I am pleased to write an update to my previous review of lash spa posted on 12/21/21. My concerns were taken very seriously. I was immediately contacted by Eva, the store manager. Miguel also reached out with an apology. Not only did I receive what I believe to be a sincere apology, I also received 50% off my party set lash from my favorite technician. I happily accepted! Sulli is the absolute best. She always makes my lashes look beautiful and natural. Most importantly shedding is minimal. I'm happy I was able to go back. read more

They do good work and are the quickest I've seen in applying lashes. Relatively clean facility but no blanket. They don't always have the best customer service in terms of kindness and I wish they would ensure both lashes are fully dry with the fan before ending the session. Giving a wand brush would also be a nice touch ! I have tried others and this is the most reliable and clear payment instructions with many appointment times. read more

First time eyelash lift botched. I did my research, but regardless you expect someone to guide you through any procedure and let you know what to expect. Instead, my eyes were basically glued shut and my person just walked away without any word or indication of when she'd be back. She never checked in on me, and I had to blindly flag her back when it felt like it was burning. She rushed to then start removing, and now I understand why. My eyelashes were definitely over processed and over curled. Based on my additional research, the lift should fade evenly over time, instead I have had so many eyelashes break off and fall off. The tips of my eyelashes are folded at a sharp 90 degrees against from the natural curl. I cannot even wear mascara because the eyelashes are so damaged and uneven, it looks an absolute mess. You can image how hard it is to curl only certain hairs or angles to try to look even when they are all sticking at different angles (some horizontally and even curled directly to the size...). read more

First off I want to start by saying the Lash Spa park slope location have very talented women. I have been going there for the past 14 months since April 2023 through a referral. However l will not be returning. Over the weekend 6/30/24 there was a Police Investigation on Newkirk in Brooklyn which the police advised the conductors to lock the train doors at the station for 40 mins. My appointment was at 10am and the location opened at 10am. As soon as they opened I called promptly and explained my dilemma the first thing they stated was that I am losing my deposit even if I go today, and if I wanted to keep my appointment the latest I can arrive is 10:30am. They never cared on my situation how I was doing etc. As soon as the train doors opened I took a cab and I arrived there 10:36am. I was than told the lash tech can start but if their client arrived they would have to stop which confused me because I did not understand how was that even an option if they could not finish a job I was paying for. My next option was trying to schedule for the same day; however I would not be able to return till the evening. There site and voicemail says they close at 8pm Mon-Sat. I asked for the latest appointment even if I lost my deposit which was 7pm, I was than told "oh no we close at 7 on Saturdays". I did not argue. I did not want to make a scene or raise my voice with clients getting their lashes done. I was obviously frustrated. I paid for a cab there looking to see what could be done and was not given any care. I asked for the 6pm not knowing if I would be able to make it back in time. After I arrived at my other appointment I called back 1 hour later and decided to reschedule (not wanting to add additional fee's if I was unable to make the appointment and not call back within 6 hours to cancel) to the next day however the tech I wanted would not be working. I decided to book Sunday they proceeded to tell me I would be charged for 2 weeks instead of 1 week even if I went the next day because it was out of my 7 day time frame. I agreed, however after I sat down and thought about how I go faithfully get my lashes done weekly - bi weekly for over a year and tip 20%. I am a very cheerful easy going client, even when I had to wait on a lash techs after booking an appointment when they were running behind I never complained, I could not get the same understanding. I would totally understand if they charged me the 20 but kept the 1 week refill or told they will honor my deposit but have to charge me for the 2 weeks since I am waiting for a specific tech, but there was no compassion understanding etc, I work in customer service and expect a high level of customer service especially for my loyalty and consistency. I spent thousands of dollars at the particular location and they could give a damn. Again prior to this I would have continued going here, however I like to spend my money where the business respects and cares about their clients not just see dollar signs it was not about the money it's the principle they do not value long time clients. read more

I love my eyelash lift and tint at Lash Spa. I've now had them done there 3x and each time my lashes look like I'm wearing curling mascara for the next few months. The first time I got it done I was scared that I was going to accidentally open my eyes or get some of the solution in my eyes but they were safe. They don't ask a lot of questions before the treatment but it worked out. The vibe is quiet and relaxed. One time I also got brow lamination but it didn't last that long so I won't do that one again. read more

Don't bother with this place. Go to Secret eyelash In the city instead. They are constantly trying to upsell however the work is amateur. I paid a total of $130 for a removal and new set and in less than a week the majority of the lashes fell out. My cousin also went with me and the next day her eye was red from the process. I wanted to like this spa because it's close to my house but It's a joke. I will go back to my original place (Secret Eyelash) because they charge $65 for a full set and they lady got at least 2 weeks. They are clean and nice and I should have never tried another place. read more

Love this place! They do a great job! Their lashes look natural but make a difference. They are not super thick and it's single lashes. I believe I get the regular mink (synthetic). I just moved here and had a girl I loved before who had great quality lashes from Japan but these look even better. They are pretty pricey though. read more

