Windy City Painters is incredible and I cannot recommend Andy and his team (our painters were Oskar and Artem) enough. Not only was the quality of the painting outstanding and the price very competitive, they went above and beyond in so many ways. Andy spent significant time with us walking through our place to provide recommendations on colors and options, even recommending not to paint certain things because it wouldn't be worth it. He recommended black for our fireplace and Oskar and team made it look fantastic. On top of that Oskar and Artem were extremely communicative and respectful of our home, and the most incredible part was Oskar fixed our water heater for us while he was there so we didn't have to have a plumber come! We contacted Andy from Windy City painters regarding painting the trim in one of our bedrooms and he responded promptly with a quote. We scheduled the job and then a day later had a leaking pipe that resulted in drywall damage in a downstairs bathroom as well as a hole in the drywall to be cut in that wall in the bathroom above it. I texted Andy and sent some pictures and he said no problem! They are also drywall repair experts. The next day Kamil arrived early (around 7:15 am) because my wife and I both had to go to work. I showed him the damage, the paint we had available (left over by the previous owners) as well as the trim we were hoping to get painted in the first place (black trim to be painted white). He told me that he was unsure if he could complete everything in one day because the trim would likely require 2-3 coats to cover the black. He worked extremely hard and called me that day around 5:30 pm to let me know he stayed later than usual to finish the job rather than having to come back another day (saving us an additional charge). When I arrived I couldn't believe that there was ever any drywall damage at all. He was able to completely repair and re-paint the drywall (sorting through the old paint cans to find the correct color) such that you'd never know we had work done. Furthermore, he did an amazing job on the trim and it looks beautiful! He even touched up areas on the ceiling that had been damaged and needed a little touch up- things he noticed that I hadn't even asked for. He went the extra mile and we couldn't be happier. The price for the job was completely reasonable for all the work that was done. We already contacted Andy to have Kamil come back to do additional painting in our home. Highly recommend this company - you won't be disappointed! read more

These guys are awesome, We had to refresh an aluminum monument that had been damaged and repaired, the repair should couldn't paint it but Andy and his guys came through just in time. More importantly, the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Camilo did for the repair was impeccable - Let the before/after photo do the talking here! We had a leak that appeared on the kitchen ceiling from the bathroom above. It couldn't have been in a more trafficked and visible spot. Watching the plumber investigate the issue via a hole in our kitchen ceiling was just the start of my anxiety. I knew it had to be done, my anxiety was on the repair and what it would look like after. I have seen some really poor patch jobs that stick out like a sore thumb. As typical (see my past reviews), I received several quotes after meeting with contractors (all from yelp) for several days. A few of them (through yelp reviews/pictures and on-site presence) seemed like good choices. However, Windy Painters Chicago was able to confidently assure me that everything was going to be all right -- and they delivered. Not only from timely work and a competitive quote but from craftsmanship that can only be compared to an artists care and focus. Camilo showed up, was polite and discussed his plan and options. When I came back a few hours later he was meticulously cleaning up and I could not believe my eyes. As you can see from the photo, he painstakingly blended the patch in. Even knowing where the damage area was, its very hard to tell that there was any work done or that there was a 2'x1' foot hole in the ceiling. Its unreal. When the owner of the home above mine left the water running in his clogged sink for the better part of a day, the result was a disaster. A water mitigation crew cut out drywall, hauled away water-logged insulation, and hooked up blowers to dry my very wet ceiling. Then began the battle between the insurance companies--the upstairs homeowner's, the association's, and mine--about paying for repairs. The bright spot in all this was the excellent job done returning the ceiling to pristine condition. Oskar and his associate replaced insulation, patched enormous holes, and then expertly applied two coats of paint. When a crack reappeared, Oskar returned promptly to fix it.
