Totally positive experience with Windy City Painters from start to finish. Kamil is a total professional and incredibly detail-oriented.

I had my bedroom ceiling repaired and painted due to a flood. Andy answered phone calls and emails quickly. It was easy to get a quote. Rafal was punctual, professional, and he did a great job fixing, matching paint color, and painting. He paid attention to the details, and everything looks great. I would definitely call Windy City Painters again. read more

We needed out pergola stained and we are so happy with how the project turned out! Good communication and prompt!

We recently worked with Windy City Painters, and Kamil was the painter who handled our deck project -- and he was fantastic. From the start, Kamil was extremely professional, friendly, and responsive. He power washed, replaced damaged boards, sanded, and painted our deck with great attention to detail. Throughout the project, Kamil kept everything clean and organized, showed up exactly when he said he would, and communicated clearly at every step. You could tell he really cared about doing the job right -- the deck looks absolutely amazing now. We had a great experience and would highly recommend Windy City Painters and Kamil to anyone looking for high-quality, reliable work! read more

Coming in again to report another fantastic job. We had water damage on our ceiling that needed to be repaired. Andy was very prompt to respond and get us scheduled for the repair. Oskar and his partner arrived on time and did a fantastic job. They are were also respectful of the rest of the house and left the space clean and tidy. Will continue to reach out to Andy and Windy City Painters for all our future painting needs. read more

Windy City Painters is incredible and I cannot recommend Andy and his team (our painters were Oskar and Artem) enough. Not only was the quality of the painting outstanding and the price very competitive, they went above and beyond in so many ways. Andy spent significant time with us walking through our place to provide recommendations on colors and options, even recommending not to paint certain things because it wouldn't be worth it. He recommended black for our fireplace and Oskar and team made it look fantastic. On top of that Oskar and Artem were extremely communicative and respectful of our home, and the most incredible part was Oskar fixed our water heater for us while he was there so we didn't have to have a plumber come! We couldn't be happier with our choice in Windy City Painters! read more

We contacted Andy from Windy City painters regarding painting the trim in one of our bedrooms and he responded promptly with a quote. We scheduled the job and then a day later had a leaking pipe that resulted in drywall damage in a downstairs bathroom as well as a hole in the drywall to be cut in that wall in the bathroom above it. I texted Andy and sent some pictures and he said no problem! They are also drywall repair experts. The next day Kamil arrived early (around 7:15 am) because my wife and I both had to go to work. I showed him the damage, the paint we had available (left over by the previous owners) as well as the trim we were hoping to get painted in the first place (black trim to be painted white). He told me that he was unsure if he could complete everything in one day because the trim would likely require 2-3 coats to cover the black. He worked extremely hard and called me that day around 5:30 pm to let me know he stayed later than usual to finish the job rather than having to come back another day (saving us an additional charge). When I arrived I couldn't believe that there was ever any drywall damage at all. He was able to completely repair and re-paint the drywall (sorting through the old paint cans to find the correct color) such that you'd never know we had work done. Furthermore, he did an amazing job on the trim and it looks beautiful! He even touched up areas on the ceiling that had been damaged and needed a little touch up- things he noticed that I hadn't even asked for. He went the extra mile and we couldn't be happier. The price for the job was completely reasonable for all the work that was done. We already contacted Andy to have Kamil come back to do additional painting in our home. Highly recommend this company - you won't be disappointed! read more

They painted our metal porch. They did a great job, easy to schedule, arrived on time and the quality of service was top notch. Our neighbor had them paint their porch last year and it still looks brand new almost a year later. I believe they are a great value for the price. read more

Andy & Kamil were outstanding! This was my second time using Windy CIty Painters and they did not disappoint. The first time they painted our office & bathroom and the painting was exceptional, quick and still looks beautiful a couple years later. This project we had our entire basement painted a bolder blue/green. Their professionalism, timeliness, and proactive communication made the entire process seamless and enjoyable. And the end result is a perfectly, beautifully painted basement! I cannot recommend them enough. We have multiple projects we'll be working through and plan to use Windy City Painters when the time comes! read more

