Worst experience from a merchant ever !! Was difficult even getting someone on the phone and when I finally did , it was a bunch of excuses to get an appointment, Over a course of 3 weeks , still no appointment but when you actually do walk ins ( 4 different occasions) no other clients are in the shop ??!!! And they still can't provide the service they are advertising.. What kind of business is that ? Btw I really wanted to put - 0 stars because That is what they deserve. read more

I needed a Brazilian, but didn't have time to get to my regular place in FiDi, so I thought I'd give this place a try, since it was close by. It was the worst Brazilian I've ever had. There were 2 wax specialists, and they kept walking in and out of client's rooms to borrow products. But they never knocked, they just came and went whenever they needed. This happened twice to me when I was on the table, and it was such an invasion of privacy. I watched it happen at least 10 times while I was waiting (for over 30 minutes)! The woman giving my wax came out to the lobby and said "Who's up next for pain" WHAAAA!?!?! Why would you say that?? I thought she was just joking, but I swear it was so much more painful of a Brazilian than a Brazilian ever needs to be. She ripped every strip off so nonchalantly. There are ways that you can stretch the skin when you're ripping, and apply pressure after you pull up the strip that can help relieve the pain. She did NONE of this! She pulled every strip so harshly it was ridiculous. It was like she was ripping a page out of a notebook. And even that could have been more pleasant. I asked for her to leave some hair at the top. When she was done, I asked her for a mirror to see the final results. What she'd left wasn't at all what I asked for, but after all that pain, I decided just to leave it. When I got home, I realized that the area she left was super crooked / off center, and she was just going to let me leave like that if I hadn't asked for the mirror. I'll never ever come here again. Terrible experience all the way around. read more

Amazing Brazilian wax service at a great cost. They use organic wax at a moderate price, and my wax specialist Badjwa was both thorough and comforting. They have other wax options too if you are seeking sugaring or chocolate wax. Located very conveniently on Fulton, clean/new place, and they offer a free punch card -- every 6 waxes get 1 free. Great deal and will definitely be back. read more

I love this place and the team faithfully they are all so sweet and attentive. I've been going for over a year for my waxes no matter what, Sarah my wax lady is so kind. They attended to all women needs and they do whatever possible to make them comfortable. I found them on TikTok and tell everyone to go there, my mom and I now have the same wax lady Sarah read more

Worse place ever! They did my facial and then I got sick the next day wtf, I should sue them and don't let their mask fool you. They are sick and have roaches in the facial spa. read more

I got a Brazilian wax done and my eyebrows waxed and I love it! Jyoti was super friendly and very thorough. This was much less painful and smoother than other Brazilians I've had. I also like that there is a loyalty card you get. The prices are also reasonable. Make sure you carry cash just in case the card machine doesn't work, though. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Brooklyn! read more

I gave this salon a fair shot, and while my first ever visit was fine, it only went down hill from there. I often left with incredibly red and irritated eyebrows. Not to mention, the staff at times were very rude. One woman asked if I lived in the area and and when I answered yes she responded "oh so that's why you come here." Isn't what why most people seek out a spot that's conveniently located close to their HOME?!?! And at another point, the owner commented that I had gained weight, shook her head and said "what a shame, you're usually so skinny" who doesn't love to hear that!! The final straw for me however was my last visit, the woman who threaded my brows took an eternity and totally butchered my face, leaving cuts and scrapes on my brow line. I'd suggest finding another location. This one is brimming with red flags. read more

This place is unprofessional so don't waste your time or money. I called for an appointment I was told I could just walk over. I asked more than one time was she sure and she stated it's 100% fine. I said it's going to take me about 30 mins, no worries she replied. I get there exactly 30 minutes later and guess what? They can not see me! I showed her my receipts of calling and she said sorry after 5 we do not except walk in's. I said I literally just called and spoke to someone, she says it's her first day. What does that have to do with me? The salon is brand new and it was absolutely empty inside. I'm not sure why she couldn't see me because it also stages online the salon closes at 8:30pm! The correct thing to do would've been to take me anyway seeing you're empty, you gave out incorrect information, and lastly you're a new salon! I would never go back. read more

Been coming here for years, Sandy did my services for the first time, Brazilian & a detox and it was the best ever!!!!!!!

