Isaiah and his team painted my condo on short notice and completed everything just in time for my move-in date. They worked 10+ hour days to make sure the project was finished on schedule, and their dedication really showed. I was very impressed with their attention to detail, professionalism, and the quality of their work. The finished product exceeded my expectations, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. I would definitely recommend Isaiah and his team to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality painters. read more

Isaiah and his crew did an amazing job painting nearly all of our 3500 sq ft home in 5 days. Paint is smooth and consistent, price was very reasonable. Isaiah and other team member we interacted with were responsive and willing to address any issues/questions. Would definitely hire again. read more

If every contractor could be half as good as Isaiah and his team, the world of home renovation would be so much easier! I had Isaiah's team complete exterior painting and interior painting for two homes and not only was he extremely responsive, his work was reasonably price, he was always on time and his crew was very professional. If you are considering painting your home, no look further, you've found the right company! read more

Short version: Isaiah did GREAT work at a fair price and we are already planning to hire him again in the spring to do some exterior work. Don't spend a lot of time comparing options (like i did). He's the right one - the referral i got was spot on... Photos are from one room (the last one they did) ___The Choice___ After nearly 15 years in our home, we decided it was time to freshen up the interior with a full paint job. I looked around for a few people and got two providers to come in for a quote. Isaiah came recommended from a freind that did a full gut rehab and had a great experience with him. The other was a reco from the house next door after they had a full interior paint job. Isaiah's pricing was much better and more transparent. He actually included one page for each of the 3 floors, with specific details of the work to be done in each area and the price for that room/section. His price was also better than our other option by a meaningful amount. It wasn't cheap, but the proposal was so detailed, I felt like it made sense. It was also easy because he is a responsive communicator and seemed to be "on top of things" when we exchagned notes. __Scheduling__ We gave him a small deposit (20% or so) and decided that we wanted to wait 2 months before beginning work (trips and guests). He put us on the calendar, but life happened. About 2 weeks out, we needed to push back 2 more weeks. He flipped a few jobs and accomodated us - which he didn't need to do. It was a HUGE blessing to us. ___The Work___ We expected it to be a 2 week job, but it took 16 working days (3 weeks + a final saturday) to do the work. The went floor by floor, essentially 1 week at a time. We have a lot of space and needed a fair amount of repair work from water damage and sub-par previous patchwork. We also had a lot of trim to re-paint. Plus, it was our fault: He worked with us on all of that and a few odds & ends that we asked for after he started. It raised the price, but was more than fair and probably screwed up his schedule by a day or two. They were good at the start time every day, which helped (plus or minus 20mins). They wrapped each day at a good time for us too. They also worked clean and covered everything on the floors they were working (the repairs created a LOT of dust). It was typically 2 guys, sometimes 3. Most floors were color matched, with a few changes. ___The results___ We are VERY VERY VERY satisfied with the work Isaiah and his team did in the house. The work was crispy and they were quick to address any last minute quality issues we saw as we inspeted every rooms (lots of them). The repair work was flawless and we're finally back in a "new" looking house. I can't recommend the Isaiah enough. read more

Isaiah did a great job! He was the quickest business to get me a quote and had availability to come out the next day. He and 1 other person painted two rooms in 4 hours- very quick! Edited to 4 stars as I found a lot of paint splatters on the toilet, baseboards, etc. Still good work but more cleanup for me to chip it all off. read more

Isaiah and his team are consummate pros that have really high standards for quality. They also set the bar when it comes to communication and are overall just good people who are a pleasure to work with. He and his crew painted our whole home (walls, ceilings, trim, stairs) and also crunched through a handyman punchlist we had for an incredibly fair price. It's hard to overstate how happy we are with the outcome. We felt very taken care of throughout the whole process, from the initial quote all the way to the final walk-through. I would highly recommend them and would leverage their services again when we have a need. read more

I honestly can't say enough good things about this team. From the very beginning, Isaiah and his guys have been one of the most professional and genuinely positive people I've ever worked. Always on time, super reliable, and somehow always finds a way to make things happen even on my tight timelines. We've been working with him since October 2025 and the quality and experience have been 100%. His team painted our entire 2,200 sqft apartment, including doors, caulking, sanding, and painting the trim so everything looks clean and perfect. I've had them back to help with more projects since then... drywall, installing blinds... seriously, what can't they do?! The crew is just the best. Truly kind, trustworthy people who were such a joy to have in our home. read more

*2025 update* Not only did Isiah's Painting make my 11 new doors look FLAWLESS, I had him paint my Mom's ENTIRE house too. His cut lines are so straight and perfect that my home feels like a work of art. I don't even want to put pictures on my walls- the WALLS are the artwork. I've even changed my accent walls numerous times because having Isiah in the house is so comforting and peaceful knowing that a true Master of the trade is working on my beloved home. I'll attach pictures from my house and my Mom's house to show you what I mean. Not only is he the best at what he does, he is genuinely a good, honest person who you can trust in your home. read more

Isaiah and team recently did an excellent job repainting our kitchen/family room, entryway, and hallway. They were professional and thorough, spending a lot of time on prep work and smoothing the walls. They were even able to help with unexpected repairs when we had a minor ceiling leak the day before painting and a bit of ceiling damage in another room from some electrical work. They provided good value for their service and we will certainly use them again in future painting projects. read more