Absolutely the worst experience. Received eyelash extensions, and ended up with conjunctivitis (pink eye) in both eyes within 24 hours of placement. Got them removed within 48 hours. Had to pay for doctor's visit and antibiotic drops. Called and texted and messaged to get a refund and was repeatedly told they don't do refunds under any circumstances. I understand not issuing a refund if a customer is unhappy with the length, the style, etc. I'm sure that happens often and you can adjust if needed - I get that completely. What is NOT okay is refusing a refund when it's now a medical issue. This is unacceptable. read more

First time getting my lashes done at this location.but I will never return and I suggest for you not to even waste your money or time.. I asked for extra glue because as I said it was my first time here and also I'm not from Brooklyn but not only did they not give me extra glue . It seems like it was the cheapest glue or the worst job ever . I get my lashes for the past 4 years so I know how to take care of lash extensions. My lashes started falling out 15 mins after I got home by the second day 50% was gone . I contacted the business they were willing to fix it . I don't live in Ny but I was willing to go I got stuck in traffic and they could not see me .However I decided not to even waste my time because if they couldn't do 5% of a good job why should I drive two hours to get it fixed knowing they will do the same horrible job . Love this place! I got my eyelashes done for the first time at another place in Brooklyn and I hated it. I told myself I'd try again so this time I went to Lash Spa and loved the way they looked. Lash spa has samples at the front desk so you can choose the texture, length, and curl so you know what you are getting upfront. Then the section where the lashes are done was so quiet and serene. There was not a lot of people trafficking and no one talking over you. The lady that did my lashes made sure to wash her hands before and offered me to use the bathroom. It was clean and the people were friendly. Professional but still nice. I have been back a second time and plan to book my 3rd appointment soon. read more

The man at the register is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. Due to his behavior I had a negative experience for the first time in about 6 months of faithfully receiving services. He responded with unnecessary and childish comments. He told me "You can do the math." When I asked about pricing. Rude! He finally said, "Take your money and go." When I mentioned that the pricing should not fluctuate week to week. Extremely out of line. He is unable to handle clients. I have never experienced this with the young lady. Also, this is the 2nd time he asked me to pay before my services. Once again in the 6 months of receiving services this is my 2nd encounter with him and I have never experienced such negative attitude from the young lady. He needs additional training or to be placed in a different position away from clients. read more

Went in 2 weeks ago for a full lash set appointment. I did the glam full set with mink lashes. Eva did an amazing job, exactly how I wanted them for the holiday season. She went over all the packages with me, and if you pay cash you get a 10% discount. I had been getting my lashes done by a close friend for years in San Francisco so I was nervous to try a new place when I moved to Brooklyn. Eva took such great care of me and made sure I was comfortable and got the set of lashes I was looking for! It really is the best my lashes have looked in a very long time, and natural! She doesn't overdo it with the volumes if you don't want them. The only thing I would say about it is that I would love a little more privacy between clients, even just a curtain between the beds to feel like you aren't being watched with your eyes closed for an hour. My first time getting my eyelash extensions and my experience here was amazing!! I I usually trek all the way to the city so I was nervous about the results at a Brooklyn location but let me tell you, everything was perfect! This is the first place that got my eyelashes just right!! I got 10-12mm cat eye with c curl and this is the first time I don't look like I have tarantulas on my eyes. Im going to start by saying this: they do an amazing job with lashes. I received many compliments on my first set. I am going to follow that with THIS: their prices seem to fluctuate as they have online booking, and Groupon deals. I originally made my first appt online via their website, and then received a notification via email from Groupon within minutes after making my appt (good old internet phishing!) I then immediately call to ask if the price I saw on Groupon could be honored - they say "yes". GREAT! Well I get to the salon for my visit, and the woman at the front desk proceeds to tell me "yes, we would have honored that price but that's only for 90pc sets, which we don't have available at the moment".... yeah, sounds suspect as hell.. but whatever, I just wanted some damn lashes. So I proceeded to pay regular price for my set. Fast forward to yesterday: I go back to get my THREE WEEK REFILL. They were SUPER CLOSE to not honoring the $85 price for the refill because I was at 23 days, NOT 21. It took a bit of back/forth haggling with the receptionist, but she finally agreed. I then lay down to get my set. Whilst I am laying there, another customer comes in and has THE SAME ISSUES I HAD WITH PRICING!!! I can hear them arguing with my eyes closed! The woman said exactly as I said during my original visit.. she didn't want to argue, she just wanted some lashes. ALSO: I'm pretty sure the set they used to refill my last set was NOT mink, rather synthetic. I can feel and see the difference. I just called to discuss this with someone, and he assured that they would NEVER do such a thing. Look, overall - they do a GREAT job with lashes. But it just seems I have dealt with multiple questionable situations during my past two visits. I will return, but now I know what I need to look out for when I do. read more