Lets cut to the chase - Stop looking and reach out to Andy and Windy Painters Chicago. Andy is professional, courteous, and cost-competitive. More importantly, the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Camilo did for the repair was impeccable - Let the before/after photo do the talking here! We had a leak that appeared on the kitchen ceiling from the bathroom above. It couldn't have been in a more trafficked and visible spot. Watching the plumber investigate the issue via a hole in our kitchen ceiling was just the start of my anxiety. I knew it had to be done, my anxiety was on the repair and what it would look like after. I have seen some really poor patch jobs that stick out like a sore thumb. As typical (see my past reviews), I received several quotes after meeting with contractors (all from yelp) for several days. A few of them (through yelp reviews/pictures and on-site presence) seemed like good choices. However, Windy Painters Chicago was able to confidently assure me that everything was going to be all right -- and they delivered. Not only from timely work and a competitive quote but from craftsmanship that can only be compared to an artists care and focus. Camilo showed up, was polite and discussed his plan and options. When I came back a few hours later he was meticulously cleaning up and I could not believe my eyes. As you can see from the photo, he painstakingly blended the patch in. Even knowing where the damage area was, its very hard to tell that there was any work done or that there was a 2'x1' foot hole in the ceiling. Its unreal. I really can not express how ecstatic I am about the quality of the work and that I decided to move forward with Windy Painters Chicago. read more

Had Windy City Painters repaint our back deck and stairs. Andy responded quickly and came out to give us a competitive estimate. Oskar and his partner who did the work were polite and easy to work with. They were very thorough with their painting and it was obvious they have a great deal of experience. They even took down some vines on the side of our house that were in the way and left everything clean and orderly when they were done. Very happy with the results and would definitely use them again. read more

our timelines didn't match up so I didn't get a quote, but he recommended another painter and gave me a link to that guy's Yelp site. So that was nice of him. Lost a star because he's too busy to jump at my call, LOL, but I'm happy for anyone who has a backlog these days, it beats having no work lined up! Quality reviewers look happy! read more

Had a phenomenal experience with Windy City Painters and highly recommend. I was quoted a reasonable price by Andy (less than other quotes), and the painter, Kris, did an incredible job. I had a mix of plaster and drywall, with tons of damage to all of the walls and in tough rooms (kitchen around appliances and cabinets and very high ceilings in a stairwell) and it looks spectacular. Kris showed up on time exactly as promised, went above and beyond patching areas, and even finished the job quicker than expected. I'll be using Windy City again. read more

I recently used Windy City Painters to complete a two day paint job of my sunken living room and stairwells. The job required one painter (Kamil) who was very responsive and did a great job talking me through his work and communicating with me and my husband when he recommended an additional coat of paint on one of the stairwells. Kamil also did high quality work and we were very pleased with the result. Andy was great through the quoting process and was quick to respond to any of my questions. We found their pricing to be competitive based on other quotes received for the same job. read more

When the owner of the home above mine left the water running in his clogged sink for the better part of a day, the result was a disaster. A water mitigation crew cut out drywall, hauled away water-logged insulation, and hooked up blowers to dry my very wet ceiling. Then began the battle between the insurance companies--the upstairs homeowner's, the association's, and mine--about paying for repairs. The bright spot in all this was the excellent job done returning the ceiling to pristine condition. Oskar and his associate replaced insulation, patched enormous holes, and then expertly applied two coats of paint. When a crack reappeared, Oskar returned promptly to fix it. Throughout the process--from his initial proposal to providing references to scheduling the work--Andy was very easy to work with. read more

We've worked with Andy several times at both our previous condo and now our new house. Andy is the friendliest contractor I've ever met! He always shows up on time, is very honest in his assessment of the work, and always gives a great estimate with no surprise costs. This most recent time, we needed some ceiling drywall/frame repair with ceiling painting. Kamil was our painter. He was friendly and courteous, and most importantly, did an AMAZING job with our ceilings! They look brand new. He took great care to take down the window treatments in the rooms, too, and put them back up when he was finished. We have more work on the list that needs to be done, and we'll absolutely use Andy and Windy Painters Chicago every time! read more