Isaiah and his guys did such an amazing job in such a quick timeframe for our new house in Irving park! They worked 10 hour days for 7+ days straight and every single detail was covered in the work they did - ceilings, trim, paint, etc. Isaiah is also such a lovely person and you can tell that he puts his heart and soul into the work he does. 25 gallons of paint later (Behr Swiss Coffee!!), they finished painting our 3000 sqft home and even performed a couple of other services for us - replaced some bad drywall in the basement for us and offered easy electrical services for us as well. He is highly communicative and provides detailed explanations for his pricing and services he is performing. He is trustworthy in your home and makes sure that you are informed of each step of the process. He also knew that we are getting new flooring and that the shoe molding would need to be painted and wood-filled, and made a plan in advance for completing this after the floors are done. Overall - Isaiah is a stand up guy and does an amazing job, and he works with great guys to ensure you have the best service. read more

Hands down the most professional painting company I've worked with in Chicago. Isaiah's Painting is the only company you need. Isaiah and his crew are extremely skilled and knowledgeable and clearly take a lot of pride in their work. Pricing was extremely reasonable and the quality was top tier. They painted a full apartment unit including four rooms, one bathroom and the kitchen and everything came out immaculate. They went above and beyond by catching and fixing touch ups I had overlooked, replaced drywall in certain areas and even touched up cabinets beautifully. On top of that Isaiah's communication skills are next level. He's extremely prompt with messages and very easy to work with. The crew was friendly hardworking and respectful and they cleaned up thoroughly after the job. Highly recommend these guys. read more

We hired Isaiah and his team to paint our house to get it ready to sell. We lived there for 12 years and it was kind of a mess. Isaiah and his team did a great job painting the walls, doors, ceilings, and trim, and was sure to itemize everything when providing a quote so I could make the best decision that fit within my budget. We're so glad we hired Isaiah's Painting! Within a week of us scheduling, the team got the job done quickly, professionally and with great attention to detail. They went above and beyond in making sure the paint looked clean in all the corners and edges. In addition to painting our walls, we asked if they could tape and mud some newly installed drywall by our fireplace and they did a fantastic job. On top of being insured by Yelp, they offered a 3 month free touch up period in case any scuffs or issues occur during our move. Isaiah was super responsive and the services are reasonably priced. Isaiah and his team did a fabulous job on updating and fixing three main living areas of our home. The ceilings all had peeling paint due to age and old water damage from the previous owner. His team took care in scraping, plastering, and sanding to correct all flaws in all the rooms. Fantastic job in preserving and protecting our 100+ yr old cherry trim during the entire process. Great communication, prompt in arrival, and thorough in cleaning up after the job was done or end of day. I would highly recommend him for your painting or home project. Isaiah and his crew did a great job painting our 1200sf, 2 Bed, 2 Bath rental unit in Roscoe Village in only 3-1/2 days! They patched and painted all walls, trim, doors and closets. They also removed old wallpaper in one of the bathrooms and painted a TV entertainment stand. They did a very thorough job and left the job site clean afterwards. Isaiah was very polite and extremely communicative. He provided text updates everyday with photos and was very polite and respectful. He wasn't the cheapest bid but wasn't the highest either. I would definitely use him again for any future painting or drywall projects! read more

These guys were incredible. I work at a high school in Chicago and accepted multiple quotes prior to choosing Isaiah's Painting. Their pricing is competitive, but honestly it was the genuine enthusiasm and passion for his work that made me go with his company. He understood we wanted to create a place that our students could be proud of! He knows everyone who works with him, no contracting out. He and his men were prompt, clean, and communicated regularly with me. They worked on 6 classrooms, a meeting room, and two full school bathrooms - AND did all of this in seven days! Rooms needed new paint, but also patch work throughout. They worked on dry wall and tile, along with metal bathroom stalls. I cannot recommend enough and plan on using them in the future if/when the school needs any updates. Hire these guys - you won't regret it. read more

I've worked with Isaiah twice--once for a large scale job, and once for a smaller job. He and his crew work hard and they are fast, but you can tell that they care about doing a great job for clients. Isaiah is polite and considerate of client needs. We were In a tough position where we needed to paint an entire house on a short timeline with last minute access and a complicated paint plan. Isaiah took it all in stride and was happy to touch up the minor issues I saw during walkthrough, despite having worked a long and challenging day. I read in another review how touched a client was that Isaiah wanted to create a great environment for students at a school job. That doesn't surprise me at all. He showed care and concern about how we were feeling about the painting throughout our engagement, and he was rightfully proud of the beautiful results. read more

I originally asked Isaiah to paint one wall in my living room. But they also did some touchups for other places for free! They were also able to use the remaining paint for my bed closet so I don't need to spend money to purchase the paint again and they only charged a minimum labor fee. I'm very satisfied with the job done and I have asked them to come back to apply silicone to the bathroom-shower/tub/sink and kitchen counters. Those were getting done nicely. And today he came in to do the caulking and painting of the shoe base for the entire unit after the floor is done. Again, he did not fail me. The whole unit is refreshed. And Isaiah also offered his professional advice on the color and decor, which I learned a lot from him. I would say they are reliable to get the job done nicely and quickly for you. They are being very flexible!! The price is also very fair! Definitely will use them again and recommend them to friends for future modeling. read more
