The building was easy to find, but the poster is kind of small so keep an eye out. You need to get buzzed in. The studio itself was clean and minimal. The space was super safe and Jordan was really friendly. Her playlist was IT and she can hold really good conversation. I got the works- a whole Brazilian. The session was really quick and not as painful as I thought I was going to be. No bleeding and hardly any redness. It's been 5 days and the coochie meow meow is still smooth. I made an appointment for a Brazilian and paid $55 online upfront. The appointment was made for a Tuesday. I received an email confirmation and receipt. A few days before the appointment, I got a text asking to change the appointment to Wednesday, which would have been completely fine! I responded multiple times through multiple methods (phone, text, email) asking about the new time on Wednesday, since it wasn't specified, and got no answer. I then got a confirmation of the original Tuesday appointment on that same day, so I assumed the original appointment still stood after all. I went to the appointment and was again unable to reach anyone through text, phone, buzzing the building, or email, so I went home pretty upset. About 25 minutes after the scheduled appointment, someone reached out over the phone. They were very apologetic about the miscommunication and refunded the entire appointment, as well as offered to give a 50% discount if I ever book with them again. I'm changing my review from 1 to 3 stars, since it seems like (based on other reviews) the actual service provided here is extremely good--the communication with customers, though, maybe not so much. read more

I came to Luna Le Vag during June 2021 because I'd been curious about getting waxed for years but never had the nerve to do it. Since things were opening back up, I took advantage, especially after seeing a glowing review online. Jordan took care of me and has been amazing with every visit. She so personable and talked me through my first few sessions. One of the reasons I wanted to do sugaring vs regular wax was because it's supposed to be better for you when hairs grow back and especially if you have sensitive skin. I've experienced ingrown hairs before and that was once too many. Also, having sensitive skin it was important to have someone take care of me. Jordan and I spoke about this and informed me where would be the most sensitive parts and helping me breath through it. I had heard scary things about waxing but sugaring with Jordan is exactly what I would hope a good experience would be for the first time. She also gave me information for aftercare to make sure that I was good and wouldn't have any problems. It's great that she informed me of natural ingredients to use and are easily accessible. Had a better experience with better results here than at any of the overpriced Manhattan places I've been going to for years. It was my first time with sugaring instead of waxing, and I found it less painful, with less irritation and smoother skin afterwards--I think because the hair gets removed with the grain instead of against it, as Jordan explained. Jordan herself is super great and had clearly planned the experience to make it as comfortable and non-awkward as possible (which is honestly no small thing when you're going for a wax). Also, the price for what you're getting is VERY reasonable. I'd recommend this place to anyone, but especially first-timers who might be nervous.