Got the 4 layer facial and Brazilian with organic wax. Excellent service and I was very pleased. The Brazilian was not bad pain wise and the facial was great with The microdermabrasion Happy customer will be returning read more

Everyone says "Go to Sweetie" and I can see why! Went in for a Brazilian and Sweetie got my girl together. She's so thorough and literally was done in 10 minutes. Kept conversation going to distract me from the pain, and made me feel so comfortable. I will say that the "glitz and glam" offered at other shops is not here, but I'll sacrifice that for technique and the ultimate finish. I'll definitely be returning for another wax soon! read more

I went to get my lashes done. They came out so beautiful. The girl was so fast with them and so gentle with me. I would definitely recommend going! Also sandy did my eyebrows im always scared to try someone now, but she did great I loved my shape read more

My wax begin like any normal wax.... I was on my phone to distract me from the pain that I've grown accustom to. Basically scrolling social media while Mona began. She asked a few time if I was ok after tearing away strips which is pretty customary. I said yes and she continued. Then at one point she was pulling a strip and stopped before removing it. This caused me to flinch nd I asked her why she stopped. Knowing her delay was gonna cause me more pain cause the strip still had to come off. She then called sami into the room and spoke in another language. Sami started to put on gloves and then told me that Mona informed her I was in a lot of pain. I explained to Sami that I was fine and familiar with waxing also I never complaint. Sami then leaves the room after saying something in another language. Mona then proceeds to tear away the strip and apply a lot of baby powder. I felt a sting which immediately alarmed me and asked why was I burning. She had a look of concern yet no response. I then asked for Sami to come back in the room. I used my cell phone to take a picture of my vagina and immediately started to cry at what I saw. A huge gash was on the inside of my lip. I also had dried wax and a ridiculous amount of powder. Sami said she'd compete my waxing free of charge as if that just makes it all better. Smh Thee most traumatizing waxing experience of my life!!! The owner Sami attempted to better the experience by finishing up and she also offered several apologies; however I was too far into anger and sadness! She also offered another free wax for "next time" as if! TRAUMATIZED!! MORE THAN LIKELY NEVER GETTING WAXED AGAIN! Side bar: I had to go to the ER this morning for discomfort and swelling. Official diagnosis "Laceration of labial mucosa" read more

Got a Brazilian wax and my eyebrows threaded and tinted! Love it!!! Thank you Sweetie!!!

Sweety is an amazing person! So caring, professional and funny. I did my waxing and it was the best experience I have ever had. Prices are great, scheduling was quick and easy (no delays). The place is clean and very cozy. Definitely recommend! read more

I have been serviced 6 times at this facility. My initial treatment was completed by a young lady named Bajwa. She provided stellar service! Not only did she take the time to clean her hands in front of me prior to servicing me, she also cleaned my chin prior to waxing. Unfortunately, this would be the first and only time I would receive her service. Each time I returned and asked for her l was told she was not in. Today l decided to ask does she still work at this location and was told she no longer works here. The technician proceeds to begin servicing me and attempted to service me without cleaning her hands or my chin prior to waxing. I inform her she needs to clean her hands and my chin prior to service and she becomes argumentative and make excuses why she could not clean my face. I display my frequent visitor card and advised her everyone has cleaned their hands and my chin prior to servicing me. At that moment I asked if there was someone else available and she said no. I advised her l would be taking my business elsewhere. Just finished up my first visit to Brooklyn Waxing studio and already know it's my new neighborhood spot. Bajwa took such amazing care of my kooka (chocolate wax $15) and face (eyebrows $6; upper lip $4; chin $4), I left feeling like a new person. Highly recommend!! read more

I came here for an eyebrow and over lip wax. The owner wanted to give me a full facial. I insisted that's not what I wanted, the owner and assistant spoke in front of me in their native language; they began the waxing around the area not knowing they both had agreed to a full facial. Never had a facial. I was in pain this sent me to a dermatologist. Doctor said their solutions used on my skin was not safe for my skin. The owner never tested my skin. I will never go back there . I was recommended by my cousin after complaining about going all the way to Williamsburg for a wax, which by the way would never be "fully clean." The wax is done by owner Meenu. When I got there, it wasn't a long wait. I can tell she's popular because of the amount of people who came in and was shocked she moved to a new location as they could not find her. Her wax is SUPERB and she makes sure to triple check. I found a new wax place which is very convenient for me right in the bedstuy area. Very clean! read more

