My mother and I always came here for a service whether it be waxing or threading for brows. Most recently my mom went for a lip wax and was left with severe burns on both sides of her lip. She felt the burning sensation immediately after her service was done and had such pain that Aloe Vera was burning instead of soothing the area. A few days later and the area has darkened even though it's being kept moisturized. We stopped by to let them know what happened and they looked stunned and felt no need to provide a compensation or solution to the problem they created. They proceeded to tell us to put cream although that won't remove the now dark mark to be left on her upper lip. They were extremely unhelpful and provided nothing but blank stares. Take your money elsewhere that you are actually valued as a consumer and will be provided with someone who is CAPABLE of doing their job properly! read more

Service: As I entered, I was instructed to sign in and have a seat. I had a feeling that I might had to wait a bit but I was wrong. Promptly they provided me with shoe covers and within 10 minutes, I was brought back to get my lash lifted. Everyone was courteous and the whole experience was pleasantly relaxing. Cost: I can't speak for the other services because I wanted to go to a place that provided lash lifting. Having gotten lash lifts done in NJ, I was spoiled with a local lash artist that provided lash lifts for $50. As I search around in NYC for a reasonable cost (based on my standards), I found this place that had $55 lash lifts! The price was amazing and you definitely won't find one similar priced in a lot of places. Environment: The inside was clean, well kept and there were several beds lined up side to side with curtains separating them. I felt comfortable getting my lash lift done here without worrying. Uniqueness: I think this place was great- they have some promotions that are going on too. Overall: Came here on a whim. Was excited to find a place that offered $55 lash lifts and took a leap of faith to find out that right off the bat, the way they were attentive to me was amazing. The person who did my lash lift was amazing and I am now excited to have a place I can go back to routinely for stunning lash lifts! read more

Back in mid May, I got the single natural set (120) - natural new set for $75. The process took 1.5 hours where I inevitably fell asleep due to how relaxing it was. When I checked my new lashes out (C curl, 11 mm), I felt that they looked too dark, but by the next couple of days, you get used to them, and they look more normal. The beautician advised me on the length and curl, saying that because my natural lashes are very short, it'd be easier for the 11 mm to stick and stay on. I can tell the quality of the glue and lashes are good, because as I'm writing this, it's been exactly 2 months, yet it still looks like I have extensions! (Okay they look janky if I look up, but still.) To note, I do take relatively good care of them. I haven't done any water activities, and I try to wash my face and shower without getting water on my lashes. Honestly for that price, which is much better than most places in Manhattan, and the appointment was very easy to fix. I would 1000% come again!! read more

I came here before a big trip to get my lashes permed, I usually get my lashes permed every 3 months at other places with no issue but this salon really messed it up. My lashes were over processed, it left my lashes fried like what happens when you over bleach your hair. I have naturally long and full lashes so I prefer a perm over extensions. After they finished I went home and immediately my lashes were so fried and frizzy, some of my natural lashes even started falling off. I called them the next day saying I have a big trip coming up and they did offer for me to come in to fix it, sadly it cannot be "fixed" as my natural lashes will not be un-fried and they needed to add in some extensions to cover it up. I am on a trip now that is over a month long overseas, as the extensions come off I am having to keep adding new lash extensions and paying for it as that's not a cheap, finding time to go get it maintained during my trip that wasn't account for before. Today I had to go to another place overseas to continue adding more to cover up my frizzy lashes and fixing it and even the other technician said this place really messed up and I will have to wait at minimum another 1-2 MONTH before I can even think about getting another perm. I am so disappointed with Magic lash salon, ironically before they fried my lashes I had recommended a few friends that I was traveling with to come here. Of course after they saw my eyes they knew to not go here now. read more

I went to get lash extensions a couple of weeks ago and I must say, I still have a good amount of lashes intact! I don't request any special lash technician as they are all pretty good! They are very accommodating as well. I went there a few days before I went to the hospital to deliver my baby girl about 3 months ago, and they were able to set up the station to make me feel comfortable and they didn't rush the process at all. I know it couldn't have been comfortable for them, so I appreciated it very much! I've been to this location a few times already and I am happy to have found a place that isn't too far from home. I used to have to trek out to Manhattan to get my lashes done and it was expensive and the quality was subpar. So if you're in the area or don't mind traveling, I recommend giving this place a try! read more

I've been a loyal customer since 2020 but I am not returning ever again. I got my upper lip waxed on 9/2 and right after that, it was hurting so much and the skin turned red (like extremely red). I thought it was temporary and waited a few more days. Now it's 9/15 and I have two spots that have bad inflammations there on the upper lip. I had to see a dermatologist twice and paid 100 for the treatment. I tried to talk to staff at the salon once but they just said it's ok, just wait. What?? It is not ok!!! it was my first time getting lash extensions and so I didn't know what to expect. I went from plain Jane to fashion nova. my lashes took about 3 hours. there were some moments when it was a sharp pain, but I don't know if that's normal. My lash tech fixed it for me when I noticed one side had more lashes at the corner than the other and that one lash wouldn't stay up. I would definitely do it again with maybe a more natural look and hopefully it won't be as long. read more

After years of considering lash extensions, I FINALLY decided I would stop being nervous and go...and I'm so happy I had my first experience here. Making an appointment was easy. I did it through their website and received a text message shortly afterwards with my appointment information. Soon after, I received another text message confirming my appointment. I arrived for my appointment and upon opening the door I noticed right away how nice it smelled in there. It was so clean and pretty, with light gray velvet couches in the waiting area. I was greeted right away by the woman behind the counter, she was really sweet. A couple of minutes later, Lana came out. We discussed the type of lashes I wanted and referred to photos on the wall. They had large photos of women with different lash styles, as well as a chart explaining lengths, curls, and the names of the lash styles. Lana explained everything to me because I was basically clueless about all of this. I wound up going with a full set of single lashes, medium length, C curl, and the Cat Eye style. I was then given plastic booties to put on over my sneakers and led to the back area. After I washed my eye area at thei sink, I made my way over to my table, laid down and let Lana work her magic. She did some lashes on my left eye first so I could look and see if I was happy with the length and curl. I was more than happy, so we continued on. It was so peaceful and quiet. They had low music playing which was pretty cool because they were all popular songs that were redone into slower, softer versions. One of the songs was Post Malone's Circles. Anyway, Lana was incredibly gentle, I almost fell asleep a few times. She was done in about an hour and I absolutely loved the results. She explained how to care for my new lashes and gave me a cute little brush for them. This was such a relaxing experience and my lashes look awesome. I will definitely be back :) read more
