I LOVE MODA LASH! Started going in 21' took a break, not sure why and started back this year. Selina used to do my lashes, very good by the way. Chris does mine now, scheduling, luv them both! Always on time and very accommodating when I text. I can say that lashes DO LAST up to a month! I'm vain and go every two weeks but have been pushing it to three cause they do last! What a great experience-loved my lashes and had very friendly, quality service. Found this place on Groupon, they honored the deal without having to purchase. The technician did a hybrid of two styles and lengths to give me the look I was going for, I was pregnant and she went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Everytime I get the same amount of lashes in and everytime it looks different. Lie about the number of lashes they put in.

Well.. the lash tech spent a lot of time doing my eyelash and they were hardly full on top the right side didn't make the left side. They next day which I always get my eyelashes done fell out.. I came on here and read the reviews and saw that they were all great. So I gave them a shot and they were amazing. I've been there 3 times already and all times have been a great experience. I got the natural mink lashes mix of 10 &11. Two weeks fill is $60. Very small place, 2 beds and Selena is very sweet and good at what she does. I am going to go ahead and give this place 5 stars because it was an overall good experience. I found this place on Groupon and ordered the lash perm with lash tint. She seems pretty busy so make sure that you make an appointment more than a day or two before your event if this is for a special occasion. This place only has 2 beds but it is super cute and very clean. They did a nice job with the decor and she had on relaxing music. She was very gentle and explained everything that she was doing. The process took about 40 minutes and in the end I was pleased with the results. She even texted me a 40% off coupon after I left. I have been too many eyelash places around NYC and can confidently say that this was a pleasant experience. I did see the girl next to me getting false individual lashes and they looked nice. I've been to quite a few lash places and my lashes came out gorgeous here. BUT I was very annoyed at the beginning of the service because she would put a few lashes on and then text on her phone. Then repeatedly put a few lashes and text again. I grew concerned because she didn't put hand sanitizer or wash her hands each time she would touch her phone. One of my eyes is still irritated after hours, which I am quite concerned about because this never happened before. read more

I was trying to give a review on Groupon, but wasn't able to, so here i am. I bought a groupon for Moda Lash for a full set, and when i go in they tell me that the groupon can not be used during the holidays, it was July 3rd not even the 4th, but they said they can still charge me what i paid for it there and i can cancel my groupon. That itself shouldve been a red flag, but no i stayed. Then they said because i already had extensions that they will need to charge me more to remove them. I told them I just got them 2 weeks ago if they can just add to them since they are also mink and the reason for me going there is to get fuller lashes. They said they would try to add to them and as soon as i laid down on their bed they automatically began removing them. They took an hour to remove both sides and told me after they had already done one side. they stated "i'm sorry we had to remove them because we couldn't put additional ones with those there." It made no sense to me.... Then I noticed they did not clean out the eyes the way other places do with some foam and a soft brush. They removed all my other mink lashes and then took this hard eye swab like wand and harshly began scrubbing my eyelashes. I had to tell her to stop, she was hurting me. Then it took another hour and in a half to put the extensions on and at the end it wasnt even what i paid for. I paid for a full set, they gave me a natural set that hardly shows at all. They look like my normal lashes. On top of that i went to use the restroom right after and one of the lashes on the corner of my eye was already falling off. i brought to her attention and she said ohhh it must have not glued properly and instead of fixing it she removed it..... I will not be coming back here. It was definitely not worth it... I cant believe it has so many stars.... Horrible!! read more

Well. As far as the service I will give them 3 stars but as for the administration now I would say two stars. I made an appo for eyelash extension. They messed up my appointment by calling the wrong number to confirm. So they gave my appointment away and told me there were no more available. They then told me because of their mistake they would allow me to come in the next day at whatever time to be seen. I tried to go the next day only for them to tell me they have no available appointments and if that wasn't okay with me I can find another store. It was beyond rude and tasteless. And I will be finding another Store. But they certainly lost my business. Just ridiculous read more