The owner acts as if she's in a rush & extremely insensitive, don't try to slightly cool the wax & ripping the strips extremely fast. They offer a Groupon that not even the owner recommends. Purchase the Groupon, arrive for service and the owner tells you how bad the wax is that is provided with that service. Oh let's not forget they provide services and then when you're done they try to charge you all of these extra fees without having told you that you were being charged. read more

This was the worst waxing experience in my life. First I come in and she is watching me get undressed (very uncomfortable), then she used burning hot wax on me and just kept yanking it getting wax all over me and never gave me a chance to breathe after each pull, she didn't wear gloves either, I really don't recommend going here for a Brazilian!! read more

I've been stalling on writing my review, but I recommend Brooklyn waxing studio to any and everyone. I've been coming to this salon since last summer and I'm always left satisfied. A couple weeks ago I went to get another Brazilian and at first I was hesitant to go to a new lady, but Rashi was very comforting and ensured that almost everything came out. During my session she'd talk with me to make sure I was comfortable and overall I'm just pleased with Brooklyn Waxing studio. read more

The site said that you do not need an appointment to get the service and I travel for over an hour to get there and hearing that they cannot see because I need an appointment. I wasted my time do not waste yours. The lady have a stink attitude with it. read more

Meena was sweet and friendly and the place was clean, but she didn't seem happy that I came in with a groupon. She kept asking me why I wouldn't get my bikini done as she was waxing my legs and I eventually relented. The bikini wax was okay (a steal for organic wax and clean - no double dipping), but half of my legs had hair still when I left. I ended up needing to do my legs again at home :( Maybe leg waxes aren't their specialty, but I was disappointed. If you're doing Brazilian waxes this might be a better place to go, but check first if they'll match Groupon prices in store. read more

Wouldn't go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done. Sweetie does them to perfection, I don't even have to tell her how I like them done. Highly recommend this spot for waxing, threading, tinting! read more

Will never return, humiliating experience and my skin did not heal well. She didn't have change for a ten dollar bill.

If I could give this place -1 star I would. This is was the worst wax experience of my life. I asked for a partial Brazilian and the woman took it on herself to give me a full one even after I looked up and said that is too much. She said "I thought you were afraid." Which is NOT what I said! I called in her supervisor who said the customer is always right....she doesn't like the baby look. This conversation happening while I'm still on the table in a vulnerable position if you know what I mean. The only way to fix it was to make both sides mirror, but I was left with what looked a balding hairline because the sides and back were left. Both women also double dipped and my skin has broken out terribly afterwards. I would never go here a again and I advise you to do the same. Stay clear of this horrible wax location in Bedstuy! read more

Walked in to an empty salon with 3 workers on their phone sitting. Told them I was here for a facial, but as soon as I Said from Groupon they caught an attitude. Lol. Said I had to make an appointment. Regardless, they took me. Facial was okay. Extraction only on the top of my nose and chin, no where else. Tipped regardless because I've been in the service industry. HOWEVER, said I had to pay $4 for a "Groupon tax". What a scam. Wasn't gonna argue over $4 tho. Not going back and insist on anyone looking at this place to go somewhere else. $13 is a good price for the service I got though. read more

Please do not go here! It's simply very unprofessional and dirty. She used one wash cloth rag and a bowl of water! I have difficult skin so I tried to be nice by paying full price rather than purchasing via Groupon. I explained that why I wasn't happy and she said there was nothing she could do. Not only that but the credit card machine didn't work! Which was probably a lie they more than likely just don't want to refund you or take accountability. I'm like seriously worried about my face right now, I've gotten plenty facials and it looks really bad. Seriously do not go here! SCAM. read more

ASK FOR BAJWA! Best waxer. She is gentle and really cares about her work. She wants you to look your best

The waxing itself was great. The customer service is a bit weird. She stood over me to watch me write a review and she also watched as I did my payment as if to guarantee I tipped. I wasn't going to change my initial review since she did the waxing great. But even when she was waxing she constantly left the room to go do something else and she also answered a phone call while waxing me. It was kind of unprofessional. read more
