I went to the shop 15 min before my appointment, and the technician had no record of my appointment. I then waited an hour total for the matter to get sorted, and the technician could not take me on that day. I was in a rush because I was coming out of a hectic time at work and wanted these done for an event, so wasting an hour wasn't easy to do. The technician had me contact the owner of the shop on my own because there was no record of my appointment -- turns out she hadn't written my time down. Unfortunately this was not surprising as she had seemed a little absent-minded on text. While the owner offered a refund, she wasn't able to offer that as it was purchased through Groupon. It was the cherry on top to my frustration to have her offer a solution that wouldn't work and I had to do my own research to come to that conclusion. I ended up getting the appointment so I wouldn't be wasting my money, but if I had other options I would've asked for refunds or discounts. The owner did apologize, but it took way too long and shouldn't have happened in the first place. The technician was sweet though and offered an alternate service, but it made no sense to spend an additional $40.
