Connel and his company did excellent work adding wallpaper to a wall on Friday. He responded quickly to my inquiry after giving him a buzz and provided a fair quote. Eventually his son and another guy came to work the work in about an hour and 1/2 or so. See photos for the type of work they did. I hope I may have projects for Connel to do in the future! read more

Both of the Connells (father & son) we amazing. They were quick, efficient, professional and did a superb job laying the wallpaper I needed put up in my living room between windows. I am very happy I stumbled upon these two. Could not recommend them enough!! What I thought was gonna be a messy, all day long project turned out to be around 1.5 hours at best and it looks GREAT. I'll be passing the word along and using their services again in the near future for more projects. read more

Connel and his son wallpapered my office in September 2020. I was thrilled with how it turned out, and perhaps more importantly with how seriously they took COVID safety precautions. They both wore masks the whole time, which I really appreciated. We wore masks too if we were anywhere near them. They were extremely professional and kind. The work is gorgeous, and I want to have them come back to do more rooms!! read more

If I could give Connel & Connel 10 stars, I would. They did an amazing job wallpapering my sun/piano room, office and an accent wall behind a bar/TV. They showed up on time, gave me the rundown on paper & how it would be installed, etc. and got right to work. What would have taken me 3 weeks to complete, they were about to get done in just 4 hours and their workmanship is amazing. I pay attention to all of the little details & they nailed every one. I can't recommend them enough! Thanks guys!! read more

Update; (2021) 2nd job, they arrived late again /which made me very late for an urgent vet appointment(vet made me wait in my car for an hour). This time I didn't have enough wallpaper for a small powder room. I ordered amount based on sales agent recommendation. So Owner charged me $200 for wasting their time ..no apologies for being late, yet again. Also very difficult to schedule time with Midwest. read more

"I got a guy for that". That's what you'll say about Connel the next time someone is admiring your lovely wallpaper. I found Midwest Paper Hangers online and cautiously contacted them about a quote (I had received some outrageous quotes and wasn't hoping for much). Connel quickly came back with a very reasonable price and was communicative through the scheduling process. He showed up on time with an assistant - yeah Dave! - and they turned on the tunes and got to work... Less than 3 hours later, my small, awkward-cornered powder room was seriously transformed. Connel's work was meticulous, easy and affordable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to my Mom or best friend. Make him "your guy" and you won't regret it! read more

I found Connel via reviews on the next door application. I can't say enough about the professionalism, quick response, and excellent work. I was not home when the work was done, and was apprehensive walking into the house. What utter joy and happiness when I saw the work done! I'll post photos soon, but he did an accent wall and a door for me. read more

We had a wonderful experience with Midwest Paper Hangers. Connel & his son arrived promptly and finished in just over 2 hours for our powder room. They brought all materials needed and got to work immediately. I had a few other quotes given to me before choosing MPH - all were more than double the cost and they guessed a full days work. I ended up choosing MPH due to being a local business with great reviews on yelp. I would recommend Connel and his son to anyone. The finished product looks amazing and I'm very happy with it! read more

I had both father and son hang wallpaper on one wall in my office which turned out great. I decided to have the rest of the room wallpaper but the second time only the son came to hang the wallpaper. The second wall looks horrible. There are very noticeable in the rips in the paper and it isn't flush with the wall. When asked the father to come to make corrections I was told he would not do it and his son would have to as he did the job. I was not comfortable having just the son come as his experience level is not that of his fathers's and I didn't have faith that the corrections would look better. I paid over $1000 dollars for what should have been better quality. They have great reviews, which was why I hired them. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the service. read more

There wasn't a place to post photos on my review, so I just posted them generally to Midwest Paper Hanger's profile. I couldn't quite write this review without showing the stunning transformation made to a small powder room. Connell and his son were professional, efficient, and well suited to the task of applying tricky wallpaper to a unique spacel full of little challenges-- including two "wall doors" that lead to our homerun room. They ended up wrapping them as though they were gifts. The end result is beautiful. We were left with a ready to go space, and no mess. I couldn't recommend them any more highly. read more

I wanted to change the wallpaper in my apartment so I decided to search for that type of service and luckily I found Midwest Paper Hangers. I immediately contacted them and they were able to respond quickly. I said my concerns and the staff was listening to it patiently, I told her every detail I want to avoid conflicts or anything and then they set me an appointment the next day. The staff came in my apartment and they were very polite and a bit friendly. I already chose a particular design so they were only there to put it on. It did not take a long time and they finished it after a few hours. They put it perfectly and beautifully just like how I wanted it to be. I gave the staff some tip because they really done a great job. The prices I paid for the service is very affordable and I will definitely recommend this to others. read more

I selected Midwest Paper Hangers based on Yelp reviews and wasn't disappointed. They did a great job on a feature wall in a very small bedroom. If anything, it was a little pricey because it was such a small space and subject to their minimum charge. I should have wallpapered something else! But they were personable, quick, friendly with my dog, and the wall turned out great. Would definitely recommend them and will use them again if a project calls for wallpaper. read more

A favorable review for a highly skilled and professional father-son team. Connel and his son did an excellent job hanging Chinoiserie/Asian toile wallpaper in the entry of our LP home (see photo on business profile). The toile pattern features Pagoda's and various scenes that needed to be carefully matched. Connel's son worked on the outlet covers and they are precise and blend seamlessly. Connel was recommended to me by my interior designer, who has used him for several jobs in the past. Given that I was using some relatively expensive designer paper, I wanted to be sure we had someone who would be a perfectionist in putting it up on our walls. Well, Connel and his son did an exceptional job on all 3 of the rooms that I've had done so far - everything is straight, seams all match up nicely, switch plates covered, etc. etc. And, Connel is incredibly easy to work with, professional, and I felt like the prices charged were quite affordable. I'll be having Connel come back in a few weeks to do another bathroom, and I'd recommend to anyone! read more
