposit on a form from some payment processor you've never heard of. Had a straightforward job for a move-out clean that needed to be done. I'm less than a week out and now trying to find someone else to do it while I'm back home. I've never had cleaners ask for a deposit before. Was hoping to leave a glowing review with before and after photos to help grow their Yelp like I do with other vendors but now am stuck finding another cleaner. Can't speak to the quality of their work but if you're worried about paying money up front when many vendors are late or no-show not a company for you. I'm always happy to pay when people show up. Screenshot posted (since they can't) nothing is mentioned about a deposit being needed to book when they responded to my request 10/30. I've been debating whether to write this review for a week, because here's the thing: Jacob is a good communicator and a professional that I commend for (apparently) starting a business and doing the hard work himself. That said, I have been feeling very dissatisfied with the hire as I've continued to dwell on the job he did at my condo. I hired Purific for a deep cleaning after seeing nothing but positive reviews and a professional website. Maybe a lack of experience (all reviews recent), but nothing to deter me. His quote was also the lowest, which aligned with what I was looking for given that I keep my place organized and pretty clean in general. I also planned to tip well (which I did regardless). The areas I asked Jacob to address were the shower, the bathroom in general, the floors, the oven and to dust in the bedroom and living room. He did a good job in the shower and cleaned the toilet and sinks (which I already keep clean). The kitchen sink and microwave also looked nice, but again nothing I couldn't easily do. Everything outside of that I would say I was unhappy with. Specifically, the floors in both the bathroom and kitchen were both still *visibly* dirty. That is, there was a big dirty water spot from a wet towel I'd hung on my bathroom door where the water had dripped onto the floor (weeks ago after my HVAC unit was leaking). This indicated to me the floor had not been cleaned. Jacob let me know he didn't see the spot because it was dark in that area but he then sprayed it and wiped it up. So then I go into the kitchen, dampen a paper towel and wipe it on the floor. A layer of dirt on the paper towel. He insists he has cleaned the floors telling me "I use a dry mop...that dirt is just like caked on." I'm thinking well yeah, Jacob...that's why I'm paying you to uncake it! I say "Yeah, well that's why I'm getting a deep clean." He says "That's really more of a 'deep clean plus.' We'd want to get a steamer for that." Haha ok. He offers to show me his mop. I decline. He can tell I'm unpleased and gets back on the floor to spray and wipe. I appreciate the effort, but again I'd rather have just had a wet mop and an actual deep clean. Not someone on their hands and knees with a spray bottle doing a spot clean. I check the oven. One of the main reasons I hired a deep clean. There was this spot caked and I'd wanted someone to clean it. It's still there. He again tells me "that's just like caked on." After he left I used a paint scraper to peel it and clean it myself. Outside of the bathroom and kitchen he dusted (using a feather duster) and vacuumed. I vacuum typically once a week, so again nothing I couldn't/wouldn't do. The feather duster seemed to just push the dust around and none of the furniture was wiped clean or polished. The window ledges still had water rings from glasses. The wood coffee table was not polished. After he left, I'm thinking to myself "did I get what I paid ($200) for?" How did that take 5 hours for him to do? What *did* he actually do during all of that time? I wanted a cleaning company to take my place from being organized and like 80% clean to being 100% clean. I felt like that $200 got me to 90% and it was up to me to take it the rest of the way. After 1 week, my condo is in virtually the exact same condition it was before I hired Purific. And to me, that's not what a deep clean is meant for. read more

This was the first time I've used a deep cleaning service for my home. I also requested fridge & oven cleaning. The ladies arrived on time and did a great job cleaning. It took them about 3 hours for a 1400 sq ft home with two floors (3 bed & 2 bath). They don't speak much English, so we used a translator app to communicate. They are reasonably priced. They bring their own supplies. After they finished, I did make a request to vacuum the sofas & wipe down the windows so be sure to point out everything before they start to avoid any confusion. We have used Purific several times now and have been extremely pleased with the results. The providers are so friendly! They usually speak limited English but are adept at Google translate in case there are special instructions. For example, we wanted them to know that cleaning around our holiday decorations/trinkets was not wanted, and they absolutely understood once we put that into the Google translator. The house gleams when they have been here. The cleaning products they use have a very mild, pleasant scent. We work from home and have been here the entire time, and they are happy to work around us. I am very impressed by Purific cleaning solutions. We have used most of the top rated cleaning companies in Chicago and pretty much all of them do average (read: mediocre) work. Purific cleaning solutions was not like most cleaning companies. They were extremely thorough: dusting baseboards, cleaning underneath of furniture, wiping light fixtures, etc. They did not cut corners. It feels cleaner in my home than it did after our move-in clean (and that was substantially more expensive). Jacob was also very responsive and flexible on payment options. And they showed up on time! It annoys me when cleaners show up super early - don't they know that that you have to frantically pick up clutter before the cleaners arrive?
